He is doing pretty well for himself..

Infact one of those actors who are doing great..

He won a lot of awards for Asur& now has bagged a Netflix web show.

Back then i was upset that he left, however now i am happy, bcz it's only one of the few shows on ITV which I can go back to, as it ended at the right time, without destroying the lead couple & on a happy note.

No wonder the show is still loved globally even today. This is what makes it unique. It was not unnecessarily dragged. Even today i can watch it without being bored and it feels the same as watching it when it was on air. Mr Sobti was absolutely right when he took the decision to leave.

I totally agree .. ipk should have ended 1 month earlier .. than it did but it still ended on a very good note .. compared to the all non ending love stories in star plus

If you compare it with yeh rishta .. akshara died ..

And then naira died .. and kartik married her humshakal sirat after promising undying love

Gopi bahu remarried after ahemji died

diya bati both died ..

Atleast in Ipk verse we know Arnav n khushi are living happily together .. they had adopted a kid and they had no issues like infertility so own kids bhi honge ..everyone in the family loved them both

They also gave a glimpse of their life in ek jashn, where it all looked happy , having a good life..

All Gul shows after that have had their leads dying.

So in a way this show was so much great as far as investment and watching experience is concerned..

You don't be salty abt it, u don't say with this track i won't be able to watch Arshi, see them in the same light... Had they gone ahead with Khushi falling in love with another man, which eventually would have ended within a month or two as star was anyway planning to launch Saraswatichandra & was buying time, it would have left us all so sad..

The show was abt jodi & not one character..it was abt the jodi , the show that strive on jodi ,should end when there is nothing much to tell instead of irrelevant dragging..infact the last track of the show was where Khushi kind of lost her self & it was the worst track of IPKKND, and that was just the start...

And he is also doing good for himself now..

He was acclaimed appreciated and got most of the awards for Asur..

He was phenomenal in that show. Now he has bagged a Netflix show as well. tV was not his thing, he has said it too many times that it was not possible for him to go on with it, for life.

Don't know how far these assumptions both sides are true..whether Bhatts have influence with makers or Mrs. Bhatt doesn't want hubby to be hero with anyone other than her, or Mr. Bhatt himself refused or whatever. Or it's only the makers who have a fetish for this kind of toxicity..

But one thing has become extremely clear.. Sai is no more a lead.. Pakhi is the one that is appearing on all channel events along with other shows jodis. I think Sai is only going to be an important side character of Virat's story, no more the heroine of her own.
