Sai doesn't have to be fully dependent on Virat financially. She will be eligible to receive a share of his pension. And moreover, since he died while on duty, he'll even get a bravery award and the amount which comes with it. The government takes care of the families of those killed in action pretty well. I hope they show this so that Sai doesn't have to ask Virat for every little thing.

This is a serious topic and I have the same point to say. Sai is definitely entitled to receive her father's salary, pension benefits and other earnings being his only child. She need not be dependent on Virat financially.

This would be a suitable track to bring kind of in the middle of the show when a separation track is needed between virat and sai. Rather than typical separation brought in by a 3rd person coming into the relationship, an actual situation like this would help develop sairat better!

She may receive other monetary benefits which is due when one retire from a government service(in this case deadth while on duty) but sai wont get any pension

Also he was taking a VRS and his daughter wanted to be a doctor obviously he must have had an idea how much it would cost and may have strted an education savings account for Sai from past few years.

Actually Sai could. Also apply for a full scholarship or a part.

Sai doesn't need Virat even to pay her fees.

56,000 pay Does he know how much is the medical college fees for 1 term.

She is not eligible for any pension. But she can have life insurance policy or worker's insurance policy benefits if she's the beneficiary ( she should be as she's the only child ). Also , she is eligible to apply for scholarship based on her result.

In medical line , if you take VRS , many worker's benefits are cut off , as a sort of penalty. Same in applicable for other govt. fields like military, army , navy , police force etc.

Did Kamal had no savings?? One would think he would save money, jewelry etc. for her daughter's education and marriage. Every family has some savings or other. Where were they planning on staying after coming to Nagpur? They must've had a house or apartment. Which should now belong to Sai.

Plus she can stay in college hostel campus and work part time for expenses. Many medicos from poor family backgrounds do this . Some umc family students as well , for pocket money.

Just also want to mention, Sai was married off to Viraat for her safety not financial reasons.

But medical college girl hostels are usually extremely safe. It's about the reputation of the college.

This is ITV dear,so we cant expect any logic.

In normal world as an only daughter sai would definitely have some thing but here I dont know.

But didnt sai and her father discussed about taking a house near nagpur medical college.

So some savings is to be expected
