Before anything, I have to say that this will be a shocking chapter.
I am 98,57% sure you will like it. If my prediction goes wrong then it's only your fault not mine. 🤣

But let me tell you it's the original story that was in my head so didn't change anything to go by the story of the show.

So without spoiling, I will leave you here but before that I have to remind you that it's pretty late here and I don't have the time to proofread. Forgive me for the grammatical errors and all the senseless phrases. 😆

Sai couldn’t stop from pacing up and down, disturbed by a lot of things. Why was Vinayak so unhappy with the Chavans ? What happened that he had to run away from the house ? And then there was something else that was troubling her ? Was Vinayak even her son ? If not then where was her Vinayak ? To get rid of her weird thoughts she called her best friend.

« Sure I can help you but I don’t understand what’s the issue. », Dev sighed.
« Please, hurry up. It’s urgent. », she pleaded with him.
« Give me an hour. I will call you back. », he said.

Meanwhile, Virat looked at his sulking son from the other side of the door. The world was actually so small or else how could have his son found his real mother from nowhere ? How did he know Sai was his real mother ?

Dev called Sai back as promised and her weird thoughts were turning into something she didn’t want it to be true. Science had some basic rules but sometimes it could also rebel and be confusing. She prayed for the latter. She needed to know the truth but how?


A few days had passed since Sai’s drastic step to keep Saavi away from her father. Virat not willing to accept the situation filed for a joint custody. Both the parents were ready to fight for their child. After the first trial Virat already got the idea that Sai had more chances to win. He met her outside the court in order to beg one more time but Sai stood firm.

« Can you return my son ? No ? Then forget about Saavi. I can't be the one always sacrificing and you being the one taking everything away from me. », she said.
« I did not have any other choice back then, Sai. », Virat tried to defend himself.
« You did have but you preferred to side with your family rather than your wife and child or even your duty. This uniform doesn't suit you anymore. You are one of those officers who take advantage of the uniform. You are a fraud. », she lashed out at him.

She walked away leaving him thoughtful. She was right. For his family he misused his power. No wonder he was facing so many struggles in his career.


The next following days Saavi terribly missed her « Mister Cop » and was headstrong to meet him. Meanwhile, Vinayak also missed his « Sai Maa » and rebelled against the entire family. Seeing the difficulties Sai was going through, Dev decided to pay them a visit. He knew how to handle Saavi when her mother couldn't. And he didn't have to do much to lighten up the little one's face. She was so happy to see him, eating the chocolates he brought for her and complaining about her mother to him.


One day prior the next hearing, Sai was sharing her fears with Dev. She couldn't hold her tears, fearing that Virat will take Saavi away from her. Dev wiped away her tears and hugged her to give her the strength she needed. Saavi who heard the entire conversation went numb. Was her « Mister Cop » the bad guy who was trying to separate her from her mother ? Was her mother right about him ? She walked in the middle of the conversation.

« Why is Mister Cop trying to snatch you from me ? », she confronted her mother.

Sai was surprised by the question. She didn't know what to reply. She never wanted Saavi to learn the truth about Virat being her father.

« Because Queen Saavi is priceless and anyone would want to possess her. », Dev helped his friend then lifted the girl up, « No one will take your mom away from you. »
« Is Mister Cop a bad cop ? », she asked innocently.
Dev looked at Sai then replied, « No, but sometimes we hurt people we love the most. He loves you a lot. »
« But he is just Mister Cop. Why would he want to take me away ? I am no one to him. », she asked.
« Don't listen to your mom. She is just a little emotional. », he hugged her tight to reassure her. « I was thinking about taking Queen Saavi out on a date but I guess that's not gonna happen as she is too busy with her questions. », he tried to divert her mind.
« Yeaaaaaah, that's like my King Dev. Is mumma coming with us ? », she was excited.
« I don't know. Should the pawn join the king and the queen ? », Dev joked.
« Huh ? How mean ! », Sai sulked.
Saavi laughed and with pride said, « Yeah, we can let the pawn join the feast. Mumma Pawn, please, follow the queen and the king. »


The next day in the court, Sai proved her ability to be a single mother and take care of her child. She proved how much she loved her daughter. It was clear that Sai and Saavi wouldn't get separated but about sharing her child with her ex husband was still undecided. There was no reason to keep a father away from his daughter.

Back home, Sai was determined to win. To keep the Chavans away from her daughter she was even ready to use the past.


The next day, she started her hunt for the evidence. She already had the proof that years back Pakhi had sent goons to stop the surrogate mother from reaching the hospital in time to replace herself with her. Sai decided to go to the hospital and find more records to prove Pakhi's manipulations. Her gut feeling was telling her that there was more about it.


One fine day Sai received a message from Vinayak while she was in the middle of her mission. She rushed to the location sent by him. He had bunked off school as this was the only way to meet his mother. Sai hugged him but told him not to do it ever again. He was too young to roam around the city all alone but they anyhow spent good time together. Then her negative thoughts came back to haunt her. She decided to take him to the hospital where she worked before dropping him to the school where one of his family members would come to pick him up without doubting anything.


