Rewa keeps her hands on the hips and asks sternly "waise Kesar,tum yahaan kya kar rahe the?mujhe bhi jaanana hai ki Gulaal ke room mein itna kya special ki jab dekho tum yahin pahunch jaate ho?haan…… bolo tho….."

Kesar quickly looks at Gulaal who now had a soft blush on her face and goes near Rewa "tu na aaj kal bahut baat karne lagi hai.kuch bhi bol deti hai…….", and lightly taps her head.

Rewa cries out "ouch,waah Kesar jab Gulaal paas nahi thi tab tho meri baatein tujhe bahut achi lagti thi aur ab dekho…batha doon Gulaal ko ki kaise tum ro……..", she is unable to speak because Kesar had shut her mouth with his palm.

He looks at Gulaal "patha nahi kya bol rahi hai.aur ab humein chalna chahiye na.waise bhi bahut intezaar kar liya". Gulaal laughs out loud as she enjoyed the teasing between brother and sister and silently nods giving her assent to Kesar.Rewa could sense a silent conversation going on between the two. She is overjoyed to see the love and happiness on their faces. As they come down the stairs they hear Poonam ba's flustered voice "Gulaal,kahaan thi beta,kab se doondh rahi thi main tumhe.tere baapji bhi tujhse baat karna chahthe the.lekin ab uske liye samay nahi hai".

Gulaal looks at Kesar annoyingly but is not able to keep up the faade when she sees him grinning mischeviously. She quickly answers "baa,woh main aap ka kaam hi kar rahi thi ki kakiji ne mujhe ek aur kaam de diya.tho main wohi kar rahi thi".

Kesar looks on in amazement as Gulaal comes up with a convincing excuse.

Poonamba: "acha ab chal.Roopa ki bidaai ka samay ho gaya hai".

Gulaal is surprised "itni jaldi,lekin abhi tho waqt hai na".

Poonam in an emotional tone : "nahi beta,Roopa ko bida karne ka,usse bichadne ka samay aa gaya hai.chal ab warna der ho jaayegi".

Poonamba goes to join the rest of the family but Gulaal just stands there in a daze.She could not believe the time had come for her little sister to leave them. Kesar and Rewa look at each other and then Rewa comes to Gulaal putting a hand around her shoulder "Gulaal,tum udaas kyun ho rahi ho.dekho Roopa ek nayi zindagi shuru karne jaa rahi hai na.main jaanti hoon tum apni behen ko bahut miss karogi lekin aaj kal ke zamaane mein doori maayne nahi rakhti.you can talk to her,chat with her anytime.isliye ab itni gumsum math raho.aur yeh kabhi math bhoolna ki main bhi tumhari behen hoon.agar kabhi Roopa ko miss karo tho mujhse aake baat kar lena.theek hai.ab chalo nahi tho phir se aunty aa jaayengi".

Gulaal is overwhelmed by Rewa's gesture and hugs her tightly. Rewa had always been by her side throughout. She was the only other person besides Kesar with whom she could share everything, be herself and never feel embarrassed. She says a silent prayer to God for giving her such a good friend and sister.

Kesar is equally affected. Rewa kept surprising him every single day. He still couldn't believe that his little imp of a sister could actually be so mature and wise at times and that too when it was most needed. He starts to feel quite emotional so he says "arre ab chalo.Gulaal,aunty tumhara wait kar rahi hongi.tum jaao". Gulaal let goes of Rewa and walks off with a smile.

Kesar watches her go when he suddenly sees Motaba coming. He goes over to Motaba and says "sorry Motaba,mujhe abhi-abhi patha chala ki aap Gulaal aur mujhse kuch baat karna chahthe hain…."

Motaba: "haan baat bahut zaroori hai.Gulaal ki aane waali zindagi ke baare mein.lekin koi bat nahi abhi sab kaafi vyasth hain.thodi der baad baat karte hain jab saare mehmaan chale jaayen aur Revji bhi thoda free ho jaayega.lekin baat tho aaj hi karni hai kyunki bahut zaroori hai".

Kesar: "jee Motaba.mujhe bhi aap se kuch baat karni hai.acha hai aaj hi kar lein".

