Arpitha hugged him and tears of happiness started rolling down her eyes. Awdesh hugged her passionately and didn't let her free. Awdesh loosened his grip and faced arpitha. He wiped out her tears gently with his hard fingers and nods his head in a no. Arpitha smiles and Awdesh closes his eyes, with a smile.

Awdesh – "want to capture your smile into my memories forever. I can never forget this moment. I want to live with you like this all my life."

Arpitha answered him with a hug. Her action spoke more to Awdesh. He tightened his grip and the two were lost in their world of LOVE. Arpitha wanted nothing from the world at the moment, because she had everything with her. All her life she longed to be loved truly. The very moment she met him for the first time, she knew that some bond existed between them. And finally she found her true love.

While the two hearts started beating for each other, there was someone else who was witnessed their union.

Awdesh and arpitha sat down in the lawn watching the sky. It was all filled with bright stars. Awdesh looked back to arpitha and her bright face glowing in the splendid atmosphere. Arpitha noticed that Awdesh was staring at her and blushed. Arpitha got up and walked away. Awdesh smiled and supported himself with his stretched arms on the ground.

Arpitha went inside and tried to prepare something to eat. She found nothing that can be eaten. She tried everything in the kitchen. Either it's rotten or the other creatures in the house have already tasted it. Arpitha came out in search of Awdesh and to her horror, she didn't find him. Arpitha searched for Awdesh in worry.

Arpitha (screams)—"Awdesh…I am frightened. If this some sort of game, I am warning you, I won't spare you."

Arpitha wiped out her sweat and continued her search. Leaving out no place in the mansion she finally reached the lawn where they last met. Arpitha sat down on her knees and cried. She opened her water coated eyes and found some flowers on the ground with a piece of paper under it. She opened the paper in haste. It said,

"Arpitha, my LUV,

I have made arrangements. A vehicle will come to pick you up and will take you home safe.

Awdesh"

Arpitha broke down. She didn't understand his sudden action of leaving her. Arpitha silently cried and fell down on the ground in despair.

Chulbul was driving while arpitha sat silently without a word. Chulbul looked at her and could understand her state. Chulbul picked up the bag and handed it to arpitha.

Chulbul – "Awdesh bhai told to give you this."

Arpitha, who was shattered, took the bag. It was her bag. She opened it and found her dairy in it. She closed it and silently watched the road ahead of her.

Arpitha who was in bed, thinking about her past had tears in her eyes. Ever since Awdesh left her, she had lived a life of misery in his thoughts. She loved him truly. And true love can never be forgotten. Arpitha wiped out her tears.

Arpitha (whispers to herself) – "why am I crying? He never loved me. I was an idiot who loved him and spent my life waiting for him. Enough is enough. I have to be strong. I have to go home first. Dad will be worrying for me."

Arpitha came out of the bed. She opened the curtains and the sun was already up high. She started walking away when she heard someone talking. She hid near the door and listened carefully.

Chulbul – "bhai, what should we do now?"

Awdesh – "I can't take risk. Arpitha's safety is our prior concern. If they find her, she'll be in risk. For them she is dead."

Arpitha was shocked to know all this. Who are they? In the first place why are they after her? Why did Awdesh want to rescue her from them, when he doesn't love her? And why did he lie to them that she is dead. While arpitha had such big list of questions running in her head, Awdesh and Chulbul continued with their conversation.

Awdesh – "Pappu and master will leave the country in three days. We have to safe guard arpitha these three days. Take care. Increase the security around the haveli. I won't no mistake to be done. When someone visits us, make sure arpitha is hidden in some room and finally keep in mind that arpitha doesn't get to know about all this."

Arpitha was highly confused now. She kept her patience and continued to hear their conversation.

Chulbul – "what shall you tell her?"

Arpitha became alert. She wanted to know what is in his mind. But to her bad luck he remained silent.

