They were perfect while they lasted which is why if they had just continued with GV then there would be no story to tell. They fell in love quite quickly, they had their happy days but it had to end some day. Vasant was a straight forward man but they didn't ever really show layers to his characters like they have with Kesar. They're not supposed to be compared even though there is a constant comparison between the two.

so now to come in terms vth a guy like kesar who z far from perfection is quite diffficult fr her

I think thats one of the fascinating aspects to this story. Gulaal fell in love with the perfect man which goes in sync with her character. She's always been a woman who does the 'right' things yet somehow she is getting consumed by the imperfect man.

was just going through vasant gulaal scenes as i was curious enough to know why gulaal is behaving da way she z.

i had no idea about her chemistry vth vasant bt guys lemme admit aftr watching those scenes i felt gulaal so justified in her every action specially the reaction she showed after kesars love confession

der chemistry was too too good.they looked like made for each other like a perfect couple where gulaal was bubbly,lively young gal n vasant ..a complete man who no doubt loved gulaal so much bt neva denied his responsibiteez also n cared fr evrybdy.he was so good.

kesar is good in his own way but wen i put myslf in gulaals place

it looks quite difficult to feel love fr ds young man aftr sharing a strong bond vth a man lik wat vasant was.

but den evrything is going perfect as per da storyline n it seems kesgul r nt potrayed as a perfect couple rather two very incomplete people,hurt n wounded souls brought together by fate to heal each other.

i myslf m a great fan of kesgul n greatly moved by kesars love fr gulaal but yaar it brought tears in my eyes wen i watched vasant n gulaal together...dey wer so perfect.

But the thing is it has been years that she and Vasant were 2geder, normally even if the a person doesnt forget his love time reduces the impact of such a strong feeling andd emotion
