Mannat is competing with Anupamaa for TRPs and since the latter is on downward swing, RS will leave no stones unturned to spice Anupamaa more.

Ayesha, adnan and mona vasu are lead of show. Mona vasu will play mannat abandoned mother rival. She used to play milee character on star plus and antogionist character on color show many years ago. She comeback after many years. So I am excited to see her tashan with mannat who also seem to have Antogonist partner with hasan zaidi character
Hope Adnan will be good in Mannat he is a kind of unpredictable

Next step he will kick entire cast out except Upmadadi bring in new cast

I don't want to elaborate further in this discussion..we had the whole #metoo movement about this exact issue..
Yaa that show is done and dusted ..
Is there any episode today??
I leave watching serials abruptly, I have neither seen kusum dola(perhaps OG ghum) nor watched yhm beyond shagun marriage cancellation. Also in real life I neither slap someone nor live with abusive people no matter how dear they are.
Coming to yhm it started well but EKs love for High decibel cacophony spoiled it. The cast of yhm are to the point in terms of acting and variations in their emotions. The voice modulation of Raman for his one liners were perfect to the point.
Problem with ghum adaptation the versatility in acting is missing from the lead pair, infact I love baby Sai, Aman and Rajat prents characters. The premise being set for Savi choosing to support Sai is good but the variations in Savi’s expressions are very few, at places I found her body frozen like a stick even in the saddest of scenes, similarly Hitesh isn't emoting sadness enough to make people relate with his suffering. In small screen good actors captivate audience by subtle expressions everything camera is zoomed onto them, it cones from the awareness of camera angles and script. If not with body language they could bring out nuanced voice modulation.
Coming to the clichéd airport scene I agree with you instead of pleading Savi should dress him down for leaving his little daughter behind due to his misunderstanding about Savi, he's leaving his aged parents and family behind for his misconception about one person. He can't punish everybody due to a certain someone.

Totally.
@Bold I didn't have any high hopes from that either. Kusum Dola itself was quite a good show and it truly dealt with complex relationships. And all Ganja could show was the cringe Devar-Bhabhi romance. The same way I knew they would make a kabara of YHM only. And TBVH, YHM itself is not that good of a show now when I think about it. I loved the show for a significant amount of time but once I read CUSTODY, I realized what a pathetic adaptation Ekta had made out of the novel. In the end, it was just two brilliant actors and equally amazing supporting actors who carried a sinking ship forward. I never had the patience to tolerate it again, specially knowing the type of adaptation Ganja is capable of.
However, when they modified some crucial tracks, I fell for that trap and now here I am...
Just watched today's episode - Savi was literally on fire, again a welcome deviation from the OG. But what's the point? After all this she's again gonna run and stop Rajat, which doesn't make any sense specially after her dialogues today.
The one last thing I can hope for is she won't exactly stop Rajat but blast him at the airport for still insulting her in front of the entire family. Then they could show the remaining few episodes, Rajat trying to earn her forgiveness.
But given the track record of this show, I think I'm asking for too much.
Agree 💯 redemption arc is such a joke, it happens only in ITV world. TBH humans evolve and hence there's only take it or leave it. Alcoholic, abusive, traumatised, egoistic are the traits apt for Rajat and what redemption can we expect from such person and with this concept of redemption arc ITV CVs indiscriminately portray violence on FLs who are well educated and capable. It's sad to see the concept of treating woman like a personal thing treating with passion in the name of love and discarding dispassionately when vexed, abusing partner and justifying actions citing trauma is totally unacceptable. There isn't any occasion of Rajat finding about Savi’s past trauma, ddp and trying to understand her. He's busy making mistakes and super involved in getting her to correct them for him. He and his ex had kids but he left that girl to be taken care of by Savi.

What is this redemption thing ..It is a truth that human beings it is very difficult to change the basic traits of the character..It is either live with it or kick that person out ..Savi is still like stranger to Rajat , so it was Rajath responsibility 🤔 to learn more about the woman whom he address as his wife treat like a partner sharing responsibility of his baby girl and family ...It was Savi's responsibility to inform him about the " depth of her friendship with Anubhav"....It can create a wrong impression when one of the couple roam around with a own bestie from opposite sex..Rajath over reacted and Savi slapped him in private and now in public , he should have learn his lessons ..I feel there was mistakes from both but obviously 🙄 Rajath was really more at fault ...
Once physical intimacy kicks in everything will be better , Savi was a married woman but Ishan never touched her also , she is still like a spinster even now
...
However I hope Savi's story will end at a happy note with this Rajath where she has two good families at the least ...
Ghum writers can copy a regional drama instead of copying an iconic hindi serial ..

Not comparing but after watching few initial episodes of YHM , I feel that " lead pair" lacked maturity , sensuality and attraction YHM lead pairs had ...Savi and Rajat give different vibe , Savi had more compatibility with Ishan ...
I stopped watching for a while then started watching YouTube clips ...Even Ghum 1 I stopped watching when surrogacy track started ...Then completed watching once serial went off air ......
True that butchering ML for no reason and butchering the FL as well to compensate for the ML is totally outrageous and then paratrooping a new lead is totally

Most of the series start with " promising FL's journey of achieving bla bla bla: " but end with same to same triangles or rectangles ..Then noo more hope for triangles the " character assasination of ML then FL " ..They will bring Acha Admi ( who surprisingly smitten by FL's pregnant state or her already existing children)
