Chapter 30

Next morning Guddan comes to her room and sees AJ is in the washroom. She puts his clothes on the bed and goes to kitchen to prepare breakfast. He comes out of the washroom and starts getting ready.

Guddan: aapki coffee. Aap tayar hojaye main fresh hoke aati hoon.

AJ: ok and sits on the couch.

After some time.

Guddan: (from the washroom) akshat aap hain kya wahan?

AJ: haan bolo kya hua

Guddan: wo actually main kapde laana he bhool gayi

AJ: (smirks) to mujhe koi problem nai hai agar tum towel main bahar aaogi, Maine darwaza band kar diya hai.

Guddan: akshattt please. Mere Cupboard main se dijiye na kapde.

AJ: acha ruko dekhta hoon.

He takes out something yellow colored from her cupboard and goes to the washroom door and knocks. Guddan peeks through a small gap.

AJ: ye lo. Waise main andar aake help karoon kuch and winks.

Guddan: (taking the clothes) kuch zyada he besharam nai hote jaa rahe hain aap( and closes the door).

AJ: hadh hai, is main kya besharmi, meri biwi meri marzi.

Guddan: akshat ye kya diya hai aapne. Itne bade Cupboard main aapko yahi mila?

AJ: kya hai, mujhe jo mila Maine de diya.

Guddan: ye Saree hai. Mujhse nai sambhalti saree aur naa he properly peheni aati hai isi liye to i wear it occasionally.

AJ: acha lao i will give you something else.

Guddan: let it be now. Abhi neeche B jaana hai late hojayega. Arghhh.

She comes out of the washroom and picks up his tie. While she is making him wear the tie, the pleats of her saree open and fall to the floor.

Guddan: (making a crying sound) this is the reason main saree ghar pe nahi pehnti. Aap neeche chalo main change kar k aati hoon.

AJ: stop.

He sits down with one knee on the floor and takes the saree in his hand.

Guddan: aap kya kar rahe hain??

AJ: shhh (looking up to her)

He then folds the saree neatly making nice pleats. Then he gets up with pleats in one hand and with the the other hand he takes her pallu and places it on her shoulder making her bare waist visible.

AJ: ye pakdo aise he chodna bilkul nahi (handing her the pleats).

He goes to the dressing table and looks for a pin. Once he finds it, he takes the pleats from her hands and inserts the pin in the pleats.

Guddan: aapko ye sab b aata hai. Not bad.

AJ: g haan and sits down

He slowly puts the pleats into her saree and guddan closes her eyes as his cold hands come in contact with her body. Once done with the pleats he looks up to guddan and sees, her eyes are closed.

AJ: wow, you look so beautiful and kisses her stomach.

Guddan: ( moans) akshattt while ruffling her hand through his hair.

Unable to control his urge, AJ stands up and lifts her in bridal style and places her on the bed. He starts kissing her stomach and then removes her pallu and kisses her neck. He then bites on her neck.

Guddan: ouchh

AJ: sorry and kisses the bite and then licks it to soothe her pain.

He then proceeds down while kissing her and then there is a knock on the door.

Angad: bhaiya koi milne aaya hai aapse.

Guddan: akshat darwaze pe angad hai.

AJ: (shouts from the bed not leaving guddan) angad aaraha hoon neeche.

He cups guddan's face and kisses her on the lips and she too reciprocates and in the flow she slightly bites at his lower lip and they break the kiss

AJ:( touching his lower lip) revenge, is it?

Guddan: nai wo actually (blushing) sorry.

AJ: it's ok and kisses her forehead.

Guddan: neeche koi wait kar raha hai aapka chaliye.

AJ: (standing in front of the mirror combing his hair) poori duniya ko jaise pata chal jaati hai Akshat Jindal apni biwi k saath akela hai, chalo usse pareshaan karte hain.

Guddan: (laughing) kya kuch bhi and straightens his collar. Zyada lag gayi (while touching his lower lip)

AJ: bilkul nahi madam. Chalein?

Guddan: ek minute. (She holds his face and sucks at his lower lip slowly to make him feel better). Aap chaliye main aati hoon and rushes to the bathroom without waiting for his reaction.

AJ: (to himself) she is only mine.

In the washroom guddan covers her neck with the pallu to hide his mark on her.

He goes downstairs to meet the person. He is from some NGO asking for help. AJ gives him a cheque and he leaves.

Maa: lalla aaja nashta kar le late hojayega.

AJ: g maa aaya and sits at the table.

Maa: lalla ye chot kaise lagi tujhe (pointing at his lips)

Angad and Nimisha stare at him trying to control their laughter and guddan stands embarrassed thinking how will he handle the situation.

AJ: nai maa wo actually,

Maa: actually kya, bolna kya hua

AJ: maa wo subah jab coffee pii raha tha to us mug main crack tha, usi se hogaya.

