She won’t express her feelings though? I don’t want CVS to butcher her character . She has been independent and has a goal to achieved. She will definitely develop feelings for him.. but she will confess only when Virat reciprocates her feelings too.

If I focus on character personality and trajectory of sai and virat, virat falling for sai first doesn't make sense as he puts his duty and promises over everything. Because of that and also pakhi being always there, he won't be able to move away from that stupid promise he gave her unless the writers make pakhi negative. Sai is not bound by anything. Yes she wants to focus on her career but she hasn't bound her life with a promise like virat and she does follow her heart more instead of her head unlike virat. So it makes sense that she falls for him first. Also virat is her anchor right now and he supports her emotionally and in every way that counts. So for sai, its not hard to take the next step and transition from respect to love.

In the Bengali version, the guy admits to loving the girl 1st to the 3rd party lol. The girl is accused of not loving/caring for him but she does care but I don’t think she admits it like he does. Idk who fall for 1st in terms to admitting he does it 1st but they don’t confess to each other for a ver very long time. I don’t even thing they had a proper confession scenes between them but once they get together they do say ilu to each other often! This version seems to copying the KD version in terms of family drama line by line but when it comes to the leads there is far less scenes between Virat & Sai then there was in the KD version 😭😭😭😭😭😭

I was just saying what makes sense based on the characterization of sai and virat. So I guess now we know that virat is already in love with her but sai is not. I haven't watched the bengali version so can't say who fell in love first. Admitting or not admitting to it doesn't change the fact here that virat has fallen in love. You can trust itv writers to not care about what makes sense for the character. They care about trps and here they have changed virat's character from before. I believe in evolution of a character not a 360 degree change. I am not saying I don't like him with sai (love sairat) but they should not have started off the character the way they did and then make it feel rushed. As you said there are less Sairat scenes compared to KD, so here they are editing that out to focus more on the drama and less on developing their relationship. Hence it doesn't feel more natural.