Motaba with a smile: "theek hai Kesar.ab chal mujhe wahan Revji ke paas jaana hoga.ek beti ko bida karne ka dukh main samajh sakta hoon.agar main uske saath rahunga tho shaayad uski himmat bandhi rahe.chal Kesar". Kesar and Motaba go to the place where the bidaai had already started. It turned out to be quite an emotional affair. Finally Roopa who by now is totally inconsolable takes the blessings of her parents, brother and then she comes to Gulaal. They both share a tight hug with Gulaal trying to calm Roopa down.

Gulaal through her tears:"Roopa,tu rothi hui bilkul achi nahi lagti.actually bahut bhayaanak lagti hai.isliye jaldi se aansoo ponch le".

Roopa smiles at her sister and whispers "Didi,main jaanti hoon ki mujhse zyaada aap dukhi hain mere jaane se.lekin aap meri chintha bilkul math kijiye.mujhe ab koi darr nahi.aur didi main bhagwaan se hamesha yahi dua karungi ki aap ko bhi aap ki khushi jald se jald mil jaaye". She nods at Kesar. Gulaal is stunned and mutters "tujhe kaise………"

Roopa: "aap jab hospital mein behosh thi tab aap ki zubaan par sirf ek hi naam tha…….aur mujhe realize hua ki jo khushi maine aap ke chehre pe pichle kuch mahinon se dekhi thi woh sab usi insaan ki wajah se hai……..Didi aap ko zindagi ne ek aur mauka diya hai khush hone ka.bahut kam logon ko naseeb hotha hai yeh.ise khone math dena".

Gulaal smiles at her widely and replies "nahi,Roopa,main ab use apne se door kabhi nahi jaane doongi". Roopa and Gulaal share one more hug and this time they are truly happy for each other. Roopa also takes the blessings of other realtives and when she comes near Kesar she whispers to him "meri didi ka hamesha khayaal rakhna.unki aankhon mein kabhi aansoo math aane dena…" before she moves away and sits in the car. All the family members wave her off and Kesar looks on in wonder as the car disappears into the distance.

Motaba and Revji are sitting in Revji's room along with Panba when Gulaal comes in followed closely by Kesar. Motaba and Revji share a small smile looking at the tense expressions on both their faces and Motaba goes on to say "Gulaal,beta….humne aaj tumhe yahaan isliye bulaaya taaki hum tumhari aur………". Before Motaba could say anything more Gulaal stops him "Motaba,mujhe maaf kar dijiye.main jaanti hoon ki mujhe aise beech mein nahi bolna chahiye.aap ki baat sun leni chahiye.lekin main jaanti hoon ki aap mujhse kya kehna chahthe hain.Kesar ne mujhse baat ki thi is baare mein……"

She looks at Kesar for a second who smiles at her asking her to go on. She takes a deep breath and says "main jaanti hoon ki aap sab ko meri bahut chintha hai.isliye chahthe hain ki main hamesha khush rahoon.aur isi wajah se aap mera rishta karvaana chahthe hain.par Motaba main is rishte ke liye haan nahi kar sakti kyunki main kabhi khush nahi reh paaungi……kyunki main ….main….Kesar……". She suddenly feels shy and hesitant to tell her family about her feelings for Kesar. Kesar understood this and quickly jumped in "Motaba,main usi din aap se baat karna chahtha tha is bare mein lekin mauka nahin mila.koi baat nahi,mujhe khushi hai ki aaj main aap sab ke saamne yeh baat kar paa raha hoon.yeh aap sab jaanthe hain na ki maine Gulaal ko hamesha apna acha dost maana hai.main uski bahut izzat karta hoon.par mujhe yeh patha hi nahi chala ki kab yeh dosti pyaar mein badal gayi.haan…….main Gulaal se bahut pyaar karta hoon,usse shaadi karna chahtha hoon aur main aap sab ko yakeen dilaata hoon ki main hamesha use khush rakhunga aur har kadam par uska saath doonga."

Revji and Motaba exchange glances and Revji asks "Gulaal,yeh Kesar kya keh raha hai?"

Motaba: "haan Gulaal,kya yeh sach hai?batha beta…tumhare mann mein kya hai?"

