Worst written ML ever?

I haven't seen such a blah ML ever.

Even though most ITV MLs are not worth rooting for, they have atleast one good quality. He may be a typical son of a stupid family but will be honest, kind and soft to the FL. He may be arrogant and rude, but will believe in same rules for himself and wife. He may be very, very weak, but not be egoistic or abusive. He may be dumb and useless, but will stand against family if they commit a crime.

Virat must be the only ML in the history of ITV who doesn't have even a single good quality. Easily the worst ML ever.

Thank u to say that , jiske shaadi sai jaise ho uske liye ye sab se bada achievement hai , hope he turn more worst .

I hope sai had married jagtap he would had turned into best ML ever by Marrying sai. I know in future he will make his re entry.

When I make this post, I'm actually ranting against the writers, not the character Virat perse. I'm not intending to offend anyone. Sai, Pakhi are just fictional characters - they can be moulded and presented in any way as per the imagination of the writers. When they are written consistently, sensibly and given layers one can root for then despite their flaws.

The writers have messed up Virat's characterization so badly. I'm convinced they hate Virat - to them, he is a dispensable character.

I'm writing my opinion here for the first time though I have been following the show as well as the forum posts very closely. I totally agree with you that they have done a very poor characterisation of the male lead. In future they will also show that the very independent female lead returns back to him for love.But as a woman I would never want to spend the rest of my life with this man and in that house. I wouldn't want Sai to return to Virat. The makers have wasted two good actors and two perfect characters due to lack of creativity.

Show something sensible. Show some growth in Sai and Virat. Show them overcoming their flaws - becoming better people. Don't butcher them.

Show Virat as intelligent as he was in the initial episodes. Virat was supposed to be calm, composed diplomatic - having grown up in a joint family. People who grew up in joint families will understand his POV. That doesn't mean you show him mute in face of injustice. Chavans are not a normal joint family - they are pure evil. Anyone sensible will leave that madhouse - if you cannot show that due to TRP, give him dialogues, make him take a stand.

Show his monologues - to give some insight into what he is thinking. For heaven's sake give him some depth.

Have consistency in Virat's characterization. Don't blindly copy Rono's character into Virat's.

I have been asking the same question: Is Virat a protagonist or an antagonist of the show? Showing Virat as a Hero, what are makers promoting?

I have always favored SaiRat...But now, I don't want Sai with Virat at all....They have butchered Virat's character..By keeping Sai with Virat after all this nonsense, they will ruin Sai's character too...

Not sure, is it deliberate by the makers to show these episodes and Virat's atrocious behavior for people like me who wanted SaiRat to change my view for Virakhi? At this juncture of the show, I definitely don't want Virat for Sai...Sai is much better alone..

Past two episodes he has been reduced to a side character who is shown reacting to punch dialogues of lead and vamp and family.

Sometimes even Omi gets more dialogues than ML.

I thought thats why they have Sonali/ Karishma/Mohit for and they are doing pretty good job at it.

ML should do more than reacting and emoting.

Vankar needs to hire a writer for ML asap and channel a new CD.

One word if he say sai pakhi samrat dada ki wife hai enough for her Vankar sir and writer not give him dialogues just expression only .
