The title is pretty self explanatory, I think! 😆 Not the most gush-a-ble-over Monday, but well...
For the nth time - we need the old PB back - this one is such an outsider to the show!
But that should be among the last things to mention today - prime being Dulli?! Is it happening or not?! Talli beta?! 🤣 ... tere Dushyant bha ka promise! 😆 Thank God Kesar never called Gulaal 'bhabhi' 😆 But on a serious note - the extent of Dushyant's involvement today looked all about Dulli - then out of no where we got Dushyant's bha roopemerging to the fore, and bam! Clueless!
GK :( Such an 'under-dose' of those two! Was it me, or did the first scene - the declaration of the will - stretch a bit? Like not as bad as half the shows on TV, but too much camera work on showing us same expressions again and again? I got a bit tired there ... I mean, yeh its this big deal news but still. I liked the subtle hints of GK in it though. SD's mention of Vasantka ghaav for Gulaal - and Kesar's instant looking up to see her reaction (oh bless him, even when he's reeling from blistering barnacle breaking news - he remembers to worry about Gulaal as a priority). Then there was this bit when Gulaal almost looked towards Kesar like she hoped he would say something... but he was too scandalized by SD's aakhri itchcha 😆 Okay I exaggerated, he wasn't scandalized today - nothing along the lines of chiii, he was truly and only worried about A) Gulaal - obviously, and B) to some extent, about giving false hope to SD. Then the moment Gulaal starts on asking SD to reconsider for such a big decision, Kesar jumps in with his word! It's like ... she just had to kickstart - and he's at it... Special pat on the back to SD to play her trump card - kya pata kitni zindagi hai... aakhri itchcha... Vasant laut aaya - boy! She went bam bam bam on them, didn't she?! 😆 I was like a Jordan phangurl on the sidelines rooting basket after basket 😆 And of course, one more pat on her back, to not back off from her word. She wants a GK heir - implies she wants a GK heir. Period. Btw - I feel yet more convinced that she has a fair idea about the DV situation. It's just a little incredible the way she gets everything rolling in the direction of bringing GK together. Like everything!
Oh and JK - I still love you, evil woman! 😆 You can't but help be the cupid can you?! Gulaal's suhag nishaani did reach home hallelujah - courtesy you! She's totally raring to go for the big pada faash moment - but honestly even if SD has no bloody idea about the DV, this will still be good for GK. As long as Gulaal doesn't know that she doesn't have to 'act' like a wife - we're all good 😆
The bhindi chopping scene - boy, he's always lurking around looking out for her, isn't he?! Another show, another scene, the hero would walk in on a bleeding ladylove for damage control, patti et al! Kesar believes in precaution over cure 😆 I love the way he saved her a finger chop, gave her an earful, asked her the problem, then answered it for her and pulled her away with him despite her protests! Kesar in control is SO 😎 And I like how this situation is playing out - with Gulaal being the one insisting on keeping the obligatory pretense, while Kesar is all prepared to just say the truth. She's going to have to sit down and think one of these days - exactly how limitless his do-for-her-sake spirit is! He could easily be the one taking his last chance with her, under this forced 'acting' - but heck, that isn't Kesar. He's freaking out almost a tad more than her, about what she's facing in the situation. And I can't help thinking, with every line that Gulaal speaks in that short GK dialog debating telling/not telling SD the truth, of how her philosophy in dealing with things has not changed one single bit. It is exactly what she has been doing for a decade about Vasant's murder secret. One of these days, Kesar might actually come to that realization - when he isn't so preoccupied with how much she's suffering in this pretense.
More hate for PB in the SD/JK/PB scene. The more I had to look at her as opposed to the distant and silent sneak peak at GK in the distance the more I hated her. JK manages to Galool-o-fy her wicked plan in G favor, as always. [Oh btw, that scene among JK, Giga and Raman needs to get recorded in Giga's active contribution moments of the show - which are count few. Just like PB. Sometimes I think those two should have been married 😆 but before my thoughts beat the already paapi fundas of this house, I'll stop 😆 ]
Why were we subjected to that last Talli's flashes down the memory lane?! Oh which reminds me - its a miracle Talli didn't pass out at meal time with so MUCH talk of GK's baby 😆 Did you see her face?! Oh, of course you did - they couldn't stop focusing on her every few seconds! 🤢 Anyway - Reva is here, and spots Talli's tear who makes up some glib excuse about Sudha, and blah - we get a diabetic moment. Skip skip skip. I thought the Dushyant scenes on the episode were actually pretty neat. At meal time with that bombastic breaking news - there was that slight slight slight variation in his expression from before Gulaal tries to protest with SD, to after. Which reminds of our discussion on Dushant's reaction to GK coming together. Its like just for the initial moments, he's as stumped as everyone else, and justtt a flickering of expression in his impassionate face betrays him - then Gulaal speaks up, and Kesar in tow - and he's like the rest. Unable to counter SD, but knowing facts too well. (Or so he thinks). Dushyant even made the Talli scene so much more bearable. Despite the dashed hopes of Dulli - at least half of me has gone off to party for Dushyant's safety 😆 Over all, the bill scene, the magnet test for authenticity ... everything - Dushyant makes excellent content for screen space - second only to GK.
Btw - If I was JK, I would not test Gulaal's but Kesar's patience to keep the secret. Honestly! She knows nothing about Gulaal, if she expects her to blab the truth herself. The only impulsive way it can ever happen is through Kesar (with like less then 0.5% chance, because Gulaal has instructed him to comply) ... but just in case Gulaal's limit is pushed too much more in his presence, just maybe Kesar will jump at the cue. If JK doesn't accomplish her purpose by then. AND, if SD doesn't already know the big deal - despite her show otherwise.
Oh well. Too much drama dedicated to Talli. And again, the opening scene was somewhat drag. Almost unexpected from a show coming to close in 2 weeks - oh I'm just being hopelessly hopeful - because Anjali says I should learn the Ostrich trick from Gulaal 😆
