I leave watching serials abruptly, I have neither seen kusum dola (perhaps OG ghum) nor watched yhm beyond shagun marriage cancellation. Also in real life I neither slap someone nor live with abusive people no matter how dear they are.
Understandably...
Coming to yhm it started well but EKs love for High decibel cacophony spoiled it. The cast of yhm are to the point in terms of acting and variations in their emotions. The voice modulation of Raman for his one liners were perfect to the point.
Couldn't agree more.
Problem with ghum adaptation the versatility in acting is missing from the lead pair, in fact I love baby Sai, Aman and Rajat parents characters. The premise being set for Savi choosing to support Sai is good but the variations in Savi’s expressions are very few, at places I found her body frozen like a stick even in the saddest of scenes, similarly Hitesh isn't emoting sadness enough to make people relate with his suffering. In small screen good actors captivate audience by subtle expressions everything camera is zoomed onto them, it comes from the awareness of camera angles and script. If not with body language they could bring out nuanced voice modulation.
I agree mostly. However, I disagree that the lead pair is not versatile enough.
Now... I'm never gonna compare Hitesh's acting with KP's because he's simply one of the best. But that doesn't mean Hitesh isn't good enough. The same goes for Bhavika.
You see, at the beginning, even I had a problem with her stone face. But then again she improved and honestly, I undertand that disconnect.
Every actor approaches a character differently. When Pallavi Ji was trying to imitate Shehnaz Ji's character, it became weird. When she started to portray it with subtlety, tat's when Shree became likable.
Savi's entire character was different. From young & chirpy, she went through hell and became silent. In all fairness, that kind of explains her stiffness. Because she simply isn't as positive as Ishita.
There have been a lot of scenes like romantic, tragic and all and I feel both the leads have done a good job here.
So I personally won't blame the leads' acting to be the reason for this season's downfall.
But then again your opinion can be different than mine, it's all good...
Coming to the clichéd airport scene I agree with you instead of pleading Savi should dress him down for leaving his little daughter behind due to his misunderstanding about Savi, he's leaving his aged parents and family behind for his misconception about one person. He can't punish everybody due to a certain someone.
I'm glad that that's how it will play out.

In the BTS, Savi was on fire and she asked Rajat every valid question that we viewers have been discussing. Best part, she signed the papers and walked out saying she doesn't want to be married to someone like Rajat.