Gulaal answers in a low but clear voice "haan,Kesar ne jo bhi kaha woh sach hai". She takes a look at Panba whose expression is unreadable and says "Kesar meri zindagi mein us waqt aaya jab main bilkul toot chuki thi,jee tho rahi thi lekin main sirf ek zinda laash thi.Kesar ne mujhe phir se hasna sikhaya,jeena sikhaya…..", she looks at Motaba and says "mujhe maaf kar dijiye Motaba,main jaanthi hoon ki samaaj shaayad hamaare rishte ko kabhi poori tarah se sweekaar nahi karega.aur logon ki baaton mein aa kar maine apne aap ko Kesar se alag karne ki bhi koshish ki lekin isse mujhe aur Kesar ko dard aur tanhayee ke ilaava kuch nahi mila.main jaanti hoon ki aap mujhe hamesha muskuraatha hua dekhna chahthe hain.lekin Motaba main Kesar ke ilaava aur kisi ke saath khush nahi reh sakti…..main usse door nahi reh sakti Motaba" and Gulaal starts sobbing resting her head on Motaba's lap. Unknown to Gulaal, Motaba and Revji share a small smile but Kesar fails to notice it as he finally hears the reason for Gulaal's distant behaviour in the past few days and his mind is slowly processing it.

Panba is unable to see the pain on Kesar's face and Gulaal's tears move her so much that she speaks out "ab bas bhi kijiye aap dono.ab aur kitna sataayenge bachon ko.dekhiye tho zara dono ki kya haalath ho gayi hai". she gets up from her seat and holds Gulaal "Gulaal utho beta,rona bandh karo.Hamaari wajah se bahut ro liya tumne ab tumhari zindagi mein sirf khushiyaan hongi.arre Motaba aur Revjibhai tum logon ke saath mazaak kar rahe the.humne tum dono ko isliye bulaaya tha taaki tum dono ki shaadi ke baare mein baat kar sakein.ab tho hans do beta".

Gulaal is not able to understand anything and looks at Panba blankly. She then looks at Kesar who had a similar shocked expression on his face. Panba looks at both of them and then at her husband who is now smiling "yeh acha hai.dono ko pareshaan karke aap khud hans rahe hain.ab aap hi samjhaayiye in dono ko".

Motaba stands up and puts a hand on Kesar's shoulder "beta,jab Panba ne mujhse tum dono ke baare mein baat ki tho mujhe yakeen nahi hua.main yeh jaanana chahtha tha ki aakhir tumhare mann mein kya chal raha hai.isliye us din tumse Gulaal ke rishte ki baat ki.main yeh dekhna chahtha tha ki tum yeh baat sunkar kaise react karoge.tum us din mujhse kuch keh nahi paaye lekin bina kuch kahe hi main tumhare dil ki baat ko samajh gaya Kesar".

Panba lovingly places her hand on Gulaal's cheek and tearfully says "Gulaal,tum samaaj ki chintha karna chod do. unke darr se hum apni khushiyon ko daanv pe nahi lagaa sakte na.tumne bahut baar apni khushiyon ko kurbaan kiya hai.maine khud kai baar tumse tumhari khushiyon ko cheena hai.lekin is baar nahi.ab tumhe apni zindagi sahi maayinon mein jeeni hai Gulaal.Samaaj aur uske jhoote rivaazon mein ulajhke main apne ek bte ko kho chuki hoon.main nahi chahthi ki iska asar tumhari zindagi par pade.maine dekha hai beta ki tum aur Kesar ek doosre ka kitna khayaal rakhte ho.mujhe yakeen ha ki tum dono ek doosre ko hamesha khush rakhoge.meri duayein hamesha tum dono ke saath hongi".

Gulaal is truly overwhelmed by Panba's emotional outburst and hugs her tightly with tears flowing freely. Just then the door opens and Poonamba enters with a smile "arre aap ne in dono se baat kar li kya?main thoda kaam mein vyasth ho gayi thi isliye aane mein der ho gayi.tho kya kaha dono ne……shaadi ke liye tayyar hain ya nahi….".

Revji happily replies "Poonam,tayyar ho jaayiye hamaare ghar mein phir se shehnaai goonjne waali hai".

Poonam ba looks at Kesar who has a huge smile on his face and Gulaal who is also smiling but now there's a hint of shyness. She says a silent prayer thanking God for giving her daughter another shot at happiness.

