He definitely tops the victim list and I always felt bad for him. He defintely felt betrayed by his wife and his brother. And his brother's betrayal did really hit him the most. But what I didn't like was that he left everything behind him. His mother, family and even his job. 😕 That was quite disappointing. He could have just divorced Pakhi or left for mission. There were too many options instead of being a bhagoda. 😕

Sai and Samrat are both victims. In fact, Sai is a bigger victim than Samrat. That poor girl didn't have much options and had to concede for marriage. Also she didn't have any idea that her husband's past will be living with them under the same roof and torture her at every chance. Samrat, on the other hand had an option to confront Didi and Virat and put an end to that sham marriage. Instead he took the coward's way out, abandoning his widowed mother because of a woman he hardly knew. Ok, he took a decision in haste. But why didn't he come back after few days and put his mother out of this misery? What he did was utterly selfish.

Exactly!! What is his mother's fault in all this..She is left with a bahu who has no concern about her husband being alive or dead and who busy sniffing her devar's shirt!!

If u take it in that perspective - yes! Accepting ur spouse's past itself s tough! Living with ur spouse's ex under the same roof is another level of torture!

Had the ex been not this overbearing and interfering, it would still have been less stressful but more of emotional pain.. here its both!! And ofcourse the family who joins in the ex to ridicule her on day to day basis!!

I guess Mansi Bua position is really the worst. Samrat decided he didn't want this deception of a marriage and walked out but poor thing mansi Bua - he ought to hv thought abt her at least. He cud hv spoken to her at least and not gone MIA.

Yes, I agree. Samrat is the only person who didn't know anything before the marriage. Sai has formed a habit of crying about the DEAL just like Patralekha shouting from rooftops about Virat's PROMISE. So, Samrat is the only victim in this show.

I am not saying what Samrat did was right at all! But he was the only one who got into this farce of a marriage with real hopes of marriage and hence was shattered.

But of course staying MIA isn't the best way to handle things! He shud hv confronted people and handed over a divorce!! Then at least Sai cud hv been at peace bcoz Pakhi wud hv moved out of the house.

I accept Samrat is a victim. But most his problems are his own making. He had a choice but Sai didn't, despite knowing the truth.

He should have confronted both Pakhi and Virat together. Then he could have made a choice of staying with Pakhi or divorcing her. This running away simply increased the problems, gave Pakhi a reason to play victim (which she is not) and made his mother miserable.

For your kind information he only said it once as far as I can remember. But, Sai keeps on ranting everytime. And, anyway which guardian will go out of his / her way to make his / her responsibility happy and be so concerned about his / her well being?
