The idea of complaining before its shown is the hope that the outrage will make them tweak the scenes. Coz we know that they are very cut to cut with respect to shooting. So its just the hope that some criticism or mocking will hit home and lead to a change for good. Because they have changed promos , precaps overnight. We had a precap of fake pregnancy but it never materialized so people speculate before hand so that the worst possible outcomes are veted against by audience. But if makers still opt to show that then we can file complaint and say- we told you dont give this crap. So now atleast fix it. We protested against surrogacy, it happened so we said ok at least punish it so half heartedly they called it out. Real mein kuch punishment nahi hua. But it was something..
I am convinced that the whole virat pp forced scenes is 100% due to off screen equations. There is enough meat for both drama and separation even without pp. They could have shown Sai file a complaint against V also apart and pp and V feeling let down by that, MU and separation. Or they could have shown pp blackmail them about implicating elders but Sai disregsrd it and hence MU. It'd been silly anyway but it would have been better than what we got. We have all seen how NB and wife behave so we know that if left to their devices lots of cringe can happen so the SM calling out is to try prevent them for going overboard. This is not their home production or bedroom!
Makers on the show have been showing any crap but still trying their level best to make PP bechaari and V mahaan. The thing is online audience has mostly rejected it. If the unprofessional couple was not unsavory in real life they could have got away with even more cringe with less criticism.
NB saying he finds the scenes silly or unconvincing himself does not mean anything to me. He has been able to influence scenes in the past and he has also been able to give a good performance regardless of being Convinced - like hand holding and then apology scene after that. People have equally "mocked" Sai's scene of 43+22 being as ridiculous as V videocalling during mission.
In my mind NB is asking for criticism given the utterly substandard quality of his performances. The worst part is he IS capable of better. He has shown it in this very show and even between his crap scenes he gives a decent take here n there. So if he chooses to be lazy, weild his influence to ghusao his offscreen equation in the show, if he does not improve in his performance then he is going to get called out.
Audience invests time, and money (HS subscription, cable connection/bill) into the show and the loyal online fans are the ones who give them visibility and popularity. So they are accountable. Tv serials unlike films are responsible to cater to us. Film mein its not fair to say- oh why this instead of that. We can opt to not watch based on reviews or trailer itself. But tv shows evolve on a daily basis based on audience reaction.. so the argument that its "their" story and if we dont like it we can stop watching does NOT entirely hold for tv shows. Obviously everyone has a threshold and if that is breached we will stop watching entirely. But the point is unlike an already completed project like a finite series or a film- where everything has been shot, edited and completed full n final before they release it for audience consumption , ITV soaps DO have the room to incorporate audience fedlings, feedback, input. Ekta had to bring mihir back to life from dead due to audience demand in kyunki saas bhi.
We know to leave our brains behind if the plot twist is to our liking. The outrage is because they have accommodated too much offscreen BS at the cost of the show's plot and their USP which is Sairat.