In the next few days a panditji is called upon to fix an auspicious date.Kesar and Gulaal are overjoyed when Panditji suggests a date which is just a week away. At first the families seem confused wondering whether they would be able to handle all the wedding preparations with in a week and are talking about choosing another date when Kesar speaks out " NAHI…….", every single person including Gulaal look at him surprised at his vehement tone. "………mera matlab hai …..main aur Gulaal ek simple si shaadi chahthe hain.bas hamaare parivaar aur kuch khaas dost aur rishtedaar.aur shaadi ki tayyariyon ki chintha aap sab kyun kar rahe hain.main hoon na,main sab arrange kar doonga.is choti si wajah ke liye shaadi ki tareekh change math kijiye".

Gulaal who is standing beside Kesar is stunned at his announcement and starts blushing red as the entire family teases him

Panba: "beta,humein patha hai ki tumhe shaadi ki bahut jaldi hai.lekin apni shaadi mein tum khud bhaag daud karoge yeh acha tho nahi lagega".

Motaba who was laughing aloud "Kesar,tum bilkul chintha math karo.hum tumhari shaadi Gulaal se hi karvaaenge aur ghabrao math hum date change nahi karenge".

Revji and Poonamba also join in the laughter. Gulaal feels so embarrassed that she runs off leaving Kesar alone to face everyone with a sheepish smile. Finally both the families fix the date and immediately start working on the preparations.

Soon the day of the haldi ceremony arrives. Gulaal is in her room thinking about the last time she had undergone this ceremony. She had been very excited. Poonam ba had explained the significance of the ceremony to her "beta,pehle ke zamaane mein aaj kal ki tarah shaadi se theek pehle ladkiyan facials aur baaki saare beauty treatments karti nahi thi tho isliye yeh haldi ki rasm rakhi gayi taaki shaadi ke din dulhan ke chehre mein chamak aaye aur woh sab se sundar lage.aur beta is rasm ki ek aur khaasiyat hai.patha hai tumhare upar lagne wali pehli haldi tumhare hone waale pati par lagi hui hothi hai.kehte hain isse tum dono ke beech pyaar badtha hai". At that time it had just been a formal ceremony for Gulaal-nothing more, nothing less. But this time Gulaal knew it would be different.

Suddenly someone comes up behind her and closes her eyes. Though she is confused for a second she immediately recoginzes that it's her sister Roopa "arre Roopa,tu kab aayi?aur tu yahaan kaise.tu tho apne Honeymoon pe jaane waali thi phir achaanak….mujhe bathaya bhi nahi….kal raat ko hi hamaari baat hui thi na……….".

Roopa: "Didi,one question at a time please.sab se pehle main aap ki khushi mein shaamil kaise na hothi.tumhe meri zaroorat padti na…..aur phir maine Baapji aur ba se keh diya tha bas tumse chupaaya kyunki main tumhe surprise karna chahthi thi".

Gulaal with a smile: "main bahut khush hoon Roopa.tere bina yeh khushi adhuri si lagti.tere pati aur unke gharwaalon …….unhe….unhone tujhse kuch kaha tho nahi na.woh shaadi mein shaamil honge na".

Roopa: "Didi,woh kaafi suljhe hue log hain. Unhe tho bahut khushi hui yeh baat sunkar.tum chintha math karo.tumne theek kaha tha didi sahi jeevan saathi agar sang ho tho saari mushkilen aasan lagne lagti hain".

Gulaal and Roopa share a tearful hug and Roopa quickly wipes away her tears and says "acha,ab bas rona bandh.chalo neeche chalte hain.shagun ki haldi pahunch gayi hai.bas sab tumhara hi intezaar kar rahe hain".

The ceremony starts with the haldi being put on her face by her mother and other elders (only women) and Gulaal experiences a very strange feeling-of Kesar being around her, with her and she smiles thinking what Kesar would say if he heard her thoughts "Gulaal,tum bahut zyaada filmy ho gayi ho.bhala meri lagaayi hui haldi ke kaaran tumhe mere paas hone ka ehsaas kaise ho sakta hai?tum na bas mere pyaar mein paagal hothi jaa rahi ho". Gulaal laughs and the women around including her mother look at her surprised. She quickly makes up an excuse "kuch nahi….gudgudi ho rahi thi bas". And she keeps on smiling thinking quietly "haan waise paagal tho ho rahi hoon Kesar ke pyaar mein.abhi se yeh haal hai tho patha nahi aage chalke kya hoga".

