We should take into consideration the show context before making such blanket statement. Firstly, sai didn't accuse him of ema - she just said the truth : pakhi keeps searching for moments to speak and stay close with virat. It was just plain truth. Secondly, about her returning to the same home , it hasn't happened yet, I'd like to see how it plays out before commenting on it. I know nothing about what made her return.
Now coming to why sai is being lauded for standing up for herself. She did the best she could given the situation. Police station is out of context because she is indebted to virat. Virat has looked after her at her lowest point, how can she replay him by going to the police and making him lose his job? It would have been a point on no return for this show. I can bet you the same people crying about sai not going to the police station would have made 10000 posts about how virat has lost his job because of ungrateful sai and victimise him even more.
She is grateful to virat but not at the cost of her self respect. The tamasha was just the way she could stand for herself and taking it as fiction, it makes sense. The chavans love their fake izzat more than anything. Attacking them where it hurts was the best she could do.
We have x number of shows where heroine gets kicked out and walks aimlessly in street after begging forgiveness before her in laws. Sai character is a refreshing change in this case and it pleased me to see a female lead valuing her self respect.
