The story was built on Sai and V and their dynamics. No other character had that much focus that they could run on its own.

Even P and Satya had their relevance till they were attached to Sai and V.

In MiMo track P was pretty much sidelined and it didn't matter.

During the hijack, in spite of it being an end track, Satya didn't even have dialogues for few episodes...

That's their importance in the story. So much for being PLs.

P would have been just another furniture piece in CN if she had really moved on with Sam.

Satya would have got an early exit if SS marriage did not happen.

The raita they have failoed is so much that Saavi doesn't even want to become an IPS... though she is aiming for a higher rank... it doesn't make sense... since it eliminates everything about her fascination for the police drills, the uniform and the legacy she would have carried of V.

Everything little Aria did so beautifully. 😔

Vinu is forgotten... they didn't even resolve Sai Vinu issue till the end and by all accounts he won't be a focus of new gen. That's surprising since the entire story from remarriage till leap was based on Sais decision to have a child and leaving CN because she didn't want P's parvarish.

Now Vinu maybe a troubled child... pampered by BK and spoilt, negating Sais intention. If he also doesn't become a Doctor... then that's cancelling Sais legacy.

The kids were introduced and were supposed to be this way... a part of Sai with V and a part of V with Sai. 💔

Killing SaiRat off might be a decision for practical reasons... but if they had taken inspiration from other shows, Sai and V could have been continued.. show a separation again and Saavi Vinu patching them up.. 🤪

Mansi Salve looks like a fine older Sai and so does Nimay Bali as an older V. 😉

Would have been a good story instead of this nonsense that I am reading.

To them it's a new show except savi vinu are only sairat child.. Neither savi nor vinu are carrying their parents legacy.. I don't feel anything for this new savi.Watcjed the clipping when bk slapped her ..Didnt feel anything for her.. Looks like they were not prepared to bring this new gen..another google translation of mohor.. They don't even probably know that mohor has already been remade on star plus... Till now they could not cast anyone as vinu... Slowly chavanis will phased out..

I don't think nimai would suitable to play virat.. Vanker could have move ahead with sairat bringing some popular elder actor like sameer soni.. He is fabulous.. His personality would suit to play a senior cop

however neutral review, I did try to watch first couple of episodes but clearly there’s some missing link, the execution is rushed and except Savi other characters are not at all established, Savi is also not much explored like her emotional side is completely missing, Ishan’s character is bleh, Reeva is genuinely very sweet but unfortunately this doesn’t go with her character because people are supposed to hate her character, imo, although unpopular, I feel Aishwarya Slayed there, the character Patralekha was supposed to make us hate her and she succeeded in it, which Reeva is lacking, one just feel only softness for her, Ishan’s family also seems boring and overly toxic plus the actors are also not helping much, they could’ve written far better intro scene for Bhonsle family….

overall the old charm is missing and Ghum doesn’t feel like Ghum, it def seem as if we are watching some different show, the writer and creative team lacked to maintain connection with the previous generation and last but not the least Ghum does seem Empty without Sai and Virat for real, they were indeed the soul of the show, however I wouldn’t entirely written off the current generation, they should take their time to adjust and hopefully things get better with time but as of now it’s little disappointing.

Thanks for this. You said it so right, it doesn't look like ghum. ML-PL not established as individual characters. Execution is shallow. We can connect only to BK-Ashnini-Savi for obvious reasons.

Toxicity needs balance....here emotional connect is missing due to random scenes put together. Hopefully in the next two weeks they will work for establishing the three main characters.

You said so right about Reeva, she is coming across as sweet n sorry to say just can't act.

LB (marathi ghum) started off as better version... it still is to some degree.... but even they have killed Raya/Samrat recently... and there are hints surrogacy will happen too... not watching...this is just from updates.

This is where it gets problematic... if they improve on the mistakes of Ghum... then nothing like it... but if they keep just copy pasting... then it will be a big problem.

to their credit.... Shruti was lot lot better than Ghum.

I have seen LB but I never found to be better than Ghum. Infact I can't ever keep KD above Ghum, KD had an awesome ensemble supporting cast but Ghum had stronger lead and in Hindi it's matter than having a good supporting cast!!

Moreover I found Ghum to be a realistic version, and there had been really better execution of some tracks than its regional counterparts.
