My 2 cents, Sai is being phased out, pakhi is the new and only FL going forward. Virat is in ITA montage and Pakhi was given ss on par with Akshara in iTA ad.

For valentine's day special, it will be Virakhi montage along with Abhira and Anu-anuj. Sai will no longer feature in any SP montage.

Ph proved Virakhi also gets TRP, Pakhi might even win best adarsh bahu of Star in ITA awards.

I dont know the reason for such a treatment of Sai character, but reading the reason in thread is

Vivi and sukirti did not get along well either but never let it effect in their performance..

1 Neil-Aishwarya and Ayesha do not talk to each other, there is a cold war between them but they work together and we have seen many good Sairat scenes shot recently so I don't think it is Neil or Ayesha asking PH to add or delete those scenes

2 Actors work for 12 hours a day on set, they come and go home. This is their work, they are not invested in storyline like fans. They don't care about anything as long as the show is doing well and they are getting money

3 Channel and Production house spend millions on a single episode. Mrs Bhatt and Mr. Bhatt would be getting paid around 40k to 50k a day

I really doubt that Channel like Star and a production house which has 1 successful show is doing everything in their power to make Mrs Bhatt happy. She is not Narendra Modi or Amit Shah that people will put her before their source of income

It is not only a source of income but they are putting a lot of money in it everyday

4 The show is doing very well, They can't reunite Sairat right now because this track and suspence is getting them what they want - TRP

Channel wouldn't care about actor, there are people waiting for a chance to work in a prime time star plus show. Actors need Star

Star has a team of people who monitor TRP and social media platforms, Any decision in story is not taken by one person, even if someone in channel is bhakt of Bhatt couple...there isn't one decision maker

5 Ayesha, Aishwarya and Neil are popular because they are doing this show. None is doing a service to channel

Many won't like it but Neil and Aishwarya's MV had about 2 Million views when I saw it and Ayesha's MV has 2 million views too

These people outside Ghum and channel are no superstars. They are popular because of the show and it's characters

Look at big stars of big shows, where are they now?

6 Aishwarya needs an attitude check. The woman has more ego than brain, someone needs to teach her how to behave in public

She thinks she is real and that's some badass thing she is serving us but I saw her video with a media personnel the other day and her behaviour was really bad

Neil and Ayesha know how to behave in public so that's good

It's an assumption & assumptions are not truths.

There is a belief that Pakhi is whitewashed despite her huge crimes. But nobody answers why the character (along with Virat's) was butchered so badly in the first place. Pakhi in original bengali version was grey. But in hindi, Pakhi's character was made dark long before the surrogacy track. If there was so much influence over the script, Pakhi could have been made mahaan in surrogacy track by making her offer her womb after Samrat's death as a way of penance for creating conflicts in SaiRat's life. SaiRat's separation could have been the result of misunderstanding or conspiracy by BK like it happens in all shows - I have never heard of a show where the lead couple separate because the ML & FL commit crimes on FL. That way, post leap, every character would have gotten sympathy. But the way surrogacy track was written, one feels nothing but disgust towards Pakhi & Virat. I repeat, the problem is not Virakhi marriage but the way characters were destroyed pre-leap. Every big track in KD was covered in Ghum except Shruthi-2 track - and I can bet a million dollars that it would not have worked in Ghum. Hindi audience have a different taste and Virakhi marriage was actually a brilliant move..it would have gotten even better acceptance if they had retained V & P grey. So the show's mediocrity is not a result of favouritism but a poor writing team & a strange fascination with morbid toxicity. It's not just P & V that is whitewashed..every character is. BK commits honour killing & is hailed as a family woman to this day. Their pattern is to churn out toxicity through every character & then make Sai whitewash them. 😳

And like someone pointed out...Star is ruthless..it needs its shows to make money...no way it will cater to the whims of one actor & agree to lesser profits. There are multiple producers in Ghum & multiple decision makers in Star.

but with the trp thing i doubt ..I dont thing ghum is even close to their target despite the fact its giving goof promos every week...Only KK episodes which had crssed 2.6 margin..

I think the track is coming across so dark because it lacks crisp and their agenda is not reaching to the masses overall..

Only pakhi's character remained constant but virat has turned too black and inhumane ..On top of that the narrative of how they are gaslighting women and orphan doesnt let you enjoy the episode
