Your mental illness theory is the only way which can bail out virat now otherwise it's all doors closed on him. I sometimes feel pakhi is confused about vinu, like genuinely care for him or sometimes just a way to get near virat. This misfit marriage has dented virat and sairat and makers need to sell a strong reason to justify this and mental illness can be one.

Virat will slowly n steadily come back to his original self after meeting Sai. Then the paradigms will shift for all three. Virat's approach will define the path the leads relation takes. His heart will be with Sai n kids his mind play havoc due to zimmedari. Phir ayenge do parivar in intezar...

His heart will lead the way...n Sai being the righteous of all will stand by her character arc. She will not budge or ignore virat after knowing his marriage with P. She will go to any extent but now is a mother also.

Probably Virat will be allowed to meet Savi...that's it. About P2/P1, lines are blurring n virats flip is surprising though not unexpected. It's just to enhance drama quotient

perfectly put! If they want to show Virat as a good husband and SaiRat as eternal love story, this is the only way.

Yesterday I watched the episode couple of more times. Once objectively and once with my theory.

If I watch objectively, Virat's actions make NO sense. The person who was not even touching her, is suddenly friendlier (to some extent). I cannot explain this Virat at all. I cant imagine a person who didnt move a bit, moving towards her in 9 days! even under ITV standards.

But if you see Pakhi's behavior as a cycle, you can explain his behavior. The starting of this leap, when Vinu arrived in CN, Pakhi was in a happy space. Slowly you can see her degrading towards her breakdown in the bedroom fight. Now, when Virat agreed to the trip, she almost bounced back to normal self starting from doctor's cabin itself.

If you see this as a cycle we can explain several things related to Virat's behavior.

Even before meeting the doctor, he evaluated her. The camera panned on to her sad face. He agreed to the trip and they showed how her expressions changed in the doctor's cabin.

When they came back home, Virat already prioritized kankavli trip, to the extent of saying his family that they cant postpone it. If you go back to the doctor's office discussion, it is him who proposed the 'solution' of going back to doctor aunty, not the doctor and Pakhi accepted it with a smile.

But at home, he told his mom and aunt that he was going because "doctor ne aisa bola". Thats such a contradictory statement. As if he doesnt want anyone to feel 'in the presence of pakhi" that he is neglecting her. He is putting up a facade.

Bam, what happens to Pakhi. She is in reality/happy mode for a while. In SaiRat's room, she is ONLY being Vinu's mom. Not an obsessive mom, but a Mom who knows Vinu's happiness is important for Virat. Vinu is his life support after Sai's death. They discuss the aftermath of Sai's death as two friends. Virat doesnt shy away from taking Sai's name, and Pakhi doesnt flinch at her mention. This is the equilibrium Virat wants to bring in her.

Till then I had no problem. It went according to my theory.

Yesterday's episode, Virat continued to be in that mode where he refers to her as Vinu's mom. She is also positively frinedly with Vinu, not obsessive. However, what confused me is Virat trying to be extra nice to her, even when she is in her positive zone. He said 'unfortunately' the trip is cancelled. And observed her a sulking face a bit and said 'thank you'. If it is unfortunate, then why was he in a rush to cancel it? So yeah that part he just made up. He was putting uneccesary bandaid on the already settled things. He brought Pakhi into happy space as she was in the beginning episode of the leap.

Now, the unnexpected thing came up in the form of client case. He was not interfering in it, though he said it will be nice if she comes in the capacity as Vinu's mom. But he doesnt know Pakhi has gone into P2 phase already due to the panic of losing her time with Virat. Virat was constantly evaluating her. There was camera panning on his face which showed curiosity. Even when ashwini spoke those pitiful words, he was not happy. He doesnt want to push her into that 'sad' phase. However, he was not ready to stop for her also. He wanted to escape. When he saw her crying, he immediately went and 'behaved' as a friend cheering her up and making her stay like a supportive husband. The last dialogue that he wants to see that 'courage' in her made sense.

See this virat and this conflicting Pakhi makes sense to me! Not the virat who was not even touching her for 5-6 years and suddenly moving friendlier with her. This is a cycle, Virat is keeping up with. When Pakhi falls into melancholy, he will lift her up.

Tomorrow, if I am correct Pakhi is in P2 mode...putting up a facade infront of him. Because she was thinking about missing the trip with him but asks whether she is a good mom or not. This is classic Pakhi (P2). Virat thinks she is in P1 mode, and trying his best to not to push her into P2. But tomorrow if she hugs, it means she is in P2 mode and we have to see how Virat responds. He might cringe (good sign) and confused becuase P1 doesnt behave like this. and then get shocked realizing it is P2. If P2, then he will hug or pat on her.

Sorry I am stuck to my theory, but nothing makes sense otherwise. Virat flipped a big time in 9 days. Unless it is deliberate, there is no logical explanation.

I feel they don't have any such theory as we're overthinking. They don't think too much. For example at the first scene in today's episode he was in a very friendly zone with her unlike towards the end when she was actually crying. He was reserved. That was surprising. Also it's dialogues so far which has been saving his character so far cus Neil doesn't maintain the same body language in every scene. It varies like in yesterday's episode he created the distance very well with his voice, expressions & body language in their bedroom or towards the ending of first scene in today's episode during the neck pillow thingy. They're playing with psych with viewers. Like last week it was explicitly focussed he touched her hand. I doubt they're putting much thoughts anyway.

