Jzee,Arre my post was for you, just something for you to read when you are taking rest😆I had no idea it would make you work 😭so sorry😭but I loved your post. You know Emma was the name that entered my mind when i saw her smile😡.the scene is cute due to Kesar and Kesar only😊loved him in it.Neil was good.I loved the way you talked about Kesar and his situation being similar to Talli in seeking out the "akelapan" for almost a decade😭

second scene ka explantaion was so good Jzee.wonderful read.and agree with you completely.

Hope you are feeling better now.please take take care😊

@Maz I so agree with you he never wanted to be Vasant, not for his family and never ever for Gulaal. He just wanted to be his own person and wanted his family to accept him as Kesar not Vasant's parchayi.with regards to Gulaal,I feel he always had that special place in her heart,it's just the way she perceived him changed and he did it all in his own Kesar style na..😳and its so true "pure and unadulterated love for Gulaal"-loved it

As a wise guy called Kesar showed us by example over and over again - resistance is a highly overrated virtue 😆 That's my lesson for keeps!!! Besides Galooling around is like a sworn panacea! ☺️

Caps will be up in a bit...I'm only capping the second exclusive GK scene, if no one minds...I think it had more interesting nuances to cap :-)

Caps :-)

The magic of the DOP in the beginning

The shock in her eyes to be caught in this unguarded moment of vulnerability by KESAR is interesting...ofcourse her first defensive reaction is to try and hide those tears...but the emotion in his eyes as he watches her *sigh*

'Tere yeh aansoo Vasant bha ke liye hain naa? Kyun chhupati hai inhein?'

It's one of the most beautifully treated relationships in this show...that there was never any resentment in Kesar...to him Gulaal always belonged to him and he knew that Gulaal loved Vasant madly...no two ways about it...there was nothing bitter in his heart about it...he respected and loved her more than ever FOR her love towards Vasant...

I love this cap...Gulaal in the foreground with tears shining in her eyes as she pulls out a smile and the way he watches her in the bg is just beautiful

He can so see through her attempts at 'yeh toh khushi ke aansoo hain'

This transition is just so poignant

This moment is heartbreakingly beautiful...his attempt to console her ever so softly and he is unable to bridge that gap...he's always so one with her pain

This bit was just beautifully shot...as he walks away but can't help but look back at her and you can see how her pain, her tears are slicing through him in this bit

Then hero gets an IDEA sirji😆...'shaam ko tayyar rehna, Gulaal'...and they played that awesome cool Kesar tune here too...lol

When I first watched this scene, it touched me so much, how the layers of his character worked. How it warmed him inside to watch the Gulaal who married his brother harbor this loyalty for Vasant; and how at the same time, his own concern for her was a man's concern for a woman he loves. The seamless blend of those two roles, where he should feel overwhelmed by his brother's wife's love for his brother, and his own love for her - without one of the two interfering or contradicting the other - such purity of his emotions -

Beautifully put, Jzee👏👏👏...and indeed that is what I still marvel at no matter how many times I watch this story...honestly it's not like there haven't been characters before in a 'second chance at love' story where the second character respects the love for the first...but in Kesar's case...he's in a league of his own...he really is...like you said, those two roles, thought processes inside co-exist so seamlessly...he is emotional on BOTH levels...over her love for Vasant and his own love and concern for HER...neither interfering with the other...it's just amazing...love love love the writing in this show like anything.

This scene is also a prime example of how to have just the right amount of dialogues to convey something without going overboard...that's all he says...one line...'yeh aansoo Vasant bha ke liye hain naa...kyun chhupati hai inhein?'...he doesn't launch into a lecture about Vasant's greatness or praising Gulaal's selfless love for him etc. etc... that one line is enough to convey EVERYTHING...and really touch you.

Beautiful caps Nur!

Love all the shots, very touching scene...that Kesar tune is such a hero tune..hehe.. what I like about this idea of his to cheer her up is that, though he cannot undo the sadness she is facing without Vasant here at this point, he at least attempts to wipe away the tears he brought to her recently by not taking her to hey maika the other day...he is giving her that choti choti khushiyan like Talli pointed out previously..

LOL I loveee that tune...in the early days when I was still catching up on the scenes initially, I used to wait to hear this tune in any scene they played it in😆...talk about being reeled in bit by bit...the music, the direction, the acting...until you are hopelessly in love with it all😆

Yeah I agree with you about the fact that they showed this idea...so nicely written in...they didn't make it cliched...they showed his yearning to want to wipe away those tears, to console her...but something still holds him back from being FULLY himself...still he wants to bring a smile on her face...so he instantly connects back to what he took away from her a few days back and decides to give her THAT...bit by bit...and then again things change...he's such a tempestuous character...damn fascinating to watch his thoughts, his actions based on each turn in the story.

You're welcome, Mini...I loved those two as well...especially the first one for how it almost seems to seamlessly merge all three of them...mainly toh it's Kesar merging into Vasant's image but Gulaal seems a part of it always.

On another note, Kesar's line about 'tu kyun chhupati hai in aansuon ko' made me think of the contrast back to the 'aur tu' scene very soon after he comes back...hardly even a month back in the timeline of the show...interesting contrast...there also she was hiding her tears, he knew she was hiding her tears...but he has a smile...that 'this is so you' smile...

And here, her pain just slices through him...he is unable to bear those tears of hers that she hides...something she always does...it's also a transition in showing the progress from that Kesar to this...how his walls are down now and he actually verbalizes the thought that was probably always in his head...'why do you hide these tears'?? Kesar being Kesar will say it in the simplest, most straightforward manner he has.
