Thank you again for reading my posts, and liking my first ever siggy
I hope so too, but like i said - i dont think we will ever see something like this again esp the essense of the pre KG days with Ali-Manasi and getting that unique bond across, child artist and an actress

^^ So true - Like I said on another post (I think VJ's) the Ali-Mansi phase has entirely revolutionized and redefined the term 'chemistry' on quite another level! They were adorable - but you could easily sense the love strains in making all along...

I know we won't get a show like this nor a bond like this ever again and frankly I don't want one!! Because Kesar-Gulaal are too unique to be repeated again.

Primarily it was a love story which began with a child and an adult which had to be told in the most careful way. If you look at it from a distance then you will automatically feel disgust but when you actually bother to watch it...there is NOTHING which can close to this show :)

I just wish we could get more quality on Indian TV... for a country with so many layers to its history and heritage - how difficult is genuine inspiration for creative fiction?!

And honestly - there are an average of 40% shows on TV which start off with a theme that can be potential! They just lose it along the way, mostly too soon to hold you back for even enough weeks! And no offense but the substandard 'good looking' actors are really no good to creating that grip. Mansi was just a little off on her Friday performance - like just a tad and one single day, and even the GK scene was different! That's how much difference good acting makes! And good is not about a face to swoon on - wo bonus me mil jaye, to I'm all for it 😆

So the opening GK scene on Thursday ?! The Toffee scene?! I don't feel so strongly about Wednesday and Thursday in retrospect obviously... but Gullu was hard to connect to that day... for me... The toffee scene was just random. even in writing - like toffee kahan se agayi pata hi nahin! Anjali mentioned it could have been so much nicer if they'd done maybe imli - and I agree... I was like if they had to be uber creative they could have done a new dress for Champa from the kaarkhana ... but toffee?!

And then - you know, Gulaal accepting and eating both candies was fine. But when you compare the subtlety that passes her eyes in observation, and empathy of Kesar's heart - from the mandir scene when she 'asks' for flowers, and takes them... as opposed to this scene... its like we have two scenes shown in reverse order in terms of Gullu's progress of emotion! Even when PooBaa was telling Rewa how Gullu's routine is all off because she's just withering away pinning for Kesar - it was after getting almost 2 episodes of strangely unfeeling Gulaal... didn't fit for me there...

Friday bounced back so well for me, that Thursday, and esp wednesday, just became like missing a step while climbing down stairs! So you lose balance, but catch hold of something and then you're back!

Oh toffee scene. I need to watch that scene again because I felt it was random too but then out of nowhere I ended up smiling as well 🤣 So yeh...will get back to you on that :P

Ooo you know I read that some of us here thought the dream of KG laughing felt random and like a waste of a 'dream'?! I saw it straight on tv and thought it was niiice simply because it felt quite realistic our dreams never really make sense and it was interesting to see how they were both on their own outside the Talsagra house...laughing. Our deepest desire usually involves something that makes us truly happy and that's what her dream depicted.

Nur thought it was a waste - because A) Gulaal was so hard to connect with those two days, and B) because there was so much in their history to link back to, why show a scene that's so never seen or felt when the connection is already so dire!

I personally thought the dream itself was pretty. Like a futuristic vision - the way you're saying, of her true desire... But like Nur - the lack of connectivity I felt just ruined what would have come to me as a simple and subtle point put across on another day. Everything was just put together in those 2 days like pieces of jigsaw placed one up or down wrongly... there were kinks- and the hard to ignore kind... I think the problem is, as audience of this show, we always expect them to touch that mark - and when they lapse, especially at critical points like the finale week... its just hard to be relenting just then, lol! Its our true lowe for the show, that makes us get so mad at any lapse... we tend to go Kesar in showing our 'lowe' ... gusse par kaabu nahin rehta🤣 And then we sit back in retrospect and feel bad about it, and go all Kesar - pata nahin main tujhpar shaq kese kar sakta tha - type 🤣
