Is it magic, Laksh? But it fits only for two lines. The first, magic is a part of knowledge gone unnoticed by muggles. You could say a wand is the friend in the second line but a wand does not come at the end of day... Then the third line, magic and wands keep united. The other lines don't fit at all so probabally I'm wrong.

Hmm...well for now, CJ (@cutecj) and Laksh (@lakshmi_3004) have given two riddles 😊. If you go through the first few pages of the thread you'll know how to solve them, though each riddle-maker has his/her own style 😳. Each of the lines is a clue to the solution and of course the answer is HP related!

Would love to have you participating (guessing as wells as creating) some riddles in this thread. It's fun! 😃

And about the TT discussion, it's hard to summarize, but we were basically discussing how the magic concerning the device cannot be logically explained and whether it is acceptable. To fully understand however, you should read the entire discussion. I have looked for the links of the relevant pages. Hope you find it interesting. Also let us know how you like the idea of a new thread for topics like these! 😊

As for my opinion on the time turner, the whole institution seems lethal to me. Time is the last thing a wise person tries to trick. It goes without saying that the proper use of the device could not be expected out of everyone, hence the restriction and the somewhat lack of familiarity regarding the device made absolute sense. A student like Hermione Granger would never have meddled in anything that endangered lives. She was wiser at 13 than you'd expect my 70 year old grandmother to be. So, naturally Rowling showed that the use of the time turner was very rare as not everyone possessed the skill to use the device properly.
