TALLI almost made me cry, not because of her acting but the sheer fact that she EXISTS irritates me to no end. I hate how she follows Kesar around like a chipkoo!

🤣

Talli annoyed me too! She's everywhere! To the point that it becomes scary...Thank God she wasn't with Kes-Gul on the terrace. If she happened to be there as well....! 😡

LMAO!!! She comes out of nowhere and I'm like 'here we go again', miss constantly-on-the-laughing-gas is here! Very annoying!

Something just makes me think that it was never meant to be Vasant and Gulaal anyway. It's not like they had the most amazing love story, it was short-lived and for a reason...Kesar and Gulaal!

Reemz you have got the emotions right on Gul-Kesar, and like you say if though mos tppl think maha-episode i dont needs to be something spectular to be it was in the sense what i expected the mahaepisode to do it did that, like you say it tugs your heart and quite a few times it did esp Manasi - she so awesome in all her scenes, esp the one where she speaking along to Vasant........
And i so agree with you that Gulaal feels even more alone the before with how Kesar is being, i said this before i think on tuesday's episode where we finally saw the scene where Kesar and Gul meet for the first time for so long, to me i found that you felt how lonely she has been with out him and now he is back, the sheer happiness returned to her and the way she reacted
This episode did indicate that Gulaal is somewhat looking for Vasant in Kesar the way it came across quite a few times with the letter and then talking to Vasant etc, and indeed that the only other person who can make her happy is Kesar, and only them two can make each other happy it seems
Gulaal right now and before wasnt living, she was just existing - she needs to start living again and why would it be so wrong for her to have some love and life in her life - second chance to it all, her and Kesar are bonded from the soul it seems.......... i think today we saw a change in Gulaal that there is a small chance that there could be more there or as time goes on
What can i say about Talli, she is nice girl - but i dont see it with her and Kesar even the scene in the mandir, there was one shot were Talli looked shall i say surreal that i thought Kesar would look at her in a loving way but it didnt come but for me i saw a contrast to that scene to how he saw Gulaal later, thats how i saw them two scenes working in this episode and where Kesar's full emotions and who it falls on.........

We saw that emptiness in Gulaal's life and a perfect time to show it. Your mind instantly clicks for Kesar being the man who gives brings her back to life. I think this scene was really important especially for those who think she's happy just remembering Vasant :\

Like you mentioned in your topic, it was sweet when Talli fed Gulaal but as you said, if Kesar was going to feel any attraction towards her it would have been in the mandir scene but it was all done for Talli's sake. She had another reason to smile I guess!😛 Then of course you see Kesar admiring Gulaal which kind of settles a lot of speculations.

HAHAHAHA! if you were the script writer either the show would have soared high up in the sky (get a million views) or crashed and burn (no views AT ALL!) hahaha! two extremes, but i would have watched it for the sake of laughing and making fun of someone!!! hehe! oh man, sholay! LOL.

TRUE THAT! i want kesar-gul to be together!!! they really seem like soul-mates.. agreed, that vasant loved her a lot... plain love but LOT OF IT! with kesar-gul it seems so much more than just plain love... it makes their coupling a lot more emphatically sound... it seems more, well, meaningful and significant.. 😊

I think even looking at it from a neutral POV, the viewers have seen more of Kesar-Gulaal and the depth of their relationship. There wasn't that much of Vasant-Gulaal! The creatives have purposefully made an effort to highlight Kesar and Gulaal's bond more than any other relationship in the show and I don't think they'd do that for no reason.

Talli maybe a pivotal character, but as you just said, her character is ANNOYING to the hilt. She looks like a starry eyed fangirl of Kesar to me and i wish i was sorry to say that. The shallow character, the actress herself makes me reach for my remote. Even Taani of Tere Liye was a childhood sweetheart waiting for Onu to come back but she had such depth and maturity that you connected with her. And that is what is missing here. We can't connect to Talli's character.

As for Kesar-Gulaal, well, Indian Society has an ARRAY of such marriages in villages and no, there men don't run away from their older wives. I don't know if anyone has seen the film 'Ek Chaadar Mailii Si' - it was the same. Rishi Kapoor married his a decade and more older bhabhi Hema Malini and they made it work. Point being, that if the audience rejects it because of " Oh accha? aisa kaise ho sakta hai?" crap , then , we deserve the crap being doled out to us at prime time.

I know the writers are being cautious and subtle while building Kesar-Gul as man and wife . But they better take just one direction and that is MAKE THIS MARRIAGE WORK. Vasanth is gone , long gone. Let him be the beautiful memory that he is instead of bringing him back and creating a mess you can never get out of!

Talli was more shy then anything and Kesar wasnt even gazing at her in such a intense serene way lol, but i do think it was done for her sake and then the finally scene we saw it the way Kesar should of looked at Talli was how he looked at Gulaal, the way he did and the way he tenderly said those dialogues, i dont know how Talli-Kesar can happen as such, like Pocu said, she is the woman, that woman - always has been and always will, i dont see anyone taking that 'place' - that place is even more valuable coz it stems from such a bond, not a name given title like friend, patni or lover, but such a deep soulful place that can only be felt........ (i hope you got what i meant???)

humm vasant or kesar ......... seems like a hot debate.
im only talking logically, in ek chadar maili si the man had died and his last rites were performed.
here vasant is merely missing. his body has not been found , if creators wanted to bump off vasant and replace him with kesar , there was no point in keeping the probability of his return open.
they might have as well showed his body and lst rites etc.
if vasant is not supposed to return this is a large loose end which needs to be tied up rather cleverly , else the script writers have doena stupid senseless job here.

Thats the thing, they need to make it work, coz the way Kes-Gul are built up its hard to see why it wouldnt work coz it should work even more so with the kind of bond they have and purity of their relation, and also if they even show Kes interested in Talli as such, it kinda stains shall i say the track, coz like you said Gulaal is the woman, always been that woman, so him to look at someone else like how he has just done to Gulaal today, seems so unlikely and doesnt make sense as such, and somewhat can create a mess that will be like a never-ending circle to get out of
Vasant is embedded in her and i dont say this coz he is just her first hubby and first love, coz the way she has loved him, the way she loves, the upmost love and tenderness and strength as a woman and a woman who love, and when she gazes at the man in the photo and memories of it, thats how a beautiful memory and such love should be, rather then crying a river day in and out and we both know who use to do that in another show 😆 i rather not think about that lol
Taani was a good character, i found her to be more selfless then Onu in Tere Liye
