Never I have been sooo disappointed by a character in this show! Durga was always my least fav character in the show and I never liked her but Angad's character disappointed me the most.
When Angad entered the show I was having mixed feelings about this character, but I really liked his character in the Goa track. His character seemed to be sooo innocent and I liked how he brought Akshat and Guddan closer and also helped Guddan so that Akshat talks to her.
But after the Goa track, his character has been such a disappointment. Initially I understand that Durga has messed up with his medicine thats why he is behaving in this way but killing your own elder brother is way too much. And on top of that he even has guts to torture his brotjer and emotionally blackmail his sister-in-law.
To be honest, I find Angad's character very poorly written. Like besides the episode where his face was revealed, he didnt seem mentally unstable at all. He seemed to be like a normal episode. Though he was 'well-behaved' in Goa but not a moment I felt he was mentally unstable.
And then when he goes crazy after Durga brainwashes him, yes he actually seemed mentally unstable. The actor has done a great job in playing this character. Achal is a good actor. He has potential. But his character is very poorly written. And after he kills his elder brother he tells his sister-in-law to marry him as it's his elder brother's last wish. How can a mentally unstable guy have this much sense of last wish? If he was really mentally unstable he would have threatened Guddan on the spot.
There are many instances I found his character really weird. Did he forget about his ex-lover? Cause not a single time I see him remembering about her. I am sorry to say Angad is rather a psycho not a mentally unstable character. If they show Angad was never mentally unstable and just acting that can make some sense why Angad was behaving like this all these days?!
I really wish this character was a positive one. Why does all the new character in the show has to be negative? Cant they bring at least one positive character? This show was going good but Rocky and Angad's inclusion was totally unnecessary.
What I am more disappointed was the way Angad's character has shaped up. He could have been that one guy who could have brought his Bhaia-Bhabi closer with his innocence which sadly doesnt exist for Angad anymore, especially when the actor playing Angad is a good actor. He could have been the positive cupid in the show but he has been totally opposite sadly. I can't believe Angad is actually Akshat's younger brother and Dadi's son. Cause Akshat and Dadi are so innocent but Angad is totally opposite. If this is a plan of Angad and he is actually helping his Bhaia-Bhabi that would have been great but I dont think so.
Sorry to say, but this track has been the worst track of this show till date.
It totally spoiled the essence of this show. Is it really necessary to create a love triangle between two brothers and a girl? Is it really necessary to bring a psycho in this show every time? I dont like to say this but after showing these kind of episode(younger brother stabbing elder brother, blackmailing his sister-in-law, eldest bahu hatching lowly conspiracies) it will be a shame to call this show a light entertainment show. Ab mujhe kisi bhi angle se yeh light entertainment show nahi lagta.
They have justifed the 'affair' track quite well but it wont be easy but rather impossible to justify this track, it's too violent and regressive and does not send a good message at all.
