So i had this thought inspired by another post i read.
If there are any writers/media people in the forum, please do participate.
Why does ITV not make too many finite dramas with seasons like in the west.
Why cant they think of an engaging, tightly knit plot with logic, research, good production value in terms of design/costumes/etc etc and most importantly an engaging plot.
I dont think we as audience would have a problem with a 100-200 episode waala tight knit show.
Why does itv have this "kuch bhi chalta hai" vaala attitude.
I know several shows like naagin, balh, ekdv, saathiya, etc etc have had season 2s and 3s etc etc but those are often completely different shows that just hinge on the popular name of the show to attract attention.
Maybe krpkab had legit continuity in characters atleast but i didn't watch that show fully so cant speak about it...
But whats the problem with finite dramas?
Give a good plot, something memorable, and let actors also find other new exciting projects. Keep everyone on their toes.
What's the fulfillment they all get in making an illogical pathetic plot full of "twists" that make ZERO sense.
The itv plots are not ablut creative liberty but doing some f**kall drama
Whats itv ka larger problem.
Why this obsession with running for years and years?!