After the ceremony is over Roopa accompanies Gulaal to her room to help her in cleaning up. As soon as Gulaal enters the room she realizes something and says to Roopa "Roopa,tu jaa.main kar loongi.tu jaa kar Ba ki help kar.neeche mehmaan aaye hue hain na aur woh akeli hain.isliye tu jaa".

Roopa tries to protest but ultimately she gives in to Gulaal and goes downstairs. As soon as Roopa leaves the room, Gulaal closes the door and calls out "chalo,baahar aao…kahaan chupe ho?"

There's absolute silence for a few seconds and then slowly Kesar comes out from under the bed and gives her a sweet smile "tumhe kaise patha chala ki main yahaan hoon?"

Gulaal in a stern voice: "pehle tum bataao ki tum yahaan kya kar rahe ho aur tum upar kaise aaye?"

She tries hard not to smile. She really did but looking at him standing there in a white kurta with traces of yellowish colur still on him and his floppy hair falling on to his eyes-she lost the fight and gave in to a smile.

Kesar comes towards her with a naughty grin, "woh main tumhare balcony pe ladder lagaage ke upar aaya.main bas tumse milne aaya tha. Main tho yeh dekhne aaya tha ki tum par haldi ka rang chada ya nahi.main tho soch raha tha ki tum bahut funny lagogi ".

Gulaal: "acha,tho bathao kaisi lag rahi hoon?"

Kesar looks at her for a second taking in her appearance. She looked radiant in a simple yellow salwar kameez,her hair was tied back in a pony tail and her face,arms and legs were completely covered in haldi but this only added to her beauty. Kesar starts walking towards her and says "Gulaal,main har baar sochtha hoon ki isse zyaada sundar tho tum lag hi nahi sakti lekin phir jab agli baar milta hoon tho tum pehle se bhi zyaada khoobsoorat lagti ho".

At any other time Gulaal would have laughed at the cheesiness of the statement but right now the earnestness in his voice and the intensity of his eyes was making it hard for her to breathe properly. He is now standing very close to her and is about to take her in his arms when she stops him "arre Kesar,ruk jaao.kya kar rahe ho?tumhare upar haldi lag jaayegi aur saare kapde kharaab ho jaayenge.isliye door raho Kesar."

Kesar laughs and says "woh tho kabhi nahi kar sakta.aur haan main tho isiliye aaya hoon taaki tumhare upar lagi hui haldi apne upar lagaa loon.patha hai isse pyaar badtha hai……."

He proceeds to take her in his arms and slowly caresses her cheek with his hand.

Gulaal blushes a bit and replies angrily "tumhe patha nahi ki is tarah shaadi se pehle milna abshagun hotha hai aur phir tumhe kisine dekh liya tho acha nahi hoga".

Kesar gives her wide smile "tum apne hone waale pati se is tarah se baat karogi…..main tumse milne ke liye itni mushkilen uthayi aur tumne mujhe ek smile bhi nahi diya.aur yeh kya tum aisi abshagun type baaton mein kab se vishwaas karne lagi"

Gulaal smiles back at him and says "acha ab smile kar diya na tho please jaao.and haan main aisi baaton par vishwaas nahi karti lekin ab main aisa kuch nahin karna chahthi jis ki wajah se hamaare beech koi doori aaye".

Kesar holds her chin and makes her look at him "awww Gulaal….aisa kabhi nahi hoga.Don't worry". He looks at her for a few seconds all mesmerised and says "hai…kitni pyaari lag rahi ho Gulaal.ab chalo jaldi se apne haathon se mujh par haldi lagao…pyaar se.uske baad mein chala jaaunga.ok"

Gulaal looks at him and then she smiles mischeviously saying "theek hai,lekin pehle tum apni aankhen bandh karo". Kesar immediately closes his eyes with a wide smile intact on his face. She then holds his face in her hands and brings her face closer. Kesar's pulse starts to race when he feels her warm, sweet breath on his lips and his arms tighten around her instinctively. Gulaal knew the effect she was having on him and it makes her feel powerful. For a second she enjoys the feeling. Slowly she moves back and then goes on to rub her cheeks against his transferring the haldi on to him. She does the same to his other cheek and then frees herself from his embrace to look at the result. She could not help but laugh out loud. Kesar looked dazed and confused with the haldi all over his face. "Kesar…..dekha maine kitne pyaar se tum par haldi lagaayi".

