Ysterday's epi showed him as a true father .Me not surprised or shocked to see like him and wouldn't after watching today's epi.

His change wasn't happen so sudden. Its a gradual change ,that he realised what his daughter was and is and will be. But never showed to the outside world coz of his ego , never wanted his children take advantage of him but always under his control.

Since Arpi told his love for Avi, papa rai was completely against her, as a strict father without understanding his young children's feelings and emotions, he felt its his right keep them under his control make them listening whatever he says coz he used to tell whatever they getting is all because of him. Here he is the master father but not the lovely father the way children dream to see.

He knows as an educated and being a man in high position in society can understand what women exactly like or love to have the life the way they want to live as men.But he is a typical man with the male ego and proud.Things started changing for him when simple entered his house as bahu , where he can see how an educated girl wants to see eqaulity and some liberty but not under control of a man.As we see in real life many men show double standards for their wives and lovely daughters.Here Its the same with Papa rai. He dont show his changing attitude inside to the world but he surely felt proud of his daughter with time as he expected he will be ashamed and be lone in society when ppl say some thing against him for what his daughter done by marrying a gunda.He always wanted the name and fame in the society but not his daughter's happyness. He just see that once she married into pappu's house who got money and name in society she will be alright as we can see many parents think the same for their children.

But he keep taunting her every time whenever he face his daughter coz somewhere in his heart she did something against him which he never like to bear that he dont likes.

The things were good for him and his daughter as well where he can see the money and the fame as the FIL of Bhayyaji or AST brought some change towards her daughter as Arpita was hurt by her father but never ill treated him after she got married to Avi instead, sometimes Avi himself showed some respect as damadh made him feel better or somewhere inside has got a feeling whatever his daughter done is right.

The CV's showed his changing attitude towards her daughter on holi day the way he blessed Avita though he was drunk too much baang, but not out of his senses. Whatever he did tell atlast he tried to express his love for his daughter. The death of Arpi makes him really shocked as he wants to see the bonding of father daughter relationship to new level but he never expected that Arpi committ suicide as he knows his daughter is much more brave than his sons , and may be he keep thinking all these days that Arpi got a wonderful husband and happy married life and wonderfl inlaws who care much his daughter , whatever he imagining wasn't true but her daughter suffered very much and committed suicide really made him shocked. Now we can see a real father who crave to see his daughter's happyness was failed to see coz the haweli ppl put a blindfold on Rai's family. Me wonder what happens when they learn the truth that their daughter still a virgin bride even after one year of marriage? The Rai's family feel betrayed by Avi and his family and Simple might dig deep through soon to find the reason for not consummating as she been watching Avita known for their passionate love for each other.😉

He is a typical father who suppress their feelings for their children as they think showing love towards them is nothing but spoiling them but always thought money gives all the happyness in the whole world which is obviously false.
