That is one thing I probably don't understand. Justification kisi bhi baat ka nahi hota. Bas they present situations. It may be right or wrong. That is for the audience to intercept. We know it is wrong but Sairat is not having a full-blown affair as of now like Vijumba

I just want marketing to win over morals, especially for Ghum. Will that happen? 😭

ghum makers arent simply presenting things as is. they are doing it in such a way that the narrative and characters are all supporting the cheaters and blaming the victims. their lens is the problem. they are not presenting it and letting audience see the facts or the story and pick a side. they are forcing the narrative that Sai is the problem, V is bechaara, selfelss devtaa and P is also mahaan and bechaari throughout. thats why many of us are pissed. the triangles and these things like infidelity, etc are definitely very dramatic plot twists and people take almost voyeuristic pleasure in watching it. but the problem is not that they are showing that people cheat, relationships are complicated. they are deliberately stressing on the people who have committed actual crimes- as all being bechaara and getting forgiven and forgotten. full amnesia. nothing gets called out. and the victims are instead being blamed and made to do a full flip. why would Sai support a man like Viju knowing what he did. Why would she wanna be with a man who betrayed her in the worst possible way by abandoning her and picking P over her and their child even when he knew she had done criminal things! theres no way any residual love can trump that betrayal.

they are justifying cheating, two timing and showing that women should accept such pathetic men back in their lives. and thats a problem.

Makers ne pyaar vs farz ke mask ke piche literally kaand kiye hai. If they have no qualms in showing, sannu ki.