Kesar had completely forgotten about everything when she had been so close to him. But then he came back to reality when he saw her laugh. She looked so young, so innocent and so happy.He looked on with a soft smile thinking "Gulaal,tum hamesha bas aise hi hansti rehna.tumhari khushi se badhkar mere liye aur kuch nahi hai ……."

Gulaal stops laughing when she sees Kesar looking at her with so much love. "kya hua Kesar?tum itne chup kyun ho?"

Kesar replies "kuch nahi Gulaal,I think mujhe ab chalna chahiye na…"

Gulaal comes to him and hugs him tightly no longer worrying about the haldi "bas ek aur din Kesar phir kabhi humein is tarah se judaa nahi hona padega".

Kesar holds on to her burying his face in the crook of her neck and smiles "haan Gulaal,phir main tumhe kahin jaane nahi doonga aur agar tum kahin jaaogi bhi na tho main tumhare peeche peeche chalaa aaunga". And he goes on to hum the tune of the song "tera peecha na chodunga soniye,bhej de chaahe jail mein". Gulaal smiles against his shoulder and pushes him toward the balcony. "haan,haan jaanti hoon…….ab chalo,jaane ka waqt ho gaya.kal milte hain shaadi ke mandap pe.so bye".

Kesar: "theek hai,abhi tho main chala jaata hoon.lekin shaadi ke baad tum mujhse itni aasani se peecha nahi chuda sakti". And with a smile he goes down the ladder and quietly leaves the place without anyone noticing him.

The next day Gulaal wakes up very early. She is full of excitement and joy. This is the day of new beginnings; the start of a new life with her soulmate, Kesar. She quickly takes a bath and then goes to the puja room. She offers a silent prayer to God. After the pooja her sister and mother come upto her room to dress her up. Gulaal had wanted her bridal attire to be simple so she had chosen a simple red and cream colour saree and opted for very light jewellery. Poonam ba and Roopa look at her transfixed. She looked beautiful and this time there was no trace of doubt or nervousness. She looked absolutely confident and her face glowed with happiness. Just then the door opens and Revji comes in to inform them about the arrival of the baraat. Revji looks at his daughter and feels very emotional. The lively spark which he had thought was lost forever was back in her eyes and he knew it was all due to Kesar and his love. Revji thanks God silently and prays for her future happiness. Poonam and Revji go out to welcome Motaba and family. Roopa stays back with Gulaal to help her out doing some last minute adjustments to the saree and make-up.

After some time there's a knock on the door and to Gulaal's surprise it's Sudha bhabhi standing there. There's a tiny awkward silence before Gulaal invites her in "Sudha bhabhi,andar aayiye na.aap wahaan kyun khadi hain?"

Sudha enters the room with hesitant steps and says in a low tone "Gulaal,mujhe tumse kuch baat karni thi akele mein……agar tumhe koi aitraaz na ho tho".

Gulaal looks to Roopa who nods silently.

Roopa: "bhabhi,aap log baat kijiye.main Rewa aur Talli se mil leti hoon". She quietly leaves the room closing the door behind her.

Sudha takes a few steps forward but she avoids looking at Gulaal. She feels quite nervous but she needed to get it out so she starts speaking softly but with determination. "Gulaal,tum yehi soch rahi hogi ki main tumse ab kya baat karne aayi hoon.kahin phir se us din ki tarah……"

Gulaal tries to stop her "nahi bhabhi maine……."

Sudha: "Gulaal,aaj mujhe bolne do.maine us din tumse jo bhi kaha woh mujhe nahi kehna chahiye tha.maine sirf apne matlab ke liye tumhare mann ko dukh pahunchaaya.main tumse us din ke liye maafi maangna chahthi hoon.patha nahi Gulaal mujhe kya ho gaya tha.shaayad apni khaali zindagi se tang aa kar main doosron ki zindagi ke faisle le rahi thi.socha shaayad is tarah apne soonepan ko mitaa sakti hoon.lekin aisa nahi hotha na.jo maine tumhare saath kiya woh bahut bura tha.maine tumhare dard ko kam karne ke bajaaye use aur badhaaya.tumne hamesha mujhe apna dost samjha aur maine tumhe chot pahunchaaya".

Gulaal: "bhabhi,main maanti hoon aapki baaton ne mujhe pareshaan kiya tha lekin ab mere mann mein woh baatein koi maayane nahi rakhti.isliye aap bhi un baaton ko bhool jaayiye".