Angad spills the juice from his mouth hearing his explanation and guddan rushes to the kitchen.

Angad: bhai kya kaha aapne?

AJ: wahi jo tune suna, chal nashta kar zyada dhyan mat diya kar idhar udhar ku baaton pe.

Maa: ye guddan kahan chali gayi achanak se.

Nimi: maa wo crack wala mug dekhne gayi hogi didi and winks at angad.

Akshat blushes and leaves.

AJ: maa main chalta hoon, bye.

Maa: nashta to poora karle.

AJ: bas maa hogaya. Guddan(shouts) main nikal gaya.

Guddan: (coming from kitchen) itni jaldi kar liya aapne nashta.

AJ: haan bye.

Guddan: byeee.

Maa: aaja guddan Tu bhi kar le nashta. Aaj saree main achi lag rahi hai.

Nimi: haan maa sahi kaha aapne.

Guddan gives medicine to maa and then goes to her room. She changes the saree and wears a suit.

At lunch

Maa: guddan saree kyun change ki achi lag rahi thi tujh pe

Guddan: maa wo handle he nahi horahi thi mujhse. Main chal he nahi paa rahi thi.

Nimisha: achaaa and winks at her.

There is a knock at the door.

Guddan: main dekhti hoon.

Person: maam ye 2 parcel hain ek Mrs. Jindal k naam se aur ek Aarti Jindal ke naam se. Aap yahan sign kar dijiye and he leaves.

Guddan: nimi tune kuch order karaya tha. Ek to aarti ka hai.

Nimi: waise to nai kiya tha kuch.

Angad: khol k dekh lo. Is main utna kya poochna hai. Aur main aarti se poochta hoon kya hai and can we open it.

Guddan: haan theek hai. Call her.

Angad: hello, aarti tera kuch parcel aaya hai, hum khol k dekhen

Aarti: haan bhai dekho, ye ab aaya. Mujhe laga tha aagaya hoga. Ye bhaiya aur bhabhi k liye hai. Aap log dekho main abhi busy hoon will call back. Bye.

Guddan: kya kaha aaru ne.

Angad: usne kaha kholo. And it's for you and bhai.

Guddan: acha, par kyun. Chalo dekhte hain.

They all sit in Hall as guddan opens it. While opening it she realises it's the frame she had asked akshat for.

Maa: ye to kuch photo frame lag raha hai bada sa.

Angad: hmmm dono photo frame he lagte hain. Dikhao zara bhabhi saamne se kis ki photo hai.

Nimi: ye to main aur angad hain. Angad tumne kab frame karayi ye?

Angad: Maine nai kiya hai ye.

Guddan: relax, ye maine lee thi prasoon photo aur akshat se keh ke frame karayi thi. Acha frame haina? Tumhare room main acha lagega.

Nimi: bahut acha hai. Peeche wala wall waise b empty tha. It would look good their. Haina angad?

Angad: haan. Thankyou so much bhabhi.

Maa: (stands up and kisses guddan) kitna khayal rakhti hai meri bachi sab ka. Ab zara dikha aarti ne kya laya hai tere aur lalla ke liye.

Nimi: haan didi kholo na jaldi.

Guddan: (while opening) ye bhi photo frame he hai.

Angad: Arre waah ye to badi pyari photo.

Guddan looks at the picture. It's AJ and guddan with guddan in his arms on the stairs.

Guddan: ye aarti ne kab lee hai photo. Mujhe to yaad he nahi.

Maa: ye us din ki hai jab tujhe chot aayi thi aur lalla tujhe room se leke neeche laya tha.

Guddan: ohhh acha. Angad ye le ja ye room main laga de apne. Main isko upar le jati hoon.

Nimi: aap bhi ye apne room main lagana.

Guddan: haan.

Guddan goes to her room and stands on her bed to fix the frame above the bed. That wall is exactly opposite to the door and the frame is visible from the itself. She smiles looking at the photo.

After sometime Revti comes to meet guddan.

Revti: di aap kaise ho. Aapki bahut yaad aati hai. Aap kabse ghar nahi aaye.

Guddan: main theek hun tu kaisi hai aur mummy papa.

Revti: sab theek hain. Mujhe aapse kaam hai.

Guddan: theek hai pehle bol kya legi chai ya coffee.

Revti: kuch b nai. Aap chalo mere saath.

Guddan: kahan

Revti: muje thodi shopping kar ni hai. Aur aapko pata haina meri choice achi nahi hai.

Guddan: acha chal theek hai main change karti hoon. Tu tab tak maa se mil.

Revti meets nimisha as well as maa and till then guddan comes downstairs.

Guddan: maa main Revti k saath jaati hoon. Jaldi aaungi.

