I am part of knowledge gone unnoticed (The letter 'K' is silent in the word 'Knowlegde')

have a friend who comes at day's end (When day ends, 'Night' begins. So 'N')

we are used to staying united ('I' from 'Indians' probably)

although finding me in truth is hard (When one speaks the truth, there is no 'Guilt'. So 'G')

standing strong and time tested ('H' from 'Healthy' may be)

absence of me makes life void ('T' from 'Troubles'. Quoting from GoF - Whats life without a few dragons! 😆 )

Predictable...not to everyone maybe. And I did not get the right answer either. Actually you always say it's like your other riddles...so just that bit was predictable. Hence all those titles still belong to you dear. 😊

Now, as an incentive for trying, do I get an additional clue? Perhaps you could tell me if any of the letters from the word that I guessed are right? 😳
