Why so nasty towards Aishwarya, the person?

Guys, just an observation, full permission to disagree. Don’t you think everyone’s going a little overboard while hating on Aishwarya? Don’t get me wrong, I despise Pakhi. It’s nice to offer constructive criticism about the actors, but I think some people are getting too vicious. She might not be a stellar actress, which was the case with Ayesha also in the beginning, but she improved so much right? If you don’t like her interviews, or neil’s interviews with her, then don’t watch it. She says bs in the interview, but that’s her opinion, and she’s entitled to it. Making memes with her Instagram personal photos, and being so nasty on the forum is borderline trolling. If you really don’t like her, then why even give her negative publicity, it’s still publicity right?

Sorry if I sounded like a teacher lol.

As far as I have seen , the discussion revolves around her acting abilities and the expressions portrayed by her as Pakhi. It’s the frustration leading to that, leads to the discussion

regarding the memes , I don’t think they have take n personal photos but the photos where she has portrayed the character PAkhi. Making memes out of characters happen everywhere. Instagram is full of it. It’s not done out of spite. That’s not how I see it

This is just my opinion. When one person becomes the focus of promotions , then the focus of the audience automatically shifts towards that and discussion too.

I personally don’t see any of her interviews or segments but if someone posts stuff on forums articles and such , if I disagree with something I do voice out the opinion.

Again agree to disagree

Unfortunately this profession they are in it’s not a kind one. Not justifying unnecessary and harsh comments but that’s part and parcel of what they do. I have seen so many posts on insta commenting about the looks of Sai etc. As an actor hope they take the criticism offered in the right sense

PS: I am only talking about the discussions on the forum and not on Instagram. I don’t know what happens there.

Also as an audience who are invested in watching a show , we have every right to critique the acting abilities of an actor. Express disappointment and have discussions around the same. I have questioned myself about whether I am biased because I love the other character so much . But when I have a discussion in the forums it brings to light different perspectives , right and wrong. So I personally don’t think whatever is happening the forum is a personal and harsh attack on the actor but just the disappointment in what we expect from the role. In fact we have talked about poor direction as well.

yeah all of the above is just my opinion :)

I don’t think people on the forum bash or say anything negative about Aishwarya (though I have seen hateful comments on Instagram)

We criticise her ability to portray pakhi, and her constant need for defending pakhi as a character... we constantly get to her how her character is dignified, doesn’t do anything wrong etc etc from her but when it comes to saying anything good about sais character it’s always woh batameez hai usse bolne ka tareeka nahi hai.

plus she always has IVs even if she is not in the scene.

The lead pair are Neil and Ayesha, yes Aishwarya is a parallel lead but we don’t see much creativity or many scenes between sairat... there are too many unnecessary pakhi scenes.

Yes, it was a shock for all of us that Neil and Aishwarya announced their roka but if you see it was very poor timing. Right before the 100 episode celebrations..

then when it comes to media, they are constantly confusing real and reel.. in an interview with Ayesha the reporter asks her aapko kaisa lag raha hai Virat pakhi ke saath chala gaya and Ayesha says nahi Virat kahi nahi gaya it is Neil sir and Aishwarya ji.. they need to learn to separate..

many actors/actresses are married IRL but they will always promote their onscreen pairing.. that is the profession.

Anyways, calling someone names or posting hateful comment about actors lives is against the rules of IF and it will get reported and deleted by the mods.

About the memes, we make memes on pakhi as a character, not as Aishwarya. We don’t use personal pictures of any actors on the forum, only scene stills and this happens with every show and every movie..

we are just calling out the bias towards one actor on the show.
you know if we are to get more sairat scenes in the show, no one will even comment about the other cast members, at this moment we see very less sairat scenes and no creativity for them but all the creativity is for pakhi..

The makers are copying KD blindly when it comes to sairat but adding more scenes for pakhi!

These are some of the issues at the top of my head, others can add to this list!

And everything said by @notaquitter

@bold I would even go out and say that. If the additional scene with Pakhi makes sense to the episode and the flow of it. Then very good. But there are scenes which are completely repetitive and doesn’t add value at all. Example: 1-1 discussion between Virat and Pakhi during the Valentine episode in the balcony. It was totally not necessary as it was already discussed earlier in the very same episode

Exactly the point!

We want some creativity with sairat.. if we request those scenes the CD blocks us.. we are bound to get agitated just because TRPs are high at the moment doesn’t mean you don’t provide audience with the content we want to watch!!

Nope, not a teacher 😆, you are right in sharing your observation. It is good if someone from the forum raises an objection to anything that is going wrong or thinks is going wrong. I really appreciate your initiative.

Coming to the actress and people's criticism.

Many have even appreciated her singing skills and have said that it will be good if she shares something like this and we as audience will be able to appreciate her skills.

Many of us have even tried to tell that they are professionals and their personal life has got nothing to do with how the episodes have turned out.

But we also have no answers when everything is copied pasted from KD except for very good and nice lead role couple scenes. The sizzling chemistry that Ayesha and Neil share made many to glue to this show but is now not seen not because it is not there but because it is not shown at all. They don't even give a proper closure to a scene when the couple Sairat is in picture.

Many have blamed the creative team and the directors and not the actor or the actress Aishwarya. They have all even defended her saying that it is the director's fault. It is the same people who have raised issues about her interviews.

There was something visibly going on in the sets too where it looked as if Ayesha was always not in picture, was getting neglected, not given much of importance which was objected by the audience and is now getting addressed. But even at that point of time, many of us have always tried to attribute it to Ayesha's nature because of which she doesn't appear as much as others. But having said that, as a team, many things could have been ensured even if that was not the intent.

We as audience, don't want to get carried away by people who are experienced and who have given hit shows and ignore a budding artist such as Ayesha. She needs to be encouraged and appreciated and a visibility has to be created for her otherwise everything will look biased. I think these have been understood by the team now and they have slowly started to address them. One's seniority should not overshadow others, whoever that is.

First of all, I don't know about Insta or Twitter, but here people are mostly making fun if her acting and how delusional she is in all her IVs.

Secondly, she shouldn't be the one promoting the show. So I understand why people are not liking her.

And lastly, believe me GHKKP fans are quite sane compared to other shows fandoms. Ghum's fans mostly critisize rather than troll or bash her.

I agree. People have multiple personalities, sometimes bubbly ones tend to get more focus and the introverts are comfortable where they are.

It’s upto the PR team to bring in the equality and also consider what the audience wants. Ultimately we are the viewers, there should be a balance in whatever they are trying to show.

I 100% agree with the above post.

The discussions threads I have visited and posted all have had constructive criticism for the actress playing Pakhi.

@notaquitter and I even questioned in one of the post if we are being biased because we like the character Sai better.

I honestly think it is ok to comment and criticise ones acting skills because I am investing my time and watching it. If it’s not to my liking I will call out.

My contention with her is she is a trained kathak dancer has got beautiful expressive eyes she should be able to emote well. But ends up giving same expressions in many scenes.

Probably her understanding of the character is different from the audience. Direction and editing team has got a major role in this. Hope someone in ph realises it soon and works on it.

Again this is my opinion. No offence to anyone.
