You have a point Raj, probably dadi did not perceive how much influence DM has already had on Ishu..since ishu managed to cover up everything with her lies..

Ishu needs a sterner hand to overcome her flaws, someone who understands her , loves her but also controls her...

is Sahil that person???

SD said something about other family members, now we might see new characters in Sahil's family..

Ishu's dadi never really pays attention to Ishu for her mahi come's first, Ishu is aware of that. Mahi is dadi's jaan.

As for SD I know Ishu messed up big time, but she is so obsessed with mahi, sahil's feeling don't even matter to her.

We have seen Ishu being a caring sister to mahi, like when she gets her ready for the prospective rishta, being supportive and helpful and when the boy like's Ishu she puts him straight. If she was selfish she would have not bothered.

Ishu has confided in mahi telling her about sonny.I know mahi does not know sonny is sahil.

I wished mahi would have confided in Ishu too, when Ishu seen sahil's pic, mahi she should have told her why she had the pic she had nothing to lose.

Know the blaming start let's see what happens.

Raj, Lovely post. Your take is so balanced and interesting.

Haven't been able to watch the show of late, just heard that Sahil is engaged to Mahi??!! Couldn't understand what they are doign with this. It is so predictable at one level...am losing interest. Just want to support the actors. Neha is doing a great job as are the others...but not the way the story is developing.

yeah great thread. I agree Ishu's dadi has given up on her. She was says negative things about her. I wonder how much hurt ishu must be feeling when she thinks that Mahi is Dadi's jaan. its not mahi is something special. its just that elders like kids who are less of a trouble and less naughty. and Ishu's dadi also likes Mahi because she listens. but that's no unfair. wish everything in life was so straight but its not.

I do not like Ishu's dadi saying bad things about her and keep on praising Mahi like no man's business.

also I agree that Sahil's dadi is obsessed with Mahi without knowing her much and has totally disregarded what Sahil feels for his life partner. and she has forced her decision by threatening to give all money etc. this is not right on her part too.

both dadi's do not want to understand their children. because it goes against what they want.

Very well put Raj. And as elders and head of family if they make some decision, we should respect their decision as it comes as a result of experience. This situation could have been handled in a very logical way. SD did not hide the name of the girl from Sahil..Very unfortunate that the phone dropped at the very minute when dadi told the name... So I will say even SD is not to be blamed. From dadi's perspective she told everything to Sahil and Sahil did not refuse so what will SD think - that yes Sahil is ready and has agreed..

And yes this time when rishta came for Mahi then why will dadi allow Ishu to go out as previously ishu's mom only said that from now on we will not allow Ishu to come out as she is more beautiful. Keeping that in mind she did not let Ishu come infront of SD. So, this is all destiny as it was destined to be this way. Sahil, Ishu simply assumed that rishta has been fixed. These assumptions, taken for granted attitude ruined the whole thing.

And as far as dadi loving Mahi more is very realistic as this happens in real life too. Dadi has always lived with Mahi and family and only after her parents died and Ishu's dad died, they all are living together. And Mahi is an orphan so dadi is more attached to her. Nothing wrong in that as dadi knows Ishu still has her mom and she can guide Ishu but nobody is there for Mahi hence she became her mom, her guide. We saw similar thing in CCBM too when NT dadi was more close to Nivi than Divya... it is very obvious , jiske saath rahoge uske saath jyada attachment ho jata hai.