Maa: theek hai jaa. Khayal rakhna.

They have been shopping for quite some time now.

Guddan: Revti hogaya ab tera. Abi kitni shopping krni hai tujhe. Dekh raat b horahi hai, akshat b ghar aane wale honge.

Revti: bas hogaya na thoda sa kuch aur dekhte hain aur phir chalte hain.

Just then guddan's phone starts ringing.

Guddan: hello

AJ: hi, muje bolo wo frame deliver hogaya tha?

Guddan: haan wo to din main he hogaya tha.

AJ: ok, fine. Btw tum kahan ho. There is so much noise.

Guddan: haan main bahar aayi thi Revti k saath, usko kuch shopping krni thi.

AJ: acha, main pick krne aawun?

Guddan: nai nai. Aap ghar he jaana seedha. I will also come.

Revti: di, muje b jiju se baat krni. Phone do zara.

Guddan: le kar baat.

Revti: hello jiju kaise hain aap?

AJ: main theek hoon. Tum batao kaisi rahi shopping.

Revti: achi thi but main aapse kuch kahun

AJ: han haan bolo na

Revti: aap mana to nai karenge na

Guddan: kya kar rahi hai Revti. Kyun unko pareshaan kar rahi hai.

Revti: dekh rahe ho aap jiju kaise di mujhe aapse baat nai karne de rahi hai.

AJ: Revti tum bolo kya baat hai. Isse main baad main dekhta hoon.

Revti: jiju wo actually di bahut time se ghar nahi aayi hai. Main aaj unko ghar le jawun. Pleaseee mana mat karna. Pleaseee.

AJ: arre tum he aajao na ghar.

Revti: nai jiju wo mummy papa b miss kar rahe thay di ko. So isi liye

AJ: (with a sad face) theek hai le jao.

Revti: bye and disconnects the call.

Guddan: kya kaha unhone. Mujhse kyun nai bola tune pehle?

Revti: jiju maan gaye and hugs her. Chalo ab mummy papa ko surprise denge.

They reach home and their parents are happy seeing guddan home.

Revti: papa kaisa laga surprise?

Papa: bahut acha.

Guddan: papa main pehle maa ko phone karti hoon. Unko bolti hoon na main yahan aayi hoon.

Papa: haan kar le.

AJ comes back home and heads to his room. He spots the frame and smiles looking at it. He calls guddan.

AJ: ye frame kisi ne laaya hai?

Guddan: aarti ne. Achi photo haina? Aap kab aaye ghar?

AJ: photo bahut achi hai. Abhi aaya hoon.

Guddan: chaliye theek hai aap fresh hojaye, muje mummy bula rahi hain. Bye.

AJ: bye.

Post dinner guddan is sitting with her parents and they are talking and laughing. On the other hand AJ is missing guddan in their room. He call her.

Guddan: mummy main abhi aati hoon. Akshat ka phone hai.

Mummy: hana chalo ab sote b hain. Late hogaya kaafi.

Revti: di mujhe do main baat karti hoon (as they both proceed to their room).

AJ: hello

Revti: hi jiju. Soye nai aap abhi tak.

AJ: nai abhi nai soya. Guddan kahan hai.

Revti: bada miss kar rahe ho kya baat hai.

AJ: nai to. Maine to bas yunhi phone kiya tha.

Revti: achaaa, lekin di to so gayi. (Winking at guddan)

AJ: so gayi?

Revti: haan kab ki

AJ: chal so ja phir tu bhi and disconnects the call. He thinks aise kaise bina baat kiye so gayi.

Guddan: revti bahut pareshaan krti hai tu akshat ko. La de mera phone.

Revti: inko nai to aur kisko karungi.

Guddan call him back.

AJ: haan revti bolo.

Guddan: ye jhoot bol rahi thi revti. Aapko pareshaan kar rahi thi.

AJ: isse to main bataunga. Iska bhi time aayega. Leave this tum theek ho.

Guddan: haan main theek hoon. Aapne kiya dinner?

AJ: haan kar liya. I am missing you. Main tumko lene aa jaun.

Guddan: kya akshat aap bhi. Revti ko aapne he to haan kaha tha din main.

AJ: main usko mana he nai kar paya. Tumne suna wo kaise pooch rahi thi mujhse.

Guddan: ek he raat ki to baat hai.

Revti: ek kaam karlo didi vahin chale jao. Kyunki fayda to hai nahi aapke yahan hone ka. Mujhse to aap baat kar nahi rahe ho. Yahan bhi jiju se he baat kar rahe ho.

Guddan: akshat aap sojaye warna revti mera dimaag khayi zindagi bhar ki maine yahan aake b isse baat nahi ki. Ok?

AJ: theek hai. Bye

Guddan: bye.
