One thing I really love about AJ is that he doesn't let his man ego come in between!
If it was like most ITV male leads, it would have been hero eventually got angry on heroine as they didnt let him make her wear mangalsutra or misunderstand heroine, then ego clashes more misunderstandings and the mess continues.
In this show I didn't get to see much of ego clashes between the leads, compared to other shows which is one thing I really liked about this show.
And AJ was so happy about Guddan today as if she was praising him

Aaj iss rishtey mei RESPECT aayi hai. Bohot jald issi rishtey mei PYAAR ka bhi sweetness aayega.
I agree with your words. Akshat Jindal just raised the bar for the ideal husband in single ladies. Do such men exist? Will I ever meet a man as respectful and genuine as AJ? Will my future husband treat me with equality? These were the thoughts I had in my mind as AJ was saying those lines.

It was a beautiful episode. Daadi expected her Lalla to be mad at Guddan, but she was surprised that he understood his Wife so deeply. And the best part was when Guddan presented her part of the story in detail. In a way she said that I don't expect you to love me or be sweetly biased to me. I just want the REAL Akshat Jindal who has always been truthful to me. I don't want this rishta to be a BOJ on your shoulders. I want it to be your strength.

You are spot on. AJ doesn't let his ego dictate his behavior, which is why he's such a great character (and husband goals of course!)

Also, I think it would be really lame to have Guddan marry a much older man who is silly or immature to the point of getting stuck in ego clashes and useless arrogance. AJ is a mature character, and bar a few incidents (since he's human), he's been pretty dignified and shown the maturity that a guy in his mid-40s and head of the household should.

I have one such man next to me. 😃
I like how AJ knows to recognize when his mistake is. 😉
He can admit he's wrong. 👏
As for the fact that he is proud of Guddan.😊
For the first time I must say this, that this time Guddan deserved all respect.👍🏼
Relationship now has to change between the two.
Now he considers her equal to him.
I admire how he made it full list, where he made a mistake.👏
Today he said all what I thought was not good in him. 😳
BRAVO AJ. 👏Today you have proven that a real man can understand a woman and admit that he is wrong.

Agree with everything you said. You and I were discussing all these points yesterday and what we were hoping to see in AJ. So glad that the CVs addressed each and every point we have been thinking about. I almost felt as if they were reading the audience's minds!!

You are a very lucky lady to have a man like AJ next to you. God bless you both.

For the first time he smile when he talks about Guddan. But this time his smile was honestly and from the heart. I'm so glad that Dadi was there to see that smile, she must have miss this smile so much.

You wrote everything I wanted to say in this sentence. This was missing, that AJ realized where he was wrong. That marriage is not only if he says that the two of them are married. The connection must go from both sides and must be equal. To work together and make decisions together. To respect each other.

He understood her before the cake. But after the cake and the statement of her, he realized that this time Gooddan is serious. And she does not intend to give up halfway. But he was scared. Since he knows that he currently does not love her, and can not give her love.

@red you know, that's been a running theme since the beginning. AJ sort of used to look down at Guddan as though she were a pesky irritating kid. Over time she matured and today he realized that she's not just a silly kid but a woman who knows her mind and has the courage to be honest, to make the right decisions, and to stand up for herself in the face of difficulties.

@blue Yes, that smile spoke a million words. I think Nishant was just brilliant in that scene. The way he delivered his dialogues was perfectly in sync with his facial expressions.

@pink I hope AJ continues to think more about the relationship and realize that they both have more in common than they think and that even with opposing traits they can make a beautiful friendship/partnership work.

@black Yes, the cake scene put him in deeper thought, but what was interesting was again another big change that we saw in AJ. Before he used to be stubborn and almost arrogant in saying that he would never give her the place of a wife, but this time he said it with regret and almost a sense of helplessness that he would be unable to give her what he knows she deserves. We, the audience, know better but at this point AJ genuinely believes that he will fall short in being a complete husband to Guddan because of his inability to love her. I have a feeling this line of thinking will create a sense of guilt in him and give him a tendency to over-compensate, so he will take extra care of her and treat her even more gently than before. 😃

Yes, hopefully you will meet a guy like AJ.

@bold honesty is one of the most important pillars of a relationship. If that is strong, then everything else falls into place easier. I'm glad that even in this scene Guddan made it very clear what she was looking for. Seedhi baat, no beating around the bush.

Today when he talked to Ddi, it seemed to me that someone read our discussing and put it in a series. Literally everything we've been told, he said all. Now, when he said, he still had to fulfill it. Since he is a man of the his word, I expect that everything he has said will turn into reality.
Thank you so much. I started watching this series since my story is similar to theirs. With one difference, my marriage is a marriage of love.

Yes, he is a man of his word and once he decides on something he doesn't back off. Can't wait for the journey ahead! 😃

@red Absolutely he looked at her as a child, who should protect and for whom he is responsible. That's why he corrected all of her mistakes, and provided support when she might not have needed it. This was a wake-up call. To understand that Gudan is a woman, and that she expects from him the rights that a woman should have.
@blue He was so happy, I do not think I saw him so happy. And it's changing for better.
@pinkAt the moment, I expect only friendship with a romance between them. And I just hope that AJ will not change his mind and try to sacrifice his love.

Just because he is such a man, I'm a little afraid.
He would sacrifice their relationship for the sake of his brother's happiness.
