February 17th 2009 Written Update
Jhanvi slaps the man and all the men in the bar stand in shock. She tells him that she'll never be so in need that she will stoop to such levels. The guy warns her that after slapping him, she shouldn't expect to earn a job in the entire Rajpipla. She vows to him that she will prove him wrong. She is walking on the street when she sees a group of men approaching her, but when she turns around the man is standing there, laughing. The men grab her and rip off her sleeve, but she stamps on their feet and escapes. They run after her, but when they hear the sound of the police arriving they run off. She runs into the police station, but none of the police are ready to talk to her and tell her to wait if she wants to submit a complaint.
At home, Yuvraj watches as Niyati slogs away working. Saraswati tells Gauri that she's going to meet Kshitij. Kajri watches and tells Rasili that Saras wont even be able to leave. Later, the commissioner arrives at the station and Jhanvi tells him that at 2am last night on Gulabi Gali she was followed by some guys. He tells her that its her fault she was in such a dirty place so late at night, and tells her that all the things that happen are the fault of girls like her only. Kshitij who is being taken out of his cell punches the commissioner for speaking like that to Jhanvi. The police beat him up and put him back in his cell.
Saras is washing clothes when Kajri-Rasili come to her with a stack of clothes. When she tells them that she just washed those, they tell her to wash them again and then she can go meet her Kshitij. (Cinderella style!)
Kshitij is put back into his cell and Jhanvi goes to meet him. She explains to him that she left the house so she could work and help the family. She makes him promise not to let anyone know of what happened, else no1 would let her leave the house. Back at the Garodia house Saras is about to leave when Kajri stops her. Saras tells her that no1 can stop her today, and she pushes Kajri's hand away and leaves.
Precap: Yuvraj tells Kajri that hes planning on putting 25% of the property into Niyati's childs name.
