I find the whole demonisation of Pakhi, including by many in this group, while absolving Virat or treating his transgressions lightly, soooo patriarchal.

1. In fact, Pakhi married Samrat but hardly forged any relationship with him, so while she has to respect the sacred institution of marriage, how can she owe any personal loyalty to Samrat? Samrat also judged her based on a single overheard conversation & acted on it unilaterally, so he has done nothing to deserve her love or loyalty.

2. Again Pakhi did not seek any vow from Virat, he offered it. It acted as a balm to her heart broken by his refusal to marry her. As a somewhat self-centred girl she found some solace in the prospect that even if she did not get him, no other girl would get him either & he would pine away for her. Warped, but not really farfetched. Don’t many wives expect that if something happens to them, the hubby should not remarry?

3. However Virat’s matter is entirely different - he owes his brother a lifetime of honesty & loyalty. He is the one making the biggest transgression of all. He is not the victim here, in fact he is trying to play God by taking stupid decisions for other people’s lives. Yet he is getting away lightly, with all the hate going to Pakhi.

Let us all pls look inward & examine our own deep seated biases & patriarchal mindset.

I meant I don't find the taunting wrong on part of Ashwini but I want Virat to get taunted equally😆 both have done utter stupidity and spoiled Samrat's life so I expect them to get some reality checks otherwise both will be in lala land that they have taken very 'mature' decisions. Though I find it completely wrong that only Pakhi is being targeted by Ashwini. I am hoping she would speak to Virat too.

@ul- I don't think anyone is absolving Virat. Both Virakhi get trolled quite a lot for their stupidity

Regarding your points

1) She does owe loyalty to Samrat as Virat does to Sai now. I know she didn't spend much time with him but the fact is she married him willingly. I know Virat asked her to but who in their right mind agrees to marry a guy to stay close to your lover? Virat's decision was loud and clear, he chose his family over her. She could have backed off from the marriage, even her father was supporting her. Its her life, to be precise her and Samrat's life looking forward. What was she even expecting out of it? Virat didn't promise her any kind of relationship (I am not defending Virat but I just feel that onus of going ahead with marriage was with Pakhi and she chose it willingly knowing very well virat and her had no future and she has to spend her life with Samrat )

Regarding Samrat leaving, I guess he was extremely hurt, both his bro and wife lied to him. He didn't confront her agreed but did Pakhi tell him the truth. When she decided to marry him, she could have come clean with him. She should have talked to him as they are going to spend life together. She owed it to him.

I wouldn't speak much about Samrat as we don't know what exactly he was going through and now he is MIA, I will hold my judgement regarding him. But one thing I like is he didn't insult or disrespect her.

2) That vaada was really stupid of Virat to make and Pakhi to accept It doesn't make any sense to me. Even Pakhi confessed that somewhere she knew he wouldn't be able to keep it. Though she getting hurt is natural as she was clinging on to it. But she asking what place she has in his life now is wrong. They had already decided they will be best friends.

3) Virat deciding he doesn't want to marry Pakhi and choosing his family over her was fine. Because its his life and it was his decision to make. Right or wrong it was about him and he decided his family is more important to him. And I can get that its difficult to tell your bro that I and the girl you are marrying love each other🤣

But him telling Pakhi to marry Samrat was completely wrong. No justification for that at all. Because this was Samrat's decision to make. It was his life and he should have decided whether he wants to go ahead with this marriage or not. And this is where I find Virakhi completely wrong. They made decision for Samrat and kept him in dark. They both have the right to do whatever with their lives and cry over each other for a lifetime but they shouldn't have dragged Samrat into this mess.

Another thing I wanted to add is Virat came clean with Sai regarding marriage. He told his future partner that this is kind of deal and you shouldn't expect anything from me. Sai knew what was she getting into. He owed that to her. And this is where I find Pakhi's wrong. She didn't speak with Samrat as Virat did with Sai

Both the cases they weren't marrying out of love but Virat chose to be honest about everything to Sai.

Today 03 December 2020 episode.

The episode starts with the trio on the terrace...Virat sees Sai and asks what is she doing outside.

She tells him about his nightmare and she came on the terrace to have some fresh air...but heard him backbiting her with Pakhi...

Ashwini keeps fighting for Sai, telling everyone to mind their tongue while talking about her daughter in law Sai....

She says Sai is a very good girl and very honest Pakhi is hurt and asks Ashwini if she gets to know that well in only one day...

Ashwini says it's like she got to know her when she got married to samraat..She tells Pakhi to spare Virat, though he's her best friend as she saw her talking with Virat at 1am on the terrace when Virat should have been with his wife at that time. She tells pakhi not to talk with Virat and pakhi tells ashwini to explain the same to Virat.

TMK does not want any after wedding rituals as she has not given her approval for Virat and Sai's wedding.Shivani is ready to help Ashwini....Ninad also is aginst but Ashwini is able to shut their mouths. and she warns them to behave well with Sai.👏

Karishma goes to call Sai who's sleeping on the couch and she asks her about Virat and why is she sleeping on the couch and not on the bed?? If something happened,Sai says nothing and tells her not to worry for her otherwise her B.P will rise,🤣

Virat comes and Ashwini tells him the after-wedding rituals he says he will not go ahead with it Pakhi also comes and tries to take TMK and Ninad's blessings but they stop her...

Ashwini tells Sai for the rituals she also refuses and Ashwini and Usha explain it is for the wellness of the couple and their family, then Virat says yes ....Sai thinks why Virat agrees when his heart says no ....

Ashwini Karishma and Shivani start the preparation and Ashwini talks about Sai with Shivani saying she's a straightforward but sweet girl...

Usha tells Sai to talk well with her in-laws and mainly Ashwini as she loves her a lot.Ashwini comes with a plate to do a ritual she looks Sai face in the mirror and hugs her....

PRECAP:

After the muh dikhai rituals Virat tells Sai in front of everybody that now it is his turn to gift her something and he will get her admission done in a college....(I did not understand it well)

Pakhi will help her....Sai asks Virat if Pakhi is in medical??🤣she does not need help and he has not found anyone else to guide her in life.🤣👏
