Very nice post Sona! And the views from everyone here are equally good... we have all understood the essence of the story and have come to feel for the characters, which means the CVs have done a very good job.

I also hope this is a story of hope and faith, not depression. GKD should be about Avdesh and Arpita's journey, and not about how Arpita handles Bauji... that would make it a saas-bahu type drama. That would just not work for a script like GKD.

There is a trace of Hero and so many other films in this story... which I don't mind. as long as they show in an intelligent way.

I used to follow Pratigya but got turned out by the extreme violence there (aborting fetus again and again is just disgusting). It's the same writer Shanti Bhushan, writing this one. Hope its different here...

Avdesh is not loud, a man of few words, very shy, soft-spoken with his bauji.... very interestin traits in a goonda...

The story has tremendous potential!

this story has great potential and the creatives have to go with the flow

its the story of avdesh and arpita how they brave all the things that come their way and how they cope

that is the basic essence of the story..

once again i wud like to say becoz of the way the story is i enjoy it. dont want any saas bahu drama.


the cast is doing great job here and dialogues r written very well

and as it says in synopsis

the lead has to go through all emotions

beginning we saw rough and tough guy

later we saw soft side to him also

now we saw how vulnerable and gullible he is

hats off to ashish for doing brilliant job of this character..

he has to sustain this

varna aaj avdheswa has done daagad dam acting and is dancing away in my mind's eye with his expressions...but actual taandav toh woh kal karega.😉