Chulbul – "bhai, you still LOVE her right!!!"

Arpitha closed her eyes and waited for his reply.

Awdesh – "go make the arrangements."

Arpitha sighed in disbelief. She hated it when he hides his feelings. At that moment she wished to go direct to him, hold his collar and ask him straight – who are you to me? Why are you into my life? While everyone was busy in their own work, there was some noise from inside. Awdesh hurried in that direction and arpitha followed from behind.

Reaching the kitchen door, Awdesh smiled to see sunaha with the chocolate ice cream bowl spilled over the ground. Sunaha was in tension. She would cry if he would even utter a word. Awdesh moved towards her, pulled another cup of ice cream from the fridge and handed it to sunaha. Sunaha was so happy. She clung to his shoulders and kissed him on his cheek. Awdesh smiled and hit his forehead to hers. Arpitha smiled at his gesture. She knew, whatever he is, with his loved ones he is always very gentle and caring.

Awdesh – "eat as much ice cream you want and do anything you want. I'll take care."

Sunaha – "you are my best friend from today. Friends"

Sunaha put forward her sweet little hand and Awdesh watched for a while.

Awdesh – "on one condition"

Sunaha (with a sad face) – "what condition?"

Awdesh – "you will give me my bribe for it every day."

Sunaha – "bride. Where will I get you a bride now…that too every day"

Poor sunaha mistook bribe to bride. She would off course. She is just a child of 6 years. Awdesh smiled heartily to her innocence and lifted her into his arms and kissed her on her cheek.

Arpitha watched all this and smiled away. She couldn't understand Awdesh. A moment ago she was angry on him and was ready to leave the haveli. Now, she is melted down and her heart is showering LOVE on him. Arpitha was confused. She was still thinking.

Awdesh – "Arpitha…how are you this morning?"

Arpitha stood silent without any word. She just looked at him with many questions in her brain.

Awdesh – "I know you would be mad at me. I can read your thoughts arpitha."

Arpitha – "yes. You know everything. You can read my thoughts, feel worried for me, and wish for my good being and what not. But I am not fortuned to know any reason of you leaving me. Neither will I be allowed to know the reason on why I am here nor the people who are still in search of me. Right Awdesh. "

Awdesh completely understood that she is damn angry on him. How should he butter her? Arpitha sighed off and left away Awdesh. Sunaha who watched all this from a distance came into picture and offered help to her new friend.

Sunaha (Licking the ice cream fondly) –"is didi mad at you Awdesh"

Awdesh made a sad face and nodded his head in a yes. Sunaha smiled and gestured him to sit down.

Sunaha – "when ever didi gets mad at me, I usually go and make a sad face in front of her. She looks at me. Then I go near her and kiss her on her cheek. You also do the same. She will be happy and forget all her furry."

Awdesh was startled at her idea. He smiled in amazement. But inside his brain, he considered the idea.

Awdesh – "are you sure your didi will be impressed if I do as you said."

Sunaha nodded her head with great force. Awdesh smiled off heartily to her innocence.

Awdesh – "do you have any other idea to cool down your didi?"

Sunaha – "hmmm…yeah. She loves flowers, specially the red roses. Get her a bunch of them. She will be super happy."

Awdesh was not interested in buying that. He is still not sure.

Sunaha – "Friend, I am hungry."

Awdesh had a mentos moment (dimag khi bathi jali). He smiled and carried sunaha with him to the kitchen.

Arpitha was still in the room not able to decide on what do. She was suddenly stuck by the fact that, sunaha and she was out last night to have ice cream and here they are. Sunaha's parents would be worried. Arpitha ran in all directions, searching every corner of the haveli for sunaha.

Finally she reached the kitchen and found Awdesh cooking something while sunaha sat on the desk of the kitchen eating chocolate.

Arpitha – "Sunaha. Come let's go. Mom and dad would be worried for you."

Awdesh looked t them and looked back to sunaha.

