I'll try to do it soon, but I'm kind of swamped with exams and papers right now cause I'm taking a summer class.😊 I actually wanted to make up my own questions instead of choosing an 'outside' quiz, but if I don't manage to do that, I'll just choose an already done quiz. Sorry for the delay.

In the sense of defying known conventions, providing plenty of shock value and elevating Draco to the forefront as well.

I would really like to disagree with people saying Ron and Hermione are absolute opposites. They are not. You could just say they're opposite in the fact that Hermione is a genius while Ron isn't? I think such pairings are pretty normal even in the real life.

But what makes Ron and Hermione stand out is despite their little tiffs most of the times, they've always had each others back. Hermione and Ron are a lot similar to each other if you take into account their inner personalities. Hermione is as impulsive as Ron would be if she is hurt.

And as for understanding, these two have known each other since they were 11. They've stuck with each other through thick and thin. Always. I feel they're the perfectly imperfect couple, and they both complement each other really well. And Ron isn't immature. He can be really protective when it is required. For example, Deathly Hallows. Hermione was completely broken after Bellatrix tortured her and Ron was the stronger one who stood up for her and took care of her.

It just shows, no matter how much they bicker, these two will always have each other's backs and that's what makes them the most charming couple in the series! Just my opinion :)

btw, this particular part from HBP is really cute 😆
'Hermione, you are honestly the most wonderful person I've ever met,' said Ron weakly, 'and if I'm ever rude to you again -'
'- I'll know you're back to normal,' said Hermione.

^I love how she just knows how to tackle him most of the times 😆

In case u didnt notice its always harry to whom hermoine used to stick to ,not ron!
remeber the fourth and seventh book..and well, ron and hermoine were differnt they were not opposite..in the sixth book too, its harry's shoulder hermoine cries on..i wish harry/hermoine were a pair i did really love it then.😃

and then when is lyf completely predictlable and wen have been the series?till the end we were not aware of wat will happen next..so i guess harry's lyf too shud have been THAT unpredictable.😊

At your first point, Let me elaborate. She used to stick to harry ... because ? Because when ron left them in deathly hallows, she knew that he was wrong. Even Ron acknowledges that he was being an outright jerk. And for Hermione, saving the wizarding world was a bit more important that being with ron. And she cried for weeks when he left. She even begged him to come back when he was leaving. It hurt her. But she stuck with harry because she was doing the right thing, not because she had feelings for harry !
When she cried on his shoulder, let's not forget why. Because Ron kissed lavender brown. She was hurt because it seemed to her that he liked Lavender and not Her. She was hurt because she wanted him and he didn't want her. It was what it seemed like to her. And she cried on harry;s shoulder (which was just an additional scene in the movie) because she needed support of a friend. If she had a best friend who was a girl, she would have cried on her shoulder... would that mean that hermione'd have developed feelings for a girl?
In the fourth book, it was probably the most clearest indication that Hermione has started to develop feelings for Ron. It didn't bug harry that she came to the Yule Ball with Viktor Krum, it bugged Ron because ... well ... he fancied her then too. 😆 only that he was very insensitive. Even hermione cried because Ron hadn't realised that she might have been expecting him to ask her out. "Next time there's a ball, pluck up the courage to ask me before somebody else does and NOT as a last resort."
She could have said the same thing to harry. But she didn't. I wonder why.
And if I'm correct in understanding what you wrote, you mean that Hermione actually had feelings for Harry but she married Ron because that was convenient? You mean that she kissed ron because she was out of her wits and didn't understand what she was doing? 🤣

You've covered practically everything I wanted to say 😆

@Mihika- I don't think anything else is needed to prove that Hermione ALWAYS had feelings for Ron, and she looked at Harry as just her best friend/brother.

Mihika, nothing you say is going to change people's mind over here. I myself am a Harmony shipper, though am a bigger Dramione shipper. I think Harry's and Hermione's bond is 100x much better written than R-Hr's. JKR has done such a wonderful job of writing Harmony's relationship than Ron-Hermione's relationship.

I love JKR, I worship her, she's my idol, but I wont hesitate to say that if she had gone with flow rather than stick to her original R-Hr pairing, the outcome would have been a beautiful and heartwarming relationship between Harry & Hermione. I am 100% sure. Harmony go beyond what is termed as sexual tension or feelings. Their bond is brilliant. Their hearts are connected, they know each other so well. Harry has never hurt her, and she has never hurt him.
He knew how she was feeling about anything, unlike Ron. He never made her cry, unlike Ron. She never misunderstood him. In my eyes, this is NOT a sibling relationship. No siblings share such a pure bond as Harmony's. I feel they are like soulmates...connected...deeply indeed.
And yes, Dramione & Harmony shippers are called delusional. We are told that Dramione & Harmony happen only inside our heads. But I'd like to say something: Of course it's happening inside our heads. But that doesn't mean it isn't real.

^ we're not trying to convince anyone, Mihika. I'm basically just supporting what i said. And if that seems like i'm not respecting your opinion, then so be it. I know i haven't insulted any couple, nor do I wish to because in my opinion, couples don't matter much. It's the trio I care about.

I think that is the beauty of fiction. The authors have their own characterizations in mind. However, each character takes root in the imagination of the reader. These characters, their emotions, their relationships and everything around them is shaped uniquely based on the readers perceptions and imagination. That is precisely why fantasy fiction is so popular, because of the abundance of freedom for a reader's mind to imagine their own worlds and canon at will.

Personally, I love the multitude of relationships that fans perceive within the Harry Potter. It shows that J.K Rowling created such vibrant characters that readers actually connect with and love. A lot of time characters in books are flat and don't go beyond what is on paper. People actually care for Harry, Ron, Hermione, Draco, Voldemort, Snape etc, they even care for the minor characters to be it Cedric, Cho, Lavender or whoever.

There are some Potter relationships I cannot stand, some I absolutely adore. There are some that make sense to me, some that seem totally absurd. I'll engage in debate and discussions with shippers because its really a fun part of the Potter experience. However, I don't see why anyone is delusional or wrong for perceiving relationships differently, it irks me when people view it that way. Someone who thinks and perceives differently is bound to have characters grow in different ways in their mind. I actually relish all the relationships that are out there because to me it is an extension for J.K Rowlings work to flourish and live on in our minds.
