In a 2022 interview, Ranveer disagreed with 8 hour shifts
I don't think Jannat has lost her childhood yet. She is good actress for her age, and I think she wants to be an actress when she grows up. If you watch some of her interviews during her Phulwa days, she used to go parks and play pranks on the directors and such. And I'm sure she does have a play time when she's at home.
I also think Jannat is special case when it comes to the children who they are trying to portray in the show. She herself has said that she wants to be an actress when she's older and her dad has supported her during her earlier shows. Given her dreams, her parents should know where her priorities lie, which is education. Most kids who are the television industry usually don't go to school, which is wrong. Education is a must (at least till high school).
If Jannat continues to get show offers, then I think she would be losing her childhood, given the amount of hours she has to work. Directors should not make the kids work more than 3-4 hours (not even that much- maybe just 2-3 hours would be enough), that too with frequent breaks. If they want to get the show on air within a specific date, then they should start shooting earlier.
Coming to the new comer, so far, she is doing a good job as far as acting goes. And I think in the near future, she might be getting new roles as well. But as said earlier, it depends the amount of work they have to do at the end of the day.
In general, I think it's hard to say if both the girls' lives are the same (or even similar) to their characters, but who knows, maybe in the future it might be true.
