well...somedays agao there was a post rather a discussion that whether harry can be a horcrux..or not.

i read the sixth book again and i saw that u horcrux can only be made of an object and not a person.U can create a horcrux only when u kill someone.Voldy tried to kill harry so that he cud create his sixth horcrux.

sixth horcrux can be anything but not harry.........😛

Possible Horcruxes
Dumbledore believes that Voldemort made six Horcruxes (thus rending his soul into seven pieces, with the last piece remaining within his body) after viewing a memory belonging to Slughorn. In this memory Tom Riddle tells Slughorn that he believes having one's soul split into seven parts would make one stronger, because seven is the most powerful magical number. Dumbledore suspected that the items that were Voldemort's Horcruxes were:

Marvolo Gaunt's ring, hidden in the Gaunt shack. This Horcrux was destroyed by Dumbledore before the start of the school year in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, though the ring physically survives with its black stone now 'cracked down the middle'.

Tom Riddle's diary, destroyed by Harry in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (though he did not know its true nature at the time).

A locket once belonging to Salazar Slytherin and hidden in an underwater cave. This Horcrux was not recovered as it was replaced with a fake by an unidentified R.A.B. It is uncertain if the orginal locket still exists or was destroyed. There is, however, "a heavy locket that none of them could open" found at 12 Grimmauld Place in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix which also suggests a reasonable identification of R.A.B.

Two of the following:
An unknown item belonging to Godric Gryffindor. Dumbledore indicates that Gryffindor's only known surviving possession, his sword, is accounted for; it resides in a glass case in his office, though he overlooks the Sorting Hat as another possibility, this is supported by the Sorting Hat's song in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire - "'... 'Twas Gryffindor who found the way, He whipped me off his head ..."

An unknown item belonging to Rowena Ravenclaw. This is possible as Rowling has implied that something big about Rowena Ravenclaw is to be revealed.

The great snake Nagini (once Voldemort was unable to procure an item belonging to Gryffindor), as suggested by Dumbledore. If true, this was probably created with the murder of Frank Bryce.

Some other unknown item. Dumbledore suggests that because of Voldemort's arrogance he would not choose just any random item.

Some believe that Harry's scar may itself be a possible horcrux, as it was created simultaneously with Voldemort's murder of Harry's parents.

All of his Horcruxes have a special meaning to Voldemort, whether it be from a founder of Hogwarts, where he felt most at home, or from a trophy of his torturous actions.

well...in the sixth book dumby tells harry that harry and voldy are in equal power.
Rather harry has an extra advantage as he has the power of love.He can love which voldy cnt.
Harry i think will not die and ven if he dies he will die a noble death 😛
But i am sure he wnt die.

Moreover in the sixth book dumby tells that voldy saw a part of the prophecy or the way he wanted to see it. 😛 😛 it is not necessary that all prophecies r true...
so...there is a chance for harry to live... 😛 😛 😛

I read the book again and again - Dumbldr says horcrux can be a living thing. its just not wise thing to do! and u remember Nagini? - now thats not thing is it?

well... so all i say is anything and anyone can be a horcrux . technically, it could be harry , ron, dumbledore, snape, harry's firbolt or luna's 'lion hat' 😛😛

Horcrux can be made only of an object.Horcrux of a person is dangerous.Voldy could not get anything and hence made nagini attack a muggke and make nagini a horcrux.
But he didn't kill harry with the intention of making him a horcrux.
Even now he wants to kill him coz he wants to live....
coz dumby told harry that voldy even without his horcrux is very powerful.
Voldy can only and only loose to harry as they have equal powers.
Read the horcrux chapter..once more 😛

i hv read the whole thing many many many times...but u r right, its very dangerous to make a living horcrux. I m just saying it CAN be made.

second thing - u don't hv to kill a perticular person to make the same person a horcrux. u can kill literally anyone!

and..... i think...... making harry a horcrux makes sense.

how?? - lets see -

1. voldy knows some part of prophecy which is: 1 dead and then other survives. i.e. he wants harry dead = he survives!

2. only Harry can kill him.

3. Harry will hv to destroy all horcruxes to kill voldy.

4. now if he makes Harry horcrux , thats means at somepoint b4, harry kills voldy, harry has to kill himself.

5. that means harry dead = voldmort survives! 😊

so looks to me a very safe game to play!

but as we all know, this might not happen coz. JKR is not that predictable!😊
