Harry Potter reboot. Is it needed? - Page 2

I was rewatching HP series movies with a friend who hadn’t read the books or even looked up anything HP related and he enjoyed the movies but had doubts that I kept clearing in some parts. Which made me realize as good as the movies were, more details was needed. So I am open for the show unless they ruin it with forced wokeness.

as someone who absolutely adores HP novels..I am open to the TV series..I’m just worried with so much lobbying going on by some groups that they are out there to just malign everything HP and JK Rowling related. At first I didn’t know what was going on and based on some tweets I thought JKR was a phobe but the more I read about both POVs and JKR’s full support for LGB, I can see there’s much more to it. Anyone who doesn’t bend over backward to accept someone else’s pov is branded a ______phobe.

This isn’t the place to have a long discussion about this but I saw this documentary on twitter (quite popular, released recently) which asks some very interesting questions and shows some very terrifying things. (*watched without letting my left/right leaning political ideology interfering)

I believe Harry Potter would work better as a tv series than feature films . Except POA and the deathly hallows , most movies didn’t do justice to the books IMO

Being aware n inclusive should be a way of life..and current trend isn't that.

Loved the initial seasons of Lucifer but later ones were unbearable for this same reason..couldn't even complete them

If they've decided to go ahead can they at least cast him if he is still active..
