SS: Story of Vinayak and Saavi - Update page 17 - Page 9

Sorry for the delay. Nowadays, I don’t get the inspiration to write.
But I wanted to please all of you who wanted an update.

I loved writing on Sai the savage and Virat the vulnerable.
I won’t spoil. So please read and let me know how it was.

Vinayak didn’t mention to Sai that he saw her in the Chavan Niwas. It was too soon to tell her that she was his mother. He didn’t even know the reason why she abandoned him and feared that she would do it again if she comes to know about his real identity. Once he questioned his father on that matter but he refused to answer by saying that he was too young to understand. Virat on the other hand could feel that his son was a little happier than before but he didn’t know the actual reason of his happiness. Meanwhile, not being able to see his daughter was upsetting him day by day. He decided to try to meet Saavi again and convince Sai to let him see his daughter.

Saavi spotted Virat outside their house from the window and sneaked out while the nanny was busy in the kitchen preparing her meal. She came to the living room to check on her and found the door open. Saavi was having a chat with her « Mister Cop » in a quiet voice. She didn’t want to interrupt them and break the little girl’s heart but she was ordered not to let them meet.

« Saavi go inside. And you mister stop coming here. », she yelled at both of them.

Virat blinked his eyes and signed her to go inside. He left immediately after apologizing to the elderly woman. For a while she didn’t want to inform Sai about the incident but she also didn’t want the same thing to happen again and see the little kid’s heart break each time.

Sai didn’t say a word to Saavi but decided to take action. It was time to make her ex-husband understand in a better way if he wasn’t ready to understand in words. Soon after, Virat received a legal notice. While he was completely devastated by the strict action taken by Sai, she was on her way to the Chavan Niwas. An hour ago she found a phone in Saavi’s room. The little girl ended up confessing that it was given by her « Mister Cop » so that they could stay in touch. This situation was frustrating her. On one hand she could feel the father-daughter bond and on the other hand she was too scared to lose her child all over again.

For the second time in years, she stormed into the house and smashed the phone on the floor once she was near Virat.

« How dare you teach my daughter to hide things from me ? What will you do next ? Teach her how to lie ? », she questioned him.
« How dare you enter our house and behave so brutally ? », Bhavani questioned her.
« Oh please just shut up. », she said irritated, « It’s between us. You stay away of it. », she added.
« This kind of behavior isn’t accepted here. », Omi said.
« That kind of hypocrisy coming from a criminal isn’t acceptable. », Sai retorted.
« Can you see it ? Your wife is calling your kaka a criminal and you are silent. », Sonali intervened.
« I am not his wife anymore. », Sai reminded her.
« Can I deny the truth ? », Virat asked Sonali. « Can you all keep quiet, please. », she requested everyone. « Sai, why are you doing this to me ? You want to punish me ? Take revenge on me ? Please, think rationally. Don’t you think Saavi needs her father’s name ? », he questioned her.
« Stop begging her for a child that’s not even yours. », Omi said.
« Enough, Omi kaka. One more word and I will forget that you are my uncle. I can still send you behind bars so be careful of what you say about my daughter. », Virat exploded.

Sonali rested her hand on her husband's shoulder to stop him. She didn’t want to turn Virat against them just for their dislike for Sai.

« Sai, I will fight for my daughter. », Virat continued.
« Your wish but put that in your head that I am not the same Sai anymore. I am a successful doctor, I have the money and so far I have raised her pretty well. I won’t lose this time », Sai warned him.

Virat looked at her. He didn’t want her to lose this time either. He just wanted to have rights to be legally in Saavi’s life, the daughter he always wanted even before having kids. Sai glared at him one last time. This time she was ready to win against him and his entire family of criminals. She then turned around ready to leave.

Vinayak who had witnessed the entire scene from the stairs murmured a timid « Sai maa ». Sai stopped. She felt strange and restless as if someone was calling her name. She turned around and looked towards the stairs. Vinayak while trying to hide himself slipped in the stairs and fell down.

« Vicky… », Sai ran towards him.
« Vinayak.. », the Chavans did the same.
« Vicky, are you ok ? Are you hurt ? », Sai who was the first one to reach asked him.
« Sai maa… », he hugged her tight.

And then the realization happened to Sai that Vicky was her Vinayak. She now knew why this little boy was affecting her so much and why she was so attached to him. Just like Saavi and Virat were bonded by blood without knowing each other’s existence the same way Sai and Vinayak were too. Sai felt everyone’s eyes on her.

« How do you know Vinayak ? Since when? What are your plans ? », Virat bombared Sai with question.
« Baba relax. », Vinayak intervened immediately. « We met when I was in the hospital. She treated me. », he added.
« Why didn’t you tell me your real name ? », Sai asked him.
« So that no one finds me. », he replied.
« Why not ? », she asked.
« Enough ! Patralekha take Vinayak in his room. », he ordered her.

He didn’t want Sai to know that their son wasn’t happy with them and that he longed for her. Paakhi executed and dragged Vinayak forcefully upstairs.

« What’s going on here ? Why is my son so unhappy ? Why did he run away ? », Sai questioned him angrily.
« None of your concern. », he replied.
Sai burst out laughing nervously and clapped sarcastically, « Wooow the award of the worst father goes to Virat Chavan. The way you snatched my son from me, I thought he will be in good hands. But how could I forget ? How will my son be in good hands in the middle of all the criminals. I am sure you all treated him as badly as you treated me when I was in this family that’s why he is suffocating here. », she lashed out at everyone and then held Virat by the collar, « What have you done to my son ? »

Virat didn’t say a word. She was so right. Vinayak wasn’t happy and his family was a bunch of wrongdoers. He was stuck with them just because they were his family. He ruined his love life and his career by protecting them.

« Vinayak is perfectly fine with us. Your concern for him as a mother is understandable but you have no right on him anymore so please you may leave now. », Paakhi said walking down the stairs.
« Are you scared Patralekha ? », Sai taunted her.
« No but you should be. You might lose your second child too because of your stubbornness. », Paakhi taunted her.
« We will see Patralekha. », Sai defied her.

Sai glared one last time at Virat who didn’t have the courage to defend her. Why would he ? After all they weren’t married anymore and he was a coward from the beginning. He had nothing to lose unlike her. Yes, she was still afraid no matter how brave she was trying to portray herself in front of the Chavans.
