And also mention that Pakhi is his brother's wife and dont cross the respectable line infront of Sai, his silence speaks much, but his words will speak assurity to Sai, which is much needed now.

I think it was like "lo phir se shuru ho gayi. Thakthi nahi hai kya yeh taane maarne se" kind of a reaction and turned his face.

I would have also liked him speaking up but may be he is too weak and doesn't have energy to fight or argue?

When we do good things, or something nice, we feel really energetic, like him getting romantic or getting into a cute banter. Those kind of things gives him strength actually, it is a pleasant feeling. However, when one has to fight or argue or getting into any unpleasant conversation, it needs energy, those unpleasant talks drains out energy from a person, so may be he let Sai do the talking? He knows that Sai is capable enough to handle Pakhi and he is not in a mood to get into any arguments with this lady whom he has already asked to leave.

We feel this way because the same dialogue was used during the ousting too and he was quiet back then. But Virat isn't in a position to think any of these. He has just come out of a surgery, he couldn't even talk to Pakhi or Sai without going through discomfort.

He is speaking when needed I guess, like telling Pakhi that it is her who should leave the room.

We can see what he does if she speaks later at CN, now I think the above said reason is why he is not defending Sai.

Trust me, even I give up sometimes when I am tired or when I have no energy left in me to fight a negative person. It really requires a lot of energy.

Yup I got pissed for not stopping pakhi from calling kudhgarz, but I don't think he is wrong in this condition ,he is week and so happy to see his baiko right now he actually not ready to think anything else, he stopped pakhi yesterday and ignored her royally and even talked to her feeling disgusted but today when she said that sai is arguing with you, he so casually said we talk like that, he talked with the smile to the same person , with whom he was pissed few minutes back, he forgot all the drama that happened before sai came and spoke to pakhi so casually explaining about sairat banter, so I believe for a moment he is only happy in his wife and not thinking about anything and more even if we see history ( when sairat in same team) he always let sai talk first and he will back her up when he feel she need help.

I know, my first reaction was laugh reading your statement "some take as persisted feelings and some as approval". That is why I said it is a loss for him and people around him too.

Now he has been moulded that way, will take time for him to change. You remember how I say that it will take time for Sai to change in a few ways, she has got her own flaws and so does he. The reason for both is the household they grew up in. How he has always been living because his mom has probably taught him to? Or by looking at his mom? Or because that was expected and only way of survival in this mad house.

Didn't Ninad say that even Virat doesn't understand? So I think, Virat also has always been disliking many things but have developed tolerance to coexist with everyone under the same roof. Sometimes these qualities become your second nature.

Giving up that quality or habit is going to be a big challenge for Virat. He does that effortlessly with Sai and with his mom too sometimes. He needs to free himself and behave the same with everyone. That is why he goes into an extreme when he reacts to Sai's actions because when he gives up the tolerance that he always follows, he just doesn't know how it has to be without crossing the line, crossing the limits. It is like when a child doesn't know how to respond to some situations or circumstances when they first step out, when they step out of their bubble.

He is right now in a stage where he is experimenting everything with Sai, because he has not lived with anyone like her.

None of the above are to defend his actions, it is my understanding of Virat.

Too much to expect from Virat...and if he does that Sai will easily open out her feelings for him through her actions.. Makers dont want that you see.. Not too soon.. Its good that the channel is Sairat centric so we are getting much different episodes than the original version..

Just for instance Sai's anger towards Virat when he came for apology and towards his family and Pakhi at the hospital has been so controlled and dignified.. While Virat has started to speak up against Kaku..in a strict tone..

She would also be like 2 min kya gayi, these two are holding hands with so much love.

Let me create some argument or misunderstanding before they throw me out which will eventually happen.

Or when Sai stays overnight at the hospital...Virat says this bed is big enough for the two of us...you can trust me Sai.😉

Next morning Pakhi walks in with the family and says....

Very true, but I think Sai acts controlled and dignified many times if the other person doesn't raise their voice or if they don't cross their line. She was okay even on the night when she had the fight with Virat afted Amay's arrest. Virat was frustrated that she was showing him an attitude when he wanted to have a good time with her. If only he knew that it was a mock anger, things wouldn't have turned ugly. She kept trying to act calm, but she couldn't comprehend his words or why he was upset and she lost it at the end.

After Pakhi came to their room too, she was acting calm. If you notice, she does act calm many times until the issues doesn't go out of hands.

Sometimes, the leftover bitter feelings play a part and that is when it turns ugly and both of them react in a very unexpected way. Like during the PD incident, she was upset with Virat that because of him Pakhi humiliated her while cancelling the Ladakh trip, more than that him staying silent when she confronted him about his and Paakhi's relationship pushed her to an edge, that is why she was so adamant on not letting him know about PD sir or let him drop her. Yes, she didn't want him to know about who Pulkit was, but she would have behaved differently with Virat if not for the above reasons.

Virat has started to speak up many times, it started on the day when Sai had been to Pakhi's house. Ever since then, he has spoken up many times. But his insecurity is becoming a hurdle sometimes and I hope that once that gets addressed, we can see a big change in him.

Exactly, Virat being a layered character is complicated. Most of the things and actions lead us to think that Virat doesn't notice, but the truth is he does, he is not blind, and he understands as well. But his emotional nature and his tolerance as you said, is a loss for him. As it pulls him back even in situations where he is required to speak the most.

And true, both have growth to show, and slowly they are coming out of the confort zone. Virat's reaction to pakhi nowadays, and Sai's a bit dignified reaction to didi infront of Virat is a good thing actually.
