Your answer fits the 3rd and 4th line only...but not theother lines...Salazar was never seen in lost memories...neither in the book nor in the movie...you are very close nobo...just a lil more... :)

Is it Marvolo Gaunt? I take his belonging to be slytherin's ring and that was the first horcrux to be "hunted"(first horcrux:diary,was never "hunted"). He fits some of clues but not sure about few others...

You are right on Varun...Congrats...and I will personally deliver you your prize (juz kiddin)...

It is Marvolo Gaunt...

"You found me in lost memories,

You found me as a part of you."

In these lines...Marvolo was seen in the pensieve by Harry and Albus...And the second line refers to the ability to speak to snakes which was the common trait shared by both marvolo and harry.

"My belonging was the first to be hunted"

Your explanation was right.

here the myth that I am talking about is the the supposed myth of the Deathly Hallows...which was proved to be true by the Ring.

"I was proud of who i was,

It led to my misery,alas!!!"

In these lines I am referring to the pride of marvolo in being a descendant of Salazar and the misery refers to the fate of marvolo induced by his pride which led to the attack on the Ministry official who visited his house and the subsequent events which led to his imprisonment and spending the rest of his life in Azkaban.
