Neil's entry as Kesar in Gulaal...

What a super and fantastic enrty Neil !!! too good !!! Just loved this attitude of yours. A totally different look from that of Abhi and earlier ones. Here again, you stole the show and it was mindblowing !!!!! Enjoyed it !!!!

I loved the beginning scene where Kesar meets Dushyanth.. the anger in his eyes when he looked at him and the way he unwillingly hugged him makes us feel.. oh, what kind of a person Dushyanth must be !! The serious/matured look of Kesar is absolutely fantastic. The more I watch this show, the more I get excited about the forthcoming episodes. Really liking it and Neil is doing a great job.

Kesar's Attitude with Gulaal and Talli in the earlier episodes...

Neil was brilliant in bringing out the various emotions of Kesar towards two different ladies - Gulaal and Talli. The shocked and astounded look of Kesar at Gulaal with the same affection that he had eight long years ago was still prominent in his eyes.. that on look states how much he was/is fond of Gulaal and the next moment that very look fades away at the thought of Vasanth .. omg !!! such variations in emotions.. Only Neil can do this.. acting done with brilliance !!!! the one look of Kesar with a smile at Gulaal while he walks away from her to meet Motaba was super fantastic. I loved the entire scene of Kesar and Talli.. just too good. So playful he was with Talli yet with a different attitude that made him say ( when she asks him to make her wear bangles ) - "lele aur pehenle.. yeh kaam mujhse nahin hoga.." this one scene made me smile and say, WOW... his attitude is amazing !!!.. just want to see more of such Kesar's performances...

Hey Neil, All praises to you and your acting skills. You portray the role of Kesar so well... its outstanding !!! A stunning performance in every episode.. Just love the way you mould this complex character into a loveable one and make it worth watching... Kudos !!! Any role... You do it with much ease and its appreciable. Kesar's subsequent changes in expressions as per the situation is something fantastic and praiseworthy... Kesar gets furious with Gulaal, Dushyanth and Talli.. but the execution of the same anger by him towards these people has a wide range which is so very prominent in the attitude and the body language that Neil adapts.. that proves Neil's versatility in acting... Great going Neil. The entry of Kesar is the best thing that has ever happened in Gulaal ... Everytime I watch this show I just fasten my eyes to my TV screen to enjoy Neil's potrayal as Kesar !!!! Looking forward to many more wonderful performances by you Neil.

May 9th episode..

I just watched yesterday's episode... It was a super, super fantastic episode!!!! I loved it !!!!Waah !!! Kya baat hai Neil, You have done an outstanding job as Kesar in yesterday's show. It was all about Kesar's feelings for Gulaal and I was just wanting to see such scenes to happen between Kesar and Gulaal. Kesar's anger (must watch Neil's eye gestures here... excellent !!!! ) on Dushyant's comment - Uski jagah mein vahaan hota na, tho mein bhi vahi kartha... was a terrific one !!! that one look of Kesar's anger shows how much he loves Gulaal... Wooohooo... Great Going Kesarji !!!! Iam also waiting to see Gulaal's reaction to Kesar's feelings towards her, that would be an exciting part to watch. Loved Kesar's unavoidable answer to Talli's childish question and the best was the shocked look of Kesar as he turns around just to see Gulaal standing there. Kesar and Gulaal's conversation was the major attraction of the episode.. Gulaal doesn't even realise Kesar's love for her.. I hope that happens soon, I would love to see more of them. The close up shot of Kesar's eyes was too good... well... it has to be good as those are the most expressive eyes !!!! Those eyes in tears said so many things which is yet to be understood by Motabha and Gulaal.. Superb acting Neil !!!! Hari - Hari Chudiyaan for Gulaal... yeyyy !!!! Those bangles are the most beautiful gift for the most beloved one. Altogether a very nice episode.

May 11th episode..

Neil was best in bringing out the various emotions of Kesar in just a scene... The stunned look when Talli questions him as he enters the room, the happiness with a 100 watt smile on finding Rewa at home, the most affectionate look ( at Rewa's comment "... ki tu Gulaal ka ithna khyaal rakhtha hai" ) when he couldn't meet Gulaal's eyes and the worried look at Rewa when he heard about Yogesh's illtreatment towards her because of him.. it was all in a go... Lovely !!!!!

Kesar couldn't meet his eyes with Gulaal's, may be because he wanted to hide his feeling s for her... (but for how long ???) Actually I liked that scene and it was pefectly done by Neil. Then a heartfelt sorry, inspite of not being wrong ( for everything that he has done before )from Kesar to Gulaal... made me feel that his concern, love, affection, feelings for Gulaal has grown a bit more than that he had before. Here I could see a changed attitude of Kesar towards Gulaal. Great acting by Neil as Kesar.

May 12th episode..

I liked the beginning scene where we could see a Changed behaviour of Kesar.. It was so good to see Kesar showed so much of eagerness and interest in order to carry out and fulfill his resposibilities towards work which was actually expected by the entire family including Gulaal.. So.. there we have a new Kesar.. hmmm... more or less to impress Gulaal ???...Oh...Yes... I think Iam right.

