Jzee: I think we get too filmy at times 🤣 You know all this build up is making my expectations for the confession sky-high. I really hope we don't get disappointed because it has to be something extraordinary to justify the bond they share.

GANGA! Bang on girl..! Honestly, if SF thinks KG are really happy together then why would Gulaal feel Vasant's absence? That is so unfair to say to Kesar. The guy already accepts and respects Gulaal's emotions towards Vasant anyway. No-one can be more understanding than Kesar is so why say all this? On one side you assume that KG are happily married and on the other you say Gulaal still misses her ex-husband. It's NOT fair :(

Word. I think that was it - we might have lived with the little GK moment and some really fruitful Dushyant space - if we hadn't been riding high on the ME. AND, if they hadn't shown Talli's FBs! That was horrid. I hate these dual signs the CVs keep giving us. With Dulli dashed to the ground, and Raman's messing around in Talli's wedding - I want Kesar to stay far far far far away from Talli. And her thoughts.

If Talli is planning to create any drama can she just do it now and show her insecurities because if she does anything on the wedding day I will ufeoiahgeioah her!

A part of me just wants her to turn evil for good. Not evil evil but just accept that she isn't 'happy' seeing GK together.

It's sad but I like the whole lovers v rest of the world thaang 😛 Because I am certain that GK will unite, I don't mind seeing these complications beforehand. It just makes things more interesting!

She doesn't understand the idea behind SD's will - as SD tried to explain, it was for the future. Anything left to Raman will never reach the next morning, forget the next generation - and Dushyant is such an obvious form of sworn bachelor. She isn't doing this for MB, or Kesar, or even Gulaal - she is truly doing this for the next generation - of course, if she secretly knows about the DV, then her motive for framing such a will is many times greater. JK doesn't look beyond the idea of we are secondary till MB's family exists. Which is not the case here, at least.

The truth of GK'S DV will come out infront of SD that we know, because isnt that's what the article said..? but in terms of whom to give property to, SD would still give it to Gk after she will understand what actually occured bewteen the two. And in that way she will some how help them out. And i also think Jk indirectly giving purposal t for kesar will going to hurt gulaal this time, because no matter how she had avoided the circumstances before, the discourse about her future with kesar, those things will not going to work this time because she will face uncomforts and this might be the step forward towards her realization..one way or the other Jk's plan will still be in favor of gulaal and kesar's union.
So are we assuming all these events happening one after the other, includng dushyants mystery is pre planned by the cv's and that gulaal to end in 22 episodes..?Confused
as far as dushyant is concern, i dont see his truth coming out that early, and i am assuming that this story will not end soo soon...!?
oh i pray for this seria to not end so soon..!

@Ganga - long time!!! I hope your work is beginning to pace down!

Anyway - as for Dulli angle - I don't think we ever said it was the 'feasible' thing to happen. We were always talking about the scope it offered in its wake for the innate complications. TBH, while on the one hand it may seem impossible to imagine GK allowing that wedding to happen - on the other hand, a really desperate scenario might impose exactly that same Gulaal to give her nod to Dulli. She has never found it in her heart to forgive Dushyant, as she once said, but she does trust him completely, even blindly now. We don't know how drastic the turning of tables will be in Talli's wedding showdown. Although, the pace of Dushyant catching o Raman's trail, especially today, seems to indicate he will prevent the worst from happening. Dulli look out of question now anyway. And its not like this engagement will see the last of Talli. She's still going to hang around our doomsday, because Kunal is going to city after the engagement... 🤢 So yeh... let's see what's in store for us tomorrow - I think we'll get past some high end Raman & Dushyant and wedding drama tom! Just maybe Yogesh.

As for SD mentioning Vasant - there's a point after which I'm just groaning! Yes, the house once faced the loss, and yes, such losses are irreplaceable in a sense but have they any idea what they doing to their second son?! Like they didn't pick him off the streets or something, did they?! Sometimes, when JK rants about Vasant's position being biased in the house, I almost want to agree. He's long gone - but the inmates of this house will not stop seeking him in every other generation - Kesar, and then his whenever to come progeny! I wish she'd said something more like Gulaal's life is filled with color thanks to Kesar now, but a child will complete the picture... or complete for her, what her first marriage could not. It would make 10X more sense. I might just have then sustained her other statement about seeking a glimpse of Vasant in the baby ... because beliefs of rebirth in Hinduism run like that! But geez, at the unrelenting Vasant chant in this house! It's plain wrong to Kesar. Even if he wasn't Gulal's husband, they had no business sidelining him all the time like he doesn't exist in a person of his own, but only as a shadow of his long gone ideal brother.

I think Saru Phui has been mentioned to be a very old fashioned lady, correct? I guess that is why she brought in the Vasant angle...cuz it was a very awkward thing to say otherwise...and none of the other elders in the house would ever bring it up in THAT manner even if KG were together in that sense I think...but Saru Phui is being shown as being very sentimental over Vasant's memory and the old fashioned lady that she is, this is how she chooses to put her views forth on what KG's child would mean...

Many times in the epi we see how she dotes on Gulaal...worries about her...saying stuff like, "poor girl got such a huge blow dealt to her so young in life"...that kind of stuff...I think this is how old women in village think in general...it's that mindset.

That's a more unprejudiced way of looking at things, agreed 😆

but like I said in the end, even if this wasn't about GK - I'm totally anti the way they put Kesar into shadows! His entire life is about proving himself - just because he's born second in tow... To his ladylove, to his family, to the village, at work... everywhere! It's never about 'his success', its always about Kesar measured against the Vasant yardstick. Plain wrong.

If they ever want him to actually step into Vasant's shoes - they need to allow him that space. One of the best things about Gulaal and his bond - minus the love angle - are those times when she's motivating him to be a better man, just a better man, not a better version of Vasant. Like that other day when she was telling him to check his temper?! I wish Kesar got more guidance in that form! How long will he be the giver in every relation?- even if he himself doesn't seem to perceive it like that... in his head.

Okay, so turning a third angle evil, IMO, is the easiest way to get rid of that angle... and in a way, less credible than reality. A third angle is most often more unfortunate than evil - as is Talli (even if I hate to admit this) because he inner demons are no easier dealt with than GK themselves. Dushyant as third angle was almost the only one responsible for his miserable fate; Talli, at least partly suffers purely from Gulaal and Sudha's joint foolishness!

Problem is she can run away from the problem - and GK - and make us happy. Or live with it, face it, get over it and move on - which would be too much Talli in GK space, so no thank you!

But I doubt she'll turn pure evil - her character hasn't been charted like that, IMO

Jzee, waise do you remember the time when Gulaal herself said that Kesar is another roop of Vasant? That Vasant's aatma resides inside Kesar...she said this to Dushyant once... I've been rewatching the April epis and there are some interesting bits that get me thinking...some dialogues especially...lol

I agree in general that Kesar is NOT Vasant...and shouldn't be expected to be either...but I think what Saru phui was talking about was wanting some essence of Vasant's to come back to the house in any form...this is how old fashioned village women think I guess...so to her, since Kesar is Vasant's brother, his child would in essence continue the lineage...or whatever angle they can think of. Personally I just find the baby talk awkward :S
