I honestly do not hate Talli's character. She is quite innocent in her love for Kesar. But Kesar does not love her like a woman, but only as a friend. His eyes has been and always will be on Gulaal. However, Gulaal only loves Vasant (at least now) and can only see him as her life's purpose. She cannot see Kesar as her opposite. She views him as person she needs to protect and teach to become like Vasant. And I think Kesar knows that about how Gulaal only sees him as a kid. He in a way is trying to change Gulaal's perspective of him as a child. Through his rebellion he wants to show Gulaal that he is not a kid anymore. He is obviously attracted to Gulaal, but feels as though Vasant is always in between. In addition I think he also realizes that Gulaal is trying to pair him with Talli. Which he despises, but does not hold back in using Talli to prick Gulaal's emotions. (The liking Talli's food and going out of his way to criticize Gulaal's food, making Talli eat from his plate etc.) If you notice every scene, somebody brings up that Kesar and Gulaal are married in front of them, Kesar always looks at Gulaal with an expression "When is she going to accept it?" Honestly, I feel bad for Talli. She is going to get hurt and badly. Also a prediction is that when Gulaal finally accepts Kesar, Vasant will show up to confuse things. Also there is good possibility of Talli going grey in the future when she looses Kesar. Dushyant being nice, I do not buy it. He is a grey character. If not now, but in the future.

I think Gulaal is slowly changing her approach towards Kesar anyway. She knows he doesn't like to be patronised so she used that coin toss game to reach his level. Not sure if he has realised that Gulaal is trying to push him towards Talli but he definitely knows how to use Talli to hurt Gulaal which he shouldn't do!

Talli will need to make time from her smiling attacks in order to become grey.

As for yesterday's episode....Talli eating 3/4 of the screen time was the most annoying thing ever....I just cannot connect with that character....even though Gulaal is insisting on Talli's misery, I cannot even summon up a decent amount of pity for her. She has no depth or dimension to her character.

The whole scene when Keser followed Talli to her dance spot and how he seem to like it, is a parallel with Gulaal and Vasant scene first scene, like JC mentioned. The difference is....Vasant was mesmerized by Gulaal....it was Vasant who felt the attraction. In this Keser was just surprised at Talli's talent happy about it, he was not awestruck.

The coin toss scene was excellent as well, it should a tiny glimpse of old Gulaal....the one who seems to be lost with Vasant. When Gulaal tossed the coin, that old mischievous Gulaal who wanted to do everything on a bet with Vasant emerged a little. The way she peaked back to see if Keser drank the milk....that was my favorite scene of the day. That was so old Gulaal. Peaking from behind pillars is her thing.😊

Yes there was a big difference between the two scenes. If Kesar had to be attracted to Talli it would have been in that scene but he was pretty normal while one look at Gulaal combing her hair did the job for him. Even in the coin toss scene he was secretly impressed with her!

@bold: Which is why Gulaal can only really be her happy-self with Kesar! I loved the scene too!

I agree with thari_thari here, even i saw the old Gulaal back a little bit who would do a bet and so be so cute whilst doing it and her cute face when she saw behind the pillars, thats why i was saying there is a slight change in Gulaal in that scene itself

Anyway, coming to the episode I liked it.
I agree with everyone here that Talli is so annoying. She has no clue whats going on around her. She seems to be living in her own little world comprised of herself and Kesar. She really needs to smile less. The director needs to do something about that now!😆
But the biggest drawback is that the actress and Neil have no chemistry and if they are thinking of a triangle then this is vital.
Kesar is so complex. He's full of anger yet is so vulnerable. He wants to hurt Gulaal but then feels bad when he does. Neil is doing an awesome job as Keasr. He made me want to slap him for being mean to Gulaal but I forgave him for everything just for that look he gave Gulaal when she was brushing her hair. Chemistry at its best.😳
Manasi was just awesome today in her scene with her mother. I felt so bad for her. And she's so sensitive to Kesars feelings that she doesnt know what to say to him without him lashing out on her. I loved the terrace scene, especially when Gulaal sneakily took a look at Kesar drinking the milk and Kesar giving a slight smile to himself when he thought Gulaal had left.
Nice post Reemz.😊

Talli ki jitni tareef karo woh kam hai! 😛 On the other hand, when Kesar and Gulaal are in a scene together you automatically sense the intense chemistry between the two.

Neil is really doing a fantabulous job, he's just sunk his teeth in effortlessly! Kesar is such a complicated character and Neil brings all his emotions to surface amazingly well. Manasi was brilliant in the scene with Paan-baa but I think the moment where I was really amazed by her is her subtle reactions to Kesar's harsh acts/remarks on the dining table. The way she was just looking on while Kesar and Talli were eating in one plate made me really feel for Gulaal!

nice post @ bold i think kesar wants to hurt gulaal for this he used talli ........remember as kid he was been told that if he look at any other women his gulaal will cry like sudha..........this is his way to punish gulaal by showing his affection towards talli infront of her......(still so innocent ) he thinks by doing so he will make gulaal cry and suffer......... but what he doesnt know that gulaal already wants talli to marry kesar........ dont know how he is gonna react to this situation

I was thinking the same thing....Keser is actually in his stubbornness achieving just what Gulaal thought she wanted. yet judging from her rather sad reaction to it....Gulaal doesn't know her own mind yet. She wants Keser to like Talli but without dismissing her.....She should realize that he's one man and can't have two females in his life. If she really wants Keser to be with Talli then she should sacrifice her emotions for it. Our dear Gulaal wants to have her cake and eat it too.

I think the moment Keser knows that Gulaal wants to push him towards Talli, he will get really mad or he will up his interactions with Talli by a notch and see how it will effect Gulaal. This would happen only after the misunderstanding is cleared....or will his reaction to Gulaal be the key in clearing up misunderstanding. This story has so many dimensions its so amazing.

Yup! I hadn't considered that! you realy do have a point there. no idea how he will react! plus, we don't know what he would do after that to continue to emotionally harm gulaal!