Ohhhooo.. there comes the sweet voice of Gulaal that must have struck a chord in Kesar's heart and thats the reason he couldn't resist himself from moving towards Gulaal's room, it was like he was totally stunned having heard her voice which made him to have a glimpse of her... that was a very natural and beautiful scene. OMG.. Kesar's mesmerised look at Gulaal's beauty while she wore those bangles will make anyone mesmerised at him, here I loved the background music that created the perfect mood... he couldnt take his eyes off her even after eye contact with her until she uttered Kesar... and the look of embarrassment was just so perfect when she called him. It was so beautifully enacted by Neil. The two most lovable words " aur tu ??" by Kesar and Gulaal's reply to that meant so much to him, he was sooo happy at Gulaal's reply and still smiling looking at those bangles... it was a very heart melting scene. Here again I loved the tossing of the coin by Kesar... Kesar just couldn't stop himself from saying - "khule bhalon mein tu jyaada achchi lagthi hain" when Gulaal got closer to him just to find out if she won or lost the toss..he has become so bold now and and is all set to convey her his love towards her.

I could see a kind of disappointment in Kesar's face when he asks Gulaal to accompany him and Talli and she denies it. It was just a small change in expression to be brought in by Kesar but perfectly done by Neil.

May 13th episode..

I just loved the scene where Kesar recollects the letter that he had written to Gulaal, Neil's voice in the background as the inner thoughts of Kesar was so superb. It was read with perfect voice modulation so as to suit the chilhood voice of Kesar... liked it. The moment Gulaal entered his room.. Kesar got the shock of his life and just pretended everything was normal... It was done with perfect timing. I just loved the way Kesar said - " Talli se kyun, tu kyun nahin ? " (when he wanted Gulaal to set things in his room...) that was a kind of very authoritative question. And Gulaal had to agree upon him.. right after that we could see Kesar had that slight happiness on his mind hearing Gulaal's agreement. Kesar again wants Gulaal to indulge in his life as she used to. Now he has become so outspoken that he says.. "tu bhi tho zindagi ka hissa hain" and the expression of Kesar following this dialogue was perfect.. it was like why did I utter such a thing ??.. The entire scene was too good. Very Nice !!

May 16th episode..

Kesar's shock and the sudden irritation at Talli's behaviour and then going deep into the thoughts of admiring the chunar as he looked at it was a beautiful scene and superbly performed by Neil. Talli's behaviour in the kharkhana was a bit irritating. When I myself got much irritated watching her... why wouldn't Kesar be ???... Ufff.. this girl !!??!! I liked the way he happily told the workers to keep the chunar separately.. I liked that scene as I could feel Kesar's inner feelings for Gulaal... Just waiting to see how would Gulaal react to it when Kesar gives the chunar to her.. fingers crossed. Neil was good in his expressions in the scene where Gulaal comes to set things in his room... the stunned and the frightened look when he snatches the letter from her.. still terrified and the tensed look (when he keeps the letter in his pocket) while he tried to change the topic, his answer to Gulaal's question about what he has written in the letter and why he did not send it and the way he tried to control his emotions as the tears covered his eyes... was just WOW.. It was a brilliant piece of work by Neil !!!

May 18 th episode..

Kesar's initial happiness for Gulaal, his puzzled look at her as to what she was saying, his sudden anger at her the moment she says about Dushyant and the disappointment at her behaviour (as he leaves) was beautifully portrayed by Neil.

Neil, What an excellent portrayal of an angry young man !!!!

Kesar was totally heartbroken with Gulaal's decision and also that she was against his will. He was so much hurt by Gulaal that he became very emotional too and I could feel Kesar's turmoil, his anger, his pain, his frustration, his loneliness when he was found all alone near the pond. With great force he threw stones into the pond and that made me think... omg... So much anger on Gulaal. Obviously he has to be... how could she ever go against his will and hurt his feelings... Nobody is even willing to understand him, not even Gulaal whom he loves the most. His wet eyes spoke about his pain that he underwent as he reminisced some of the moments with Gulaal that were very close to his heart. Kesar's fierce attitude was brilliant and superb.

Precap was something that I would love to watch... Eagerly waiting for tomorrow's episode !!!!

Neil's best: Kesar on 19/5/11

Kesar had nowhere to go that he landed himself near the banks of the river. There he stood all alone in the midst of the stones. The calmness of the water was disrupted as Kesar threw the stones in fury. The earlier intermittent period of anger found its threshold today.

As Durgesh's words kept ringing in his ears, he was angry at himself recollecting the times he spent with Gulaal, taking care of her, buying her the gift or praying together at the temple. He hated himself for having eased out with Gulaal. He was feeling guilty as he felt he had been betrayed by Gulaal. Kesar crushed the stones in his hand before just falling on his knees to the ground. He succumbed to the agony within him, to Gulaal's indifference to his feelings. He was unable to understand her or her civility to Dushyant. Some people have the habit of hurting themselves physically. Kesar did that to himself as he finally fell down out of physical and emotional exhaustion. When his hands dropped the stone in his hand, neither did he have the energy to hold the stone nor hold on to those disgusting thoughts at that moment.

When Kesar came home, his eyes are in search of Gulaal. When he saw Gulaal was her usual normal self, so unmindful of his feelings or rather according to him unrepentant for having done what she had done, he was forced to flashback to that outrageous comment from Durgesh. His eyes had that pain, hurt and anger.

Precap was awesome. Gulaal was scared out of her wits seeing him stand there with so much fury in his eyes.