Sudha with tears in her eyes "Gulaal,tum bahut achi ho.agar tumhari jagah aur koi hotha tho shaayad mujhe kabhi maaf nahi karta.main tumse is waqt milne aayi kyunki shaadi ke baad main Talli ke saath apne maayke jaa rahi hoon.shaayad phir is tarah baat karne ka mauka na mile".

Gulaal: "yeh aap kya keh rahi hain Sudha bhabhi?"

Sudha: "haan Gulaal.main agar aur is jhoote rishte ko nibhaathi rahi tho apne aap se nazrein milaana mushkil ho jaayega.maine apni taraf se poori koshish ki is shaadi ko bachaane ki par taali sirf ek haath tho nahi bajti na……ab main apni zindagi apne liye jeena chahthi hoon.Is faisle se saalon baad main sachi khushi mehsoos kar rahi hoon.Gulaal,tum mujhse umar mein choti ho lekin tumse maine bahut kuch seekha hai.bas ab main bhi us puraani Sudha ko doondhna chahthi hoon jo ek chote sheher ki mamuli ladki thi."

Gulaal is stunned and overwhelmed and hugs Sudha trying to comfort her.

Sudha quickly wipes away her tears and says "main bhi kitni paagal hoon.aaj hi ke din tumse yeh saari baatein karni thi.par main aur kya karti Gulaal,bahut dino se mere mann mein yeh bhoj tha aur agar main tumse bina baat kiye chali jaati tho shaayad kabhi apne aap ko maaf nahi kar paati.Gulaal,main bhagwaan se yehi dua karungi ki tum aur Kesar hamesha khush raho.ab jaldi se aansoo ponch lo aur chalo neeche chalthe hain.sab tumhari raah dekh rahe honge khaas kar ki Kesar.patha hai kal se itna uthaavla ho raha hai…bechaara"

Gulaal blushes and then laughs along with Sudha. She was finally relieved-the small bit of uneasiness that she had in her mind regarding Sudha bhabhi had now completely disappeared. Talli, Rewa and Roopa come to the room to take her downstairs.

Rewa: "Gulaal,tum aaj bahut sundar lag rahi ho.patha nahi Kesar ka kya hoga?woh tho tumhe dekhkar behosh hi ho jaayega.waise hi jab dekho tumhe ghoortha rehta hai…."

Gulaal is completely embarrassed "Rewa……yeh tum kya……"

Talli: "haan Rewa bechaari ko tang math karo na.ab Gulaal ko tang karne ka haq sirf Kesar ka hai….kyun Gulaal" and then she breaks into a laugh and shares a Hi-fi with Rewa.

Sudha: "bas,bas ab jaldi se neeche le aao dulhan ko.sab intezaar kar rahe honge".

As Gulaal is brought down the stairs, everyone looks up at her.Motaba,Panba,Revji and Poonam ba feel very emotional and at the same time are very happy to see her look so radiant. Kesar just stares at her. Gulaal steals a glance at him and for a second forgets to breathe when she looks into his eyes. They were always so expressive and right now the love and concern along with an intense desire was so evident. She quickly looks away when she hears Rewa whisper "kaha tha na maine ki bechaare ka bura haal hoga.dekho tho kaise dekh raha hai".

Gulaal looks at Kesar and gives him a small smile and that brings him back to reality. He looks around for a second and gives her an embarassed smile as she comes and sits near him on the mandap. Soon the rituals start with Varmalas being exchanged, the ghatbandhan being tied and the kanyadaan. And then comes the time for the pheras. As the first phera is being taken with Gulaal in the front, a tiny piece of glass pricks her and she cries out in pain. Kesar immediately checks her foot and finds the culprit-it's a small piece of glass bangle. The panditji in the background speaks out "beta,pheron ke waqt nahi rukte.shubh nahi maana jaata. Gulaal looks at Kesar and silently nods indicating that she is all right. She tries to walk but it is quite painful. Kesar senses this and before she could say anything he picks her up in his arms and continues with the pheras. Everyone is surprised at first but soon they smile seeing his concern for her,some even clap and whistle finding the gesture quite romantic. Though Gulaal is slightly embarrassed, the moment she looks into his eyes she forgets everyone else in the room and holds on to him tightly with her arms around his neck. Each phera indicated a vow and they both silently said those vows to each other. They did not need to say anything. Their eyes spoke and their smiles understood every silent promise. After the pheras Kesar makes her sit gently and then sits beside her. The panditji says "beta ab is sindoor se dulhan ki maang bhar dijiye".