And about the doctor ne bola was he meant doctor said to not stop his treatment. But the trip getting cancelled didn't matter to him in that sense. His priority was Vinu's health so he was kind of trying to tell her & making up that there are good places to visit at the village even if we're not going to Maldives. Plus he's like gharwale chahte the hum Maldives jaye. Woh khudse jana nehi chahta tha.

Thats why I say that V fake marrying PP doesn't change anything! Ultimately he has cheated on Sai. Period. When Sai comes back, how is she supposed to feel?! And to think that she will be made to settle for a man who placed a criminals mental health over her memories, their relationship! chee. Instead of getting a mentally ill person institutionalized he opted to lifelong enable all her delusions. Waah. What an amazing guy. So he would rather live a life of fakeness than do the right thing and honor his dead wife over this "project" pp he has taken up. Is pp- the woman who destroyed his wife Sai more important than justice for Sai. Sai clearly said before leaving that she cant stand pp in that house. And he didn't honor his dead wife's words, her last wish? If he's feeling guilty over pp condition, he can fund her treatment, hire a nuse 24x7 . Why go down route marriage even if its "fake" ? And now when Sai comes back- will she get a chance to even ask him all these questions or will he get labelled mahaan and only Sai bashed for it all. Will he acknowledge that he made a mistake to marry/fake marry pp and separate from her or is that responsibility towards pp bigger than his love for Sai? Is it really love that he has for Sai if he could even for namesake be ok with another woman being his wife for all these years? Is it really love that he has for Sai if he will only get furious at her and never stop to consider why she did these things. If Sai had come back instead of hiding, then what? What if Sai had another miscarriage in that toxic hell hole? is there any guarantee he would not have snatched Savi and given it to PP if she had come back? He already did it once. Why should she hsve trusted him. Did he give her any reason to? He didn't even investigate if she's really dead. Just accepted it ..Would he not have put her through watching him being with PP as her caretaker again- he made her tolerate him-pp throughout pregnancy/surrogacy, he made her go through the pain of learning Shruti being his namesake wife already.... Still no lessons learnt!

Basically V is a douchebag and unfortunately Sai loves him and was stuck in an emotional rut and a toxic vicious cycle. She escaped it briefly but now will get trapped again. There are only 2 ways out-

1. Sai leaves again. This time with every legal formality checked off.

2. V takes ownership, gets rid of all the pathetic people he calls family - pp included and chooses Sai.

Ye show TRP audiences ke liye hain aur woh log itna sochte nahiin hain . Virat Pakhi ke shaadi ka kohi bada Karan nahiin hoga . Virat ne Vinu ke liye aur family ke pressure mein aake shaadi ki hogi .

Virat is reserved and friendlier speakiing about Sai too when Pakhi is in P1 zone. He is overprotective, thankful and acts when Pakhi is in P2 zone. Last episode though he has overdone. I agree. He blurred the lines.

exactly. I was able to pinpoint to this bipolar disorder few episodes back, now it is blurry.

I will wait for how he behaves with Sai. I am anyways prepared to accept his marriage and settle with a 'lesser' and 'dumb' SaiRat.

Neerja, he is not placing criminal's mental health over sai's memories. Rather he took responsibility of her health that got deteriorated due to his stupid decisions. He is paying for his mistakes, which is good. It elevates his character. That is one quality of Virat Chavan.

If they show mental illness and him supporiting her because he was responsible for that, makes him mahan. And in the process, he never forgave her and given her any place in his life elevates his love. Only if they can show him like that 😭

See I dont know about TRPs etc. I am looking from story point of view. Characters point of view. Virat cant flip like that in 9 days. I cant ignore the bedroom fight. There is KD where this plot is there.

And now it looks like ujjanpur track by the looks for it. he cant go and romance Sai if Pakhi is his wife (in any capacity). It will butcher his character. He is basically two timing like Sai claimed during anniversary. If they show him like that, then it is a very bad writing. Makes no sense to me.

Virat being angry with Sai is justified. his life is spoiled. He could have died. That complaint and anger will be there for him. Like I said more the pain, more the anger. Just do role reversal, we wil understand better.

I am ok with him being angry with his wife for what she has done but he cant cheat her with Pakhi even if she is dead. that will go against the entire suffering Sai meted out. If they can handle that better, I dont mind him being a jerk with Sai in anger for a while.

Leads romancing eo while being married to others is a common troupe in ITV.

Tbh if this isn't for Bhatt couple and offscreen mess I could think this track could've gone down towards vaada track after things cool down a bit b/w Sai & Rat after this face off then Sai finds out he's married Pakhi but that was different era of Ghum. It's too good to be true...

From shruti track to here, he had set no boundaries there. I saw from Vineet's entry. That hug was so cringe 😬 here it's much better to be precise.

But at the same time, he isn't totally aloof or duniya/gharse bekhabar virat. He shares everything regarding Vinu, that's why she was angry when he hid vinu ki injury wali baat.,baaki makers ka pata nhi kia dikhayenge but it shall happen like you said it

Shruti track was unbearable. He continued changing the clothes infront of Shruti yikes as if he was trying to prove a point or it looked like some nok jhok b/w a couple if you see that as standalone 🙄
