Kinks here and there - but no complains!

The build up for GK confession was extremely well scripted, and the scene itself met all the standards and much more!

I totally agree, normally when a show ends things are rushed and loose ends but with Gulaal the finale was extremely well done. It did not disappoint.

Thanks for a brilliant post JZephyr. I haven't had a chance to watch the epi but now I can't wait to watch it. I've been reading all your analysis posts and they are brilliant. I'm gonna miss this forum and Gulaal as it's one of the best dramas from its concept to it's production and execution. I am really happy that they tied up all loose ends unlike many other dramas which leave you with questions. I'm going to miss seeing NB and MP and its gonna take a while to get used to the fact that at 9 o'clock gulaal will no longer be on

Bit late I guess now for a discussion maybe.. but its a long weekend here in London, hence lots of things n places to go... I haven't had much times to really sit down and even think about the show... except when I took out time to watch it...

I need a few re-watches to be able to make complete sense of it.. but, yes what I want to say now is that you made a brilliant post Jzee... will come back to it tomo... if you care to talk over the show maybe laterz... enjoy being back to work...

So happy that ended well! Ended up doing what they set out to do right from the beginning and that, in our soap industry, is no mean feat.
Also, thanks to Star Plus for treating the serial well in spite of the marching orders. They gave them decent time, gave them a mahaepi to go out with a bang with. Imagine if they'd got shunted to another slot or were told to wrap up in a week or something!

And mosy satisfactory, so happy happy!

I still can't believe that this show is actually over... sob sob..😭

Well, I had some time, and I used it wisely to rewatch my favourite confession scene so many times now... Oh, the sheer hope on Kesar's face when he sees Gulaal crying and trying to hold him back... it was just too brilliant. I was so mesmerised that I couldn't stop myself from smiling everytime I watched it. He emoted brilliantly, the surprise on his face turning to incredulity that this is his Gulaal in his arms... Man, that moment was just out-of-the-world... and then sheer happiness and ecstasy that his impossible dream has been fulfilled finally...

Oh, yes, the side hug was sooo super cute. Man, this shameless guy, hugging his biwi in front of his whole family.. bhai, ye abhi bhi Talsagra gaon hai... 😳

Well, this was the first show which I had to stop watching coz its over, else its always been that I have lost interest in the show as its been dragged for ages or has lost the original story line, and made a complete hash of it. I used to watch PR religiously for a long while initially, and then with leaps, and more leaps, the original story was so lost that it wasnt like watching the same show anymore. I didnt even have any regret about not watching it when I decided to...

This one felt sooo soon in its closure, it needed more time ... time to appreciate the show, and fall more in love with the characters, see more of them, have fun with them.. and so much more... sigh !!!🄺

I won't repeat myself here but dude I saw the episode on TV finally and I felt SO overwhelmed during the confession. The emotions were just overflowing :(

There's so much to say but I think it'll be better to have a convo when you're here ;)

Where's Nur and Lennie btw?? Did they not like the episode??šŸ¤”

Minks - @ your red bit - how true how true! Would I sound insane if I said I played that scene on repeat on my media player in the BG while working at school today?! The dialogs are going round and round in my head now, I'll probably dream of them šŸ˜† Oh I'm such an obsessed teen all over again *gushes*

@Pink - the side hug was SO simply and subtly done, like I missed it first time! And then I saw it next and I was like HAILA! 😲 Abi se openly claims and all ā˜ŗļø We did get a brilliant and very content closure to the whole GK story... there is however a tiny part of me, which itches and wonders - what GK as a couple would be like... I know we've seen them as a couple in so so many ways - but just the mundane way, like usual couples who haven't seen so much action in their story are? Basically - both in public acceptance mode of it?! Oh I miss these two! So Very Much!
