next day panba calls pundit pundit say the marriage ceremony can be held within a week span ……panba calls poonam

poonam request panba to let marriage ceremony take placee thorugh Bengali culture and tradition….as gulaal was their only daughter they wanted to bid farewell with their tradition …panba who was a mother herself agrees ….

wedding preparation started in both houses ………best wedding planner, caterer jewellers, fashion designers were hired 200 guest were invited to grace the occassion….gulaal and vasant invited dushaynt …but he made an excuse as he had valid reason to do so….one more person was unhappy with this marriage….kesar

its mehendi night everyone is in gulaal's house except kesar….. kesar is sitting on the edge of mountain cliff with sonu and Vicky his car is parked beside they are drinking beer and munching patoto chips

sonu said "yeh kya ho gaya yaar tu ab tu kya karega"

kesar is quiet he throws stone aimlessly

Vicky" jiski shakal ek min bhi nahi dekhi jaati use zindagi bhar jhelna hoga "

Sonu" wo teri bhabhi ban kar aa rahi hai "

Kesar still throws stone

Sonu is frustrated "arey to kya kar raha hai yaar patthar kyu phekh raha hai"

Kesar" to kya karu tum dono ko uthaa kar phek du"

Sonu "par hum to"

Kesar" dekh beer peeni hai beer pi, chips khane chips kha dimaag mat kha"

Tiya calls kesar

Kesar picks phone "haan bolo"

Tiya asked "longdrive par chale icecream khaane"

Kesar "nahi jaana agar tumhe beer peene ho to aa sakti ho"

Tiya "what"

Kesar puts the phone

Vasant calls him

Kesar "ji vasantbha"

Vasant "kanha hai tu "

Kesar "mein frn k saath hun"

Vasant" par aaj mehendi k rasm hai na hum sab gulaal k yanha hai"

Kesar " par mein kya karunga waha mujhe mehendi to nahi lagegi aap jao"

Vasant "chupchap aja samjha"

Vasant ends the call

Kesar said "sonu aur Vicky chal uske ghar jaana hai"

Sonu "par hum log kyu chale"

Kesar said angrily "joute khane ho to bakwaas kar"

Vicky said to sonu "chal sonu….. bhai bahut tension mein hai"

Vasant is sitting next to gulaal……gulaal is wearing a green lehenga a beautician is putting mehendi on her hand

Vasant is little tensed

Gulaal" kya hua "

Vasant "kesar khush nahi lag raha hai"

Gulaal know y but still ignored and said "nahi aisa kuch nahi hai abhi naya naya rishta banene jaa raha hai ishayad islye thodha akward feel kar raha ho"

Vasant "mein kesar ko janta hun who bahut asani se logo se ghul mil jaata hai pat nahi abhi kya ho gaya hai "

Girls who were dancing on wedding songs asked gulaal to dance with them

Gulaal refused But girls forces and takes her

Gulaal starts dancing and soon she is lost in her dance she dance really fast suddenly she slip and falls in arm of kesar who has recently entered her house Kesar and gulaal looked at each other and then kesar saw his white shirt…its imprinted with gulaal mehendi…he can see the two hand imprints in his shirt gulaal saw the imprint and then looked at her menhendi its completely ruined she is disappointed ...and kesar is disgusted

one of the elder woman said yeh to bahut bura hua mehendi ko bigadana nahi chahiye

Kesar doesn't say a word and leave

Vasant looks at gulaal who is in tears as her mehendi is spoiled…..vasant said koi baat nahi jab tak mein hu darne k jarurat nahi

At night gulaal is looking at her mehendi that is completely spoilt and vasant name is erased from her hand

Mirya comes to her and say " I know tum kya soch rahe ho "

Gulaal "kya"

Mirya "kesar k bare mein "

Gulaal "nahi …mein nahi soch rahi….. though she was thinking about kesar and her first meeting ……she continued kesar k bare mein kuch nahi sochna … mein us baat ko bhul jaana chahti hun "

Mirya " par kya kesar bhul jayega"

This question really bothers gulaal but.she was blank at the moment...

