If you want to torture yourself till tomorrow...

Go watch the Pheras between Vasanth and Gulaal on 24th Nov. In the 2nd half he explains the meaning of each...

The vow of loyalty is the 3rd one - there are 4 of them...

So 2 questions till now:

Is the Deeyarvattu to a minor still a marriage? If the community supported it initially why did they forget it today for a man? Would they have done it for a woman?

Are unfinished pheras still a marriage? According to the Rig Vedas no. but the Rig Veda also has a commentary on all types of marriages. Sindoor and mangasutra are after the pheras.

Oh Thank God the mangalsutra and sindoor are after pheras!