Kesar takes some of the sindoor and looks at Gulaal. The anticipation on her face makes him smile and when he puts the sindoor on her, she has tears in her eyes.

Panditji: "ab aap dono shaadi ke is pavitra rishte mein bandh chuke hain.aaj se aap dono pati patni hain.jeevan ke har utaar-chadaav mein,har such-dukh mein aap dono baraabar ke hissedaar honge.hamesha ek doosre ka khayaal rakhen aur bhagwaan kare aapke jeevan mein khushiyaan hi khushiyaan ho".

Kesar is overwhelmed, but at the same time he is not able to stop the thought pass across his mind " Gulaal meri patni hai……… She is my wife………ab use mujhse koi nahi cheen sakta.ab main use apne se door kabhi jaane nahi doonga". He looks to Gulaal who has a similar expression on her face and they both share a huge wide smile. The entire family joins in the celebration and clap for the happy couple.

There's a mixture of happiness and tears during the bidaai ceremony. Kesar and Gulaal take blessings from Revji and Poonam and other relatives before starting on their new journey. As Gulaal waves to her parents in the distance, she feels the onslaught of tears once again. She tries hard to stop the tears but they just don't stop. She did not understand the reason why she was feeling so emotional. Suddenly she feels Kesar taking her hand in his and this gesture makes her turn to him and look into his eyes. There's a small smile playing on his lips as he says "main jaanta hoon tumhe apne parents se door jaate hue bahut dukh ho raha hai.pichle kuch hafte tum unke saath rahi,ab achaanak se is tarah shaadi karke unse bichadna pad raha hai.tumhe shaayad yeh chintha satha rahi hogi ki tumhare aur Roopa ke jaane ke baad woh akele ho jaayenge.par Gulaal,tum bilkul tension math lo.hum dono unse milne aate rahenge.tum jab chaho main tumhe unse milvaane le jaaunga.aur phir woh bhi tho aayenge tumse milne.isliye ab rona bandh karo.theek hai". He wipes away her tears softly and kisses her hand gently.

Gulaal looks at Kesar in awe. How is it that Kesar was able to pinpoint the exact reason for her sadness when even she herself was finding it difficult to understand?

Suddenly a flash of memory passes through her mind- She had been nervous in the car and had looked towards Vasant with a small smile to ease her tension but instead she had been gripped with uneasiness when she looked at his almost scowling expression.

Gulaal comes back to the present where Kesar is looking at her with concern and a question in his eyes. She quickly reassures him "kuch nahin Kesar.mujhe bas kuch yaad aa gaya tha". She then holds to his arm and rests her head on his shoulder forgetting everything else.

As they reach home, the entire family was waiting for them at the entrance. Panba does the arti and asks Gulaal to enter the threshold. Gulaal lifts her right foot and gently taps the kalash. Then she looks to kesar who was beaming with happiness. She knew her face reflected the same joy.

Kesar looks at her and says "tho chalein Mrs.Kesar apni nayi zindagi ki aur"

Gulaal smiles widely and they both take their first step together towards their new life.

The starting session was so cute with Rewa's teasing and the following emotional convo between her and Gulaal, and Kesar witnessing all these in awe for his sister's matured air and the idea of showing Rewa as Gulaal's one of the greatest supports along with Kesar was just awesome; excellent characterization👏

The bidaai session was a bit emotional, but there too u managed to give Kesar a surprise in the form of Roopa😳

The haldi night was so romantic, Gulaal a little embarrassed even at the thought of he teasing her being filmy with her thoughts on him and here Kesar usse milne ke liye ladder se uski room tak climb karke aaya aur uski bed ke neeche khud ko chupaaya😲, mega filmy yaar😆..truly made for each other couple hein yeh😛 all his dialogues on haldi to her and esp that 'pyaar se haldi lagaana ' wala dialogue reminded me the scene in the show's haldi rasm, when he says similar words to her, while she hesitates in fear due to his revenge mode, though in a totally different context here. and of course the pheras had to be like that itself na...😳..then here comes Gullu's Kesar, who knows her mind better than herself😍...and I just loved the last dialogue of him where he literally welcomes her in to his life..A perfect END