Kesar was standing in the terrace quietly looking at sky vasant came there

Vasant said kesar "kya baat hai tum chup kyu ho"

Kesar quickly changes his mood "arey vasantbha mujhe nahi aapko chup rehene k practice karni chahiye shaadi aapki ho rahi hai"

Vasant smiles "sach baata koi baat nahi hai"

Kesar ofcourse vasantbha bus ajkal sab itna jaldi jaldi ho raha hai isliye fursat nahi mil rahi……ap to groom ho saara kaam mujhse karavaya jaata haina bas thodhe se thakan hai

Vasant is convinced kesar is unhappy but he cant hurt vasant so he is pretending to be happy

It's a wedding day and diaba jamuna kaki gigak devika have arrived from talsagra

Vasant and panba greets diaba and touches her feet

Diaba said to vasant "kyu re vasant tujhe shaadi karni thi to mujhe batata mein talsagra k ladkiyon k line lagwa deti "

Vasant and panba were embarrassed as they knew intercaste marriage is not easily accepted……vasant was about to say something but kesar intervene

Diaba " apko line lagana hai to mere peeche lagayi jitney ladkiyon se kaho utni se shaadi kar lunga I don't mind " and then touches her feet and hug her tightly

Kesar is youngest family member and everyone loves him dearly

Diaba "ladki bengali hai"

Kesar "acha to hai hubby gujarati bolege aur biwi Bengali dono ko kuch samajh nahi aayega aur jhagda bhi nahi hoga"

Jamuna kaki says in between "par humare khandan mein kabhi prem vivaah nahi hua humare yanha bado k kehna mana janta hai……… shaadi se pehle ladka aur ladki ek dusare ko dekhte bhi nahi hai…..hamesha se aisa ho raha hai yanha tak devika ki sagai bhi humne kar di aur abhi tak ladka aur ladki ek dusare ko jaante bhi nahi hai"

Kesar said "aur jamuna kaki devika ko dikhana bhi nahi …..nahi to ladka kabhi talsagra nahi aayega…… kyu gigaka mein theek kah raha hoona"

Gigaka laughed as he understood what kesar actually wanted to say ….and somewhat jamuna kaki also got the hint so she decided to keep quiet as its difficult to deal with kesar

Devika hears what kesar said and say "acha mujhe dekh kar bhaag jayega abhi batati hu tujhe" and she runs after him

Everyone laughs and get back to their work

Kesar unwillingly attends all pre wedding function like haldi rasm and pagdi rasm of vasant

In eveining vasant is dressed up in a bengali attire and other family member dressup in the best attire and journey to gulaal's house where the wedding is gonna take place…..kesar rewa devika dances crazily and burst crackers everyone is happy and vasant is happiest of all

The baraat arrives at bride's home. As they arrive, the younger members of the bride's family barricade the entrance to the venue, demanding money from the vasant in return for allowing him to enter. There is a bargaining between groom and the bride's family members on the amount of money of the admission.

Gulaal on the other hand is getting ready she is looking extremely beautiful in red banarasi saree The veil covers her hair and the mukut is placed on her head. Her friends and close relatives trace the design of the mukut with the help of chandan paste.

Vasant comes in the mandap he take off his mojiris outside the mandap

Rewa ask kesar to keep eye on mojiri

Kesar is confused he asked "kyu"

Rewa said " mojiri chori ho sakti hai"

Kesar said "to pehle batana tha na mein slipper pehen k aata ab mein kya karu"

Rewa reply " teri mojiri nahi idiot vasantbha ki ……gulaal bhabhi k sister chura sakti hain…… rasm hoti hai"

Kesar understood he take off his moiri as well next to vasant mojiri

Gulaal sister came in the mandap they see kesar and one of the girl starts flirting with kesar ….kesar also talks to her in cheerful manner

Rest of the girl goes to steal vasant mojiri and in confusion picks kesar mojiri….

Kesar looks at his mojiri and runs after the girl saying" yeh meri mojiri hai "but girls could not listen him in such loud music

Gulaal is waiting in her room infront of dressing table ….. poonam enters and ask gulaal to cover her face with beetel leaf

Gulaal asked "kyu maa"

Poonam replied "kyunki ab tumhara chehra sabse pehle tumhara dulha dekhega"

Here gulaal sister enters her room and hides kesar's mojiri

Gulaal looks at them smile and then hide her face with beetel leaf

Suddenly door open with a bang

Gulaal uncover her face……….truns around and see kesar is standing ….

Kesar has come there in search of his mojiri he stares gulaal and both are uneasy to see each other

Kesar walks away……and gulaal is still disturbed as its kesar is first person to see her ….

Gulaal frns and brothers enter her room for saat paak and maala badal ceremony

Kesar is still searching his mojiri bare footed

Finally gulaal and vasant are in the mandap gulaal is seated in lower wooden stool taken by brother and she performs seven pheras around vasant

Afterwards vasant and gulaal are get ready for mala badal

Kesar who gave up his search for his mojiri looks at vasant mojiri and he reaches the mandap and the moment vasant and gulaal exchanged garland of flower... kesar steps into vasant mojiri and walks away
