Absolutely! I complained, and I got responses ..a couple of my points were quoted and responded to.

I'm extremely happy with the fact that so many of us complained and the channel had to face a hearing. Yes, their reasoning may have been self serving and convenient. But it had an impact. They were held responsible.

It is possible to raise your voice and it should be done.

Be very specific.... describe the scene, the episode number in your complaint, even the dialogue, otherwise it will be dumped. Next, don't use real or rather off screen issues, again it will be dumped.

For only content, it is very much possible to complain.

Exactly! Remember surrogacy days! But the content that is being complained about has to violate the rules laid by IBF. Having an extra-marital affair is probably not one of it. But maybe if someone complained, we will get to know

It's so simple...If people stop watching regressive and morally questionable content,they will stop showing.

Here they know that, people will be curious to watch the climax of the long running show...So, people don't worry about the content.. That's why they are going through with this story line.

Calling out in SM platforms isn't going to change anything...IBF complaints too won't have much effect because I think even though there were numerous complaints, they completed the surrogacy track...The included a namesake episode where Pakhi was sent to jail and Virat was suspended.

If people collectively ditch all the shows,some change may happen...But it's not happening as it has become a habit to watch shows during dinner till sleep.

It's like the question of egg and hen...Does the viewer watch regressive content because channels keep dishing them out or channels are making such shows coz people are only crazy about this type of content

This show has failed big time in showing two timing, violence, ema, abusing, crime as love. Instead of showing all these as wrong and making them repent they started glorifying in name of love and justifying them . This is absolutely bullshit. No matter if you use srk songs or tom cruise dialogue a wrong is wrong a crime is crime you cannot justify them

Of course,if they like what they are watching, there's no problem ...If they don't like,they can only stop watching...All these protests in SM platform isn't going to change the story...Why to end up irritated and frustrated?

I was talking about the general content of shows...two men and a woman,two women and a man seems to be the content across all shows..it would be refreshing to see something else too

It is unhealthy and very very problematic

Putting toxic abusive content in the air and showing it as a right thing to do or end ma y9u will hailed as hero for abusing people woth no consequences is qrong message to send

I already gave mine in the earlier post. If people have a problem with the content, they can file a complaint with the IBF. If IBF accepts, then the content will be stopped. If not, the content will continue.

Also, SRK can't sue for using Veera Zaara's song. It is not his. It is YRF's property

P.S: I filed a complaint during surrogacy time. It was not accepted as valid. The episodes went on and till today, nothing happened. Do you know why? Because it is "fiction".

Surrogacy track really threw me off... I'm still very much disappointed with the channel...

However I'm going to be very practical and straight forward with my stance...

This is fiction and SaiRat are fictional characters... They are not cheaters in the eyes of makers nor by the target audience.. The story is about two people marries and then becomes lovers. Here no place for morality..Their loyalty lies only on each other..

Sai's character is just slice of reality that they wanted to portray through the story.. Still this is a fictional character and so is virat.. Real life abuses or ema are harsher than this .sadly it's happening everywhere around us..So I guess it's futile attempts seek justification on fiction.. If people really wants to do something then help those sisters or mothers around you who are actually the victim of a toxic relationship ..I think that's sounds more practical and sensible..