The report in her hands, she stormed in Chavan Niwas.

« VIRAT CHAVAN... WHERE ARE YOU ? VIRAT, VIRAT... WHERE ARE YOU HIDING ? WHERE ARE YOU HIDING MY SON ? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY SON ? », she shouted.
« Heeeey, why are you screaming, screeching, shrieking, like a banshee ? », Sonali came down.
« Shut up you fraudster. Get your nephew here. », Sai replied.
« Didn't your father teach you to respect the elders ? », Bhavani showed up.
« VIRAT CHAVAN ! », Sai ignored her.
« What happened ? Why are you screaming ? », Virat finally showed up.
« Where is my son ? What happened to my son ? », Sai held him by the collar.
« He is upstairs ? Why would anything happen to him ? », he said.
« Not him ? My real son ? Our son, our Vinayak. », she shouted.
« What ? Is everything ok with you ? », he asked confused.
« Mad girl, always needs drama. », Sonali laughed.

Sai pinned the file against his chest. Virat opened it, read it and looked at her confused.

« I did a DNA test. He is not my son for sure. Then where is my son ? Who is my son ? Do I even have a son ? », she questioned him with tears.
« Calm down, Sai. It must be a mistake. Vinayak is the same Vinayak you left with us, I promise. », he tried to calm her down.
« Patralekha, PATRALEKHA COME OUT NOW. », she screamed again.

Pakhi wanted to hide but she was a little too late. Sai signed her to come down.

« Either you tell me the truth or I am going to call the police. », Sai threatened her.
« I don't know what you are talking about. », Pakhi replied.
« Oh you know very well. You did so much to become the surrogate mother just to get Virat that I won't be surprised if you did something else with the procedure. », Sai said.
« What rubbish ! », Pakhi replied.
« Don't worry I am not in a hurry but your time is over. », Sai defied her and took place in the living room.
« What are you doing ? », Bhavani asked confused by her attitude.

Before Sai could reply, she received a message from Dev. Dev found out something by the help of his doctor friend. She sent him the Chavan Niwas address and waited for him. Half an hour later Dev stormed in and when his eyes fell on Pakhi he was shocked.

« What the hell are you doing here, Pats ? Oh now I got it ? Same Patralekha. No wonder this is so messed up. », Dev commented.
« Youk now her ? », Sai asked.
« Very well. Introducing you the most manipulative woman in the world. », Dev replied.
« Tell me something I don't know. », Sai taunted Pakhi.
« Ok then introducing you my dear cousin sister. », Dev continued.

Sai looked at him with her mouth wide open. The Chavans looked at Pakhi confused.

« Close your mouth. », Dev lifted Sai's chin up. « Or else in Saavi's language yummy yummy flies will fly into your mouth. », he added imitating Saavi.

For a second Sai's tension, turmoil and confusion disappeared and she couldn't stop from smiling. Dev knew how to change people's mood. Virat glared at both of them. Their bond looked so strong that the jealousy brushed his entire body. Dev went into serious mode again and showed her the papers.

« Hello cousin, when will you make yourself a better person ? No don't answer, waste of time. », he said to Pakhi then turned towards everyone, « Pats' dad is my maternal uncle. How did the family fall out and what happened between us cousins is not important. »
« What are you doing here ? », Bhavani was losing her patience.
« That's right, ma'am, let's come straight to the point. », he said to Bhavani then turned towards Sai, « If I remember correctly, you said your ex husband and your in-laws knew about Pakhi kidnapping the surrogate mother and switching with her. »
« Yes ! », Sai comfirmed.
He looked at everyone one by one and then looked at Virat, « The IVF wasn't a success like you all thought and when she came to know about it... oh damn why am I telling you this ? Let's call the proof itself, Dr. Vidhi Singh, who did a terrible sin for a few bundles of cash. »

Dr.Vidhi Singh entered the house.

« Come on tell us what happened next. », Dev said.
« Mrs. Patralekha Salunkhe desperately wanted to have a child so she went for another IVF. », Vidhi explained.
« What are you saying ? », Virat shouted.
« The truth. I am sorry but you and your wife aren't the biological parents of the child she carried in her womb. », Vidhi blasted out the truth.
« Pakhi, what is she saying ? Is it true ? », Virat looked angrily at Pakhi.
« I... I... Virat... », Pakhi fumbled in fear.
« Oh my God I can't believe this. How could you do this to me, to us ? », Virat was shocked.

The Chavans went numb by the revelation. They didn't want to believe it.

« Who are the biological parents of Vinayak ? Do you even know it or not ? », Virat screamed at Pakhi.
« I have another bombastic news which even Patralekha doesn't know. Sai mentioned to me about her brother-in-law, Samrat Salunkhe and coincidentally it turned out to be the real father is Samrat Salunkhe. », Dev said.
« WHAT ? HOW ? », everyone said at the same time.
« That I don't know. Come on, am I supposed to collect all the informations ? Now it's your time to do the hard work. », Dev joked.
