I was talking about the general content of shows...two men and a woman,two women and a man seems to be the content across all shows..it would be refreshing to see something else too

There are also some audiences who only switch off if they are bored and not for other reasons like EMA or cheating. There are other channels and shows that show refreshing content. As an audience, we do have a choice to select the ones we like and reject what we don't.

But as an audience, we don't have a choice to dictate terms to the channel or PH. We can try but if things don't go our way, kya hi kar sakte hai.

Besides, there's much much worse shown on ITV ( see Parineeti on Rangu) and people apparently still watch that completely toxic crapfest.

Ghum has gone downhill mostly since the surrogacy track and then the leap didn't help because PP was made into a heroine and they've their bestest to turn the actual heroine of the show into someone many dislike.

I keep reading about this show. So I just read Wikipedia for the storyline. Oh wow! Oh wow! How messy is that show 🤣

The male lead and one of the female leads have awesome chemistry, but they've written the SL in such a way and the character of Pari in such a way that watching the show leaves a bad taste in the viewers' mouth.

The other so-called female lead has been turned into a villain for an awful and undeserving man. Basically, nobody to root for and an endless amount of flashbacks to increase the number of episodes. Yuck!

This show is glorifying EMA so much .. like this Viju character is doing shit and Sai is glorifying it, if it was someone else then she would have given lecture like anupama on EMA (kinda like Anupama gave to Toshu)

But here Sai on mission to unite two love birds? Like what a stupidity story line, they were wrong before and now too!! They had kid even after being married to someone else.

How wrong is Bhavani here to disown her sister for this.. although Amba is at lesser fault, but atleast have the kid after married dude!

Nowadays people are so in hurry to make babies first.

No sympathy for current storyline.

Even nowadays Sai is trying to be so much chipku with Virat, so that he will not stop to keep craving for Sai.

Seriously makers should not show Viju as right person. He was so much like any other despo guy.

I think we can make list of serials encouraging EMA and defending them as far i have seen…ghum, udaariyan, parineeti(totally another level mess), yrkkh(don’t know y abhim always comes in between wife and husband), balh2(prachi josh and Raghav…if they wanted a couple together they shouldn’t make them engaged/marry other to late realisation then ditching partner for lover),dharam patni,imlie……plzz do continue this list

I think this show is more like KANK rather than Veer Zaara😆 VZ was such a pure love story❤️

I already gave mine in the earlier post. If people have a problem with the content, they can file a complaint with the IBF. If IBF accepts, then the content will be stopped. If not, the content will continue.

Also, SRK can't sue for using Veera Zaara's song. It is not his. It is YRF's property

Every other show in itv is like this!!

It is not going with our country - culture; we take pride in it - itv showing something totally different!!

Only few sane itv shows are at the bottom of trp race, mostly on Sony or SAB - I watch few of them.

on OTT it is another crap fest, without any build up or story requirements of sxx scenes, they are showing them like pxxx videos... I am afraid to put them on living room tv, even 😈 🤣

I ended up watching 'OMG' last night one more time, as I refuse to waste my time on any itv crap fest or OTT vulxxxfest !!!

After a point, I knew filing a complaint was futile, they had not broken any law by BCCC. So they were protected.

You know that it's fiction shtichk doesn't extend to the audience who consumes and spends money on this content, right? Using fiction as a scapegoat to sneak in biases doesn't work when we know that literary criticism, review, parody, satire are part of art consumption historically.

IBF president being Disney Star's MD has vested interest in not shutting a show. But audience is not bonded by a legal contract with IBF ka president urf Star ka MD to shut out any value-based assessment of the work na. Fiction hi toh hai koi divine mandate toh nahi hai ki chup chap dekh lo warna kat lo. Bure ko accha bolo warna Ektaa Kapoor ki atma akashvani karegi.

Otherwise no film/show would flop lol