Sunaha – "didi, I spoke to ma and papa on phone. Awdesh called up and told we will stay here for few days. Its holiday time right, so ma also agreed."

Arpitha – "sunaha, shut up. Let's go."

Awdesh – "why are you being rude to her. Why can't you stay here for a few days? Please arpitha."

Arpitha (holding Sunaha's hand)– "come sunaha"

Awdesh didn't like him being ignored like that. He caught hold of her hand and held it tight.

Awdesh – "you are not going anywhere. Sunaha, come, I prepared magi for you."

Sunaha looked confused on whose orders to follow.

Arpitha – "sunaha, come."

Awdesh – "you are my friend right!!!"

Sunaha's confusion reached heights. She made a weeping face and started to sob.

Arpitha –"what happened dear? I am sorry. Please don't cry."

Awdesh – "Sunaha. My dear love, don't cry. Your di is very rude; we'll not talk to her. Ok. Now be a good child. Stop crying."

Sunaha stopped crying and someone was jealous of the love being showered on sunaha. Arpitha left the kitchen in fury. Awdesh called for Chulbul.

Awdesh (to Chulbul) – "take care of sunaha. I'll come"

Awdesh followed arpitha and found her sitting on the bed with her head hidden in her lap. He silently reached the bed and sat in front of her.

Awdesh – "you were supposed to be in your uncles house. How come are you here?"

Arpitha (seriously) – "why are you bothered."

Awdesh – "I know you are serious with me, but first complete your breakfast and then shout at me. Come."

Arpitha kept her silence.

Awdesh – "please listen to me. Come."

Awdesh held her hand and she didn't respond. Awdesh had enough. He lifted her in his arms and carried her to the empty kitchen while arpitha shouted at him to put her down. Awdesh landed her on the dinning chair and put the plate of magi in front of her. Arpitha watched his act with irritation. Awdesh rotated the plate and it stopped spinning with the fork in her direction. Arpitha folded her hands and looked at him with a streak of uninterested attitude.s

Awdesh (pulling her leg) – "oh…now you want me to feed you also. Sunaha is far better than you."

Arpitha – "what"

Awdesh – "yeah, she is just 6 and she can do all her works on her own."

Arpitha – "so you mean to say that I can't eat on my own."

Awdesh nodded his head in a yes and places his hand under his chin and waits for arpitha to respond.

Arpitha – "will you stop all this. I know why you are being so nice to me. Enough Awdesh I can't take it anymore. I have overheard you guys. You will safe guard me till you 'boss' leaves the country and then again (voice lowers) you'll leave me."

Awdesh's smile vanishes. He raises and prepares to leave the room.

Arpitha – "wait. What is all this after all? Who are you? Why do you want to rescue me? Did you ever LOVE me? Please Awdesh I need to know. I can no more live in this confusion. Please tell me. Who are you to me?"

Awdesh turned to arpitha and found her cheeks wet with tears. He moved towards her and gently pulled her. Wiping her tears,

Awdesh – "I can't see you in pain arpitha. Please don't cry. You want to know who I am and why you are into this crap. All Right!

I am an orphan arpitha. Lal Singh is the man who raised me and gave me what all I have today. Ran Vijay is his son. He is a maniac. Whoever girl he wishes for, should be in his bed that night. That day when I saw you for the first time in college, was the very same day when he also saw you. He wanted you and sent his men after you. And I couldn't bear that. I can't see anything wrong happening to you. For you, I can go against the world. But I can't betray lal Singh. So I had to do all this. Please understand arpitha.

That animal ran Vijay is in town and you aren't safe till he returns back to US. You will stay here till he leaves the country."

Arpitha (Stunned and stubborn again) – "I don't bother whoever he is. (Softens). Do you love me?"

Awdesh has tears in his eyes. He hugs her and arpitha got her answer.

Awdesh – "more than myself. And will continue to love you till the end of my life."
