You've got to laugh...the irony of it all. Lakshmi not getting a job, without any education or experience. Who didn't see that coming? However, I do admire that finally she went out there, and saw what it is really like for most people who don't live in a niwas, or routinely dress in jewels/fine clothing, or have servants at their beck and call.

I've got to wonder about these people's (Garodia's) thought process. How are Durga being a dance teacher and Lakshmi being an office worker going to gather 55 lakhs in a short period of time? The only way Durga could get that money is to dance in the classical Kajri tradition 😉 and snare a wealthy, stupid man like her brother, Yuvraj 😈. Lakshmi, oh,dream large-Bollywood or the TV industry.
How many lives would Durga and Lakshmi have to live to collect 55 lakhs. It's not like doctors are who they are out of the goodness of their hearts and souls. 😆 😆 😆 Show me the money, I'll show you the diagnosis.

In response to daddysgirl's comment, there is no way in hell Lakshmi is going to forgive Karan at this point no matter what good things he does--like saving her father's life. I wish she would but she's got a masochistic streak! Poor, poor Karan. 😭

I forgot--someone wrote above how Karan was responsible for Suryakant's state. I beg to differ. 😳

The driver of the car and Suryakant are responsible for the present situation. Karan is morally guilty of destroying his father-in-law and in bringing so much pain to the family. There's no such thing as too much pain in the Garodia household. 😉

Look, I think a good amount of people would agree--if I were in the same situation, I would be devastated. I would make myself scarce. But walk in the middle of the road like a zombie? No way.

Yes, it was a shock for Suryakant to hear Karan's plan, but it's not like anyone died. This may sound cold, but let's get things into perspective. He could have been treated psychologically, prescribed something, cleared his name. Man, get off the road!
