I could have helped the trio in their quest

The horcruxes can be destroyed using fiendfyre

Had the brilliant one used me

Hermione knew about it from Horcruxes book but was not brave enough to use it

I am easy to use and difficult to handle

The spell is easy to cast but it is difficult to control the curse once unleashed

The one who handled me well was not successful

Lord Voldemort can control it well but was not successful in defeating Dumbledore in the duel at Ministry of Magic

But the one who lost control was able to help the quest

Crabbe lost control of fiendfyre and in the process destroyed the diadem thereby helping the trio's quest

I'm fun to play with

The students play with it

If you tickle, I writhe

It is mentioned that the students sometimes tickle its tentacles and it squirms in response

Large and hidden

Well, it's large and remains in the lake

I cannot be ridden

Some students were trying to ride it but were thrown off

To me there's a door

Also from the lowest floor

It can be seen from the Slytherin Common Room windows which is in the dungeons which is the lowest floor of Hogwarts

Lastly, I am big

It's after all, the GIANT Squid

Probably the last to live

It says so that the Giant Squid of Hogwarts is probably the last to remain of its species

So, yayyy!!!! 🥳
